Grace Landa is a stunning one bedroom, one and a half bath condo located at Waterwheel Condominiums on the Guadalupe River! Walking distance to downtown New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn and only 3 miles historic Gruene. This beautiful condo is fully furnished with everything you need to have a relaxing vacation! Enjoy the beautiful views from the open living room/kitchen! The dining room has seating for 6. The huge bedroom has 2 queen sized beds and there is a sofa sleeper in the living room. The bedroom has a bathroom with a handicap accessible shower and there is another half bath conveniently located in the hallway. High quality linens are provided for all beds and baths. Walk down to the river or visit Rockin' R River Rides is only .7 miles away to make accommodations for tubing. The complex has 2 pools, 4 hot tubs, charcoal grills and a large amount of beautiful open green space with shady trees. It's a perfect place for a picnic! This condo is on the third floor and does have an elevator for easy access. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. 1 dog allowed, must be under 40 lbs, additional cost of $25 per day. You will receive 2 parking passes and 4 wristbands (max amount allowed). This condo has a maximum occupancy of 4 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.
**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are really there to ensure that you have a fabulous time!
WINTER MONTHLY RENTALS - if you are interested in renting monthly in the winter months, please contact for pricing details. This property is $1700 per month. (no closet in this unit).

"Acceptable
Overall the visit to unit C302 was good, the location was great and the view from the condo was wonderful. The unit was clean and ready for us. We would strongly encourage you or the owners to address several important issues.
1) The couch and love seat were dirty and stained and very uncomfortable with broken down springs and in need of immediate replacement. Several guests who came over for dinner remarked on the condition of them and refused to sit in them. In short they were terrible. The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced and or cleaned.
2) There were lots of pots and pans but most of the non-stick ones need to be thrown out, and there condition is bad, and food stuck to them anyway. This looked like a collection from an old garage sale.
3) The dishes and silverware were again a collection of garage sale items as there were very few matching plates. It does not cost that much to purchase some new and matching dinnerware and plates.
4) The thermostat was a mess, as it would not keep a constant temperature, we would set the heat to 68 and in 30 minutes it reset itself to 50 this went on every day. we would set it to 67 at night and it would reset itself again to a lower temp. Instructions would have been very useful.
5) The indoor lighting was terrible as you could not read, the natural lighting during the day was great. This unit needs more lamps and better chairs to sit and relax. It must be remembered that a great number of your guests are older the better seating and lighting is needed.
6) There was an abundance of "black mold" in the shower.
7) This unit has access to two pools and 4 hot tube. The courtyard pool was cold and dirty, as was one of the hot tubs, the other courtyard hot tub did not have any functioning jets. This needs to be fixed as it created overcrowding in the pool/hot tubs on the green area.
The property management was great but we could not and will not recommend this unit to anyone until these issu"

"Quick trip change
We had to make a quick change in vacation plans due to a storm. We found this rental , quickly booked it and headed there immediately. Management company was extremely helpful. Rental was very clean, well stocked and in a great location on the river."

"Great Location, Poor Cleanliness
I recently stayed at this condo and was quite disappointed. While the location was nice, the cleanliness of the condo was severely lacking. The shower had mold/mildew and a noticeable odor. The silverware was dirty, and there were ants all over the kitchen. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again."

NB Escapes is a great service. Everyone in the office are knowledgeable, polite. Needed a place for mom due to delay of home being built. I’m local and highly recommend using this service. "Very Comfortable stay
Nice large open living and kitchen area. Bedroom is extra large with nice size bathroom. Only item missing was a chest or dresser to put your clothes away.
Beautiful area of the river is just below the hill at the back of this property with easy access."

"wonderful weekend
The condo overlooks the back pool and accessing the river is just beyond the pool. The only downside was that at 10pm, the pools basically became a water-filled night club. The rules say no loud noise after 10 pm, but that is definitely not enforced. Other than that, the stay was lovely. "

"Very nice condo
Condo was very nicely decorated and clean. The beds were comfy, all you need like pits and pans and dishes were provided. I was a little disappointed that you cannot see the river from the condo, because I wanted a river view, but proximity to everything......Schlitterbahn, Greune, and river rides was convenient. And the staff at the office were SOOOO nice."

"Awesomeness!
Truly fantastic. First of all, the location couldn't be better, not only is it walking distance from all the places you wanna be -- but the view from this unit is on-point. Secondly, the decor and layout is just lovely. It's like you're taking a vacation from home... all the extras are there. Cooking? No problem dishes and accoutrements. Margaritas? Yup, blender and plenty of bar space. Chill space? Yes, super-spacious rooms with big screen TVs and fully stocked book shelves.
We loved walking right down to the pools and hot tubs (2 of each) plus the river is RIGHT there. Plan it right, and you can float the river directly back to the condo (maps and info packets are all in the condo, which is sooo helpful if you don't know the area). Will be back again and again! Perfect getaway if you live nearby OR if you want an extended stay and are new to Texas.
Side note: Its safe for the family, we felt good know there were security patrols and they were super nice, approachable. Always a good thing for a mom to feel good about that sorta thing.

Great condo on the Guadalupe. We swam in the river and the pool, Ubered to Gruene for dinner and live music. The one bedroom was as big as two bedrooms, and having 1 & 1/2 baths made it fine for 4 people. We would stay here again. Very clean. Great walk-in shower. Only two suggestions: provide a toaster and replace the couches."

"Best time ever! Perfect location!
It was overall a wonderful experience from the time we parked the car to opening the door! The Condo is beautifully decorated , amazing view and patio to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning to a night cap in the evening - very spacious , lots of windows to being in the natural light. Kitchen is very well equipt , we wanted for nothing ! Beds are very comfortable bathrooms are spacious. We had family over to enjoy dinner and the pool - plenty of room to entertain if needed. Our highlight was BBQ downstairs and sitting under the huge shaded trees after floating in the river, which is so convient. Not to mention the games available to sit and play or the variety of books on the book shelve. Everything was very well thought out to make our stay an awesome experience. Thank you for a wonderful experience and awesome memories! We will share this with all our friends to check out and enjoy. We will defiantly be back to stay- a very lovely place. "

"A perfect getaway!
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Grace Landa. The condo itself was well-furnished, well-kept, very open layout with a beautiful window wall looking out over the beautiful grassy, shady grounds leading to the pool and river. The river access was just beautiful, and very easy to get in and out of. Oh, and the location is just perfect with quick and easy access to downtown NB, Gruene, and walking distance to Schlitterbahn and tubing. Had THE best time and will be back soon!"
