Cactus Cottage is a charming, 1 BR, 1 BA, handicap accessible, remodeled manufactured home. The living area has a futon and color HDTV. There is a fully-equipped kitchen. There is also a charcoal grill on the deck. This house will sleep 3 comfortably. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The futon in the living area is full size and can sleep two children or 1 adult. There is a walk in shower in the bathroom. Cactus Cottage offers a beautiful view of the lake through its French doors and from its deck. There is a patio with a picnic table and two lounging chairs. The yard leads out to a cove for swimming, and if you bring a boat, you can launch just down the road at White Deer Landing. No charge.

You can swim in the cove right outside the rental, sunbathe in patio chairs, cook on the grill, and dine on the patio picnic table. There is plenty of room on the lot for games and activities. I can refer professional fishing guides and boat rental on the lake. If you have your own boat there is parking for it and you can launch in our neighborhood community, White Deer Landing, just down the road.

Lake Tawakoni State Park is less than one mile away, offering reserved beach and swimming, hiking/biking trails and fishing; Canton's First Monday is 20 minutes away; SplashKingdom, a waterpark and inside entertainment and game center is 20 miles away; Tanger Outlet Mall and The Shops at Terrell in Terrell, Texas, are 20 miles away; antique shopping in Wills Point, Canton, Greenville and nearby Forney.

$150 per night plus a $50 cleaning fee. A $150 refundable security deposit is also required.
