CONSIDER BOOKING A CHRISTMAS 2023 HOLIDAY TRIP FOR YOUR FAMILY AT THIS COZY HOME! This is an awesome lake vacation home!!! You've got to see this huge immaculate log cabin home to believe it. The furnished cabin sits with a gorgeous elevated view of a prime area of Raccoon Lake, a 2000+ acre lake in beautiful Parke County Indiana. The cabin includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths (4th bedroom is loft with both a regular queen bed and a pull out double bed), a large family room with bar, over sized fully equipped kitchen, living room, 2 fireplaces, huge upper level attached deck facing the lake, stone porch lower level, and fantastic firepit area. It includes private stairs down to a private dock with room for 2 boats. There is simply no nicer place on the lake. In the summer season, we do week long rentals only from Saturday to Saturday. In the spring, fall and winter, there is just a 2 night stay minimum at a lower off-season rate. Raccoon Lake is 8 miles from Rockville, Indiana, home of the annual mushroom festival at the beginning of May, and the covered bridge festival in October. Raccoon Lake State Recreation Area, a 4000 acre state recreation area and park, ensures that a huge portion of the lake is un-built.

$2395/wk in the summer, Saturday to Saturday check in-check out

$319/night weeknights in the off season and $379/night weekends fall, winter, spring (minimum 2 night reservation)
$379/night during Covered Bridge Festival, Labor Day Weekend (Fri thru Monday), Memorial Day Weekend (Friday thru Monday), Thanksgiving holiday (Wednesday - Sunday), and Christmas/New Year holiday (Dec 24-Jan 1).

Pontoon boat rental is $195/day or $845/week.
Ask about pontoon availability. There are two slips at our dock. One holds our rental pontoon, and the other is for your use for any watercraft you might bring with you. No pontoon rentals after October 10th.

Raccoon Lake is a reservoir, and water levels are controlled by the Army Corp of Engineers. We are not responsible for, nor do we have control over, water levels and/or weather conditions. Refunds for your vacation rental will not be given for water level issues or stormy weather conditions.

While we do allow small to medium sized dogs, we do not allow cats or other pets. Maximum of two dogs. You must tell us if you are bringing a pet, and there is a $35/dog pet fee. If you choose to bring a pet, you are responsible to only bring a pet that is 100% house trained. In addition, if you bring a pet, you agree to pay for any and all damage to the home or the property caused by your pet.

There are to be no campers parked or tents put up on the property. You are welcome to park your trailer for any watercraft you have docked at the property.

You literally don't have to pack much at all. We were not used to kitchens being well stocked. Obviously, you have to provide the food, but they had everything else. I sort of wish we were there in the summer to make use of the pontoon boat. Water was too low in March. Maybe on a future visit. I was there with my wife, two daughters and both sets of their grandparents. We had plenty of space. It was such a nice house to relax in. I highly recommend this house!
