"We just finished a week at this lovely lakeside home. The pictures don't truly do it justice. It was the perfect getaway for my family of 4 - 2 parents and 2 kids under 6. The lake is quiet and perfect for swimming.
The deck is a wonderful place to while away the day while reading in the hammock. Michael and Sheila are very welcoming hosts, and easily accessible if any questions come up. We swam and canoed, used the grill, and also took their advice on a good place to get ice cream. My kids were both sad to head home today and made us promise we would try and return next summer. "

"My familly had a great vacation at this beautiful property and would absolutely love to come back. It's perfect for kids and adults.
The house is perfect, comfortable, clean, well stocked overlooking a gorgeouse lake. The lake is incredible, deep and clean, fun for swimming and kayaking.
Michael and Sheila are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. "

"We just got back from a week there and didn't want to leave.The house had everything we needed, was extremely clean and in excellent condition. We just swam and cooked and chilled out.The water is super clean and the dock is nice for fishing or jumping off of. The a/c was nice on the humid days. Nice comfy swivel chairs and couch to relax in. Had amazing views from the massive deck. The only drawback is the 40+ stairs to reach the house.But I'm also older and way out of shape. So don't let it deter you because other than that the place is amazing. And Mike the owner is extremely easy to deal with and very personable. Check it out you won't be disappointed."

"We had a great vacation! Our children fished for hours each day and there was always a waiting list for the canoe! Despite the cooler weather, being October, two of our boys even took a little swim. The house was nice and clean with plenty of space for our large family. Without TV, we enjoyed family game nights. We hope to return in the spring!"

"What a wonderful place! We rented Mike and Sheila's place for two weeks, and enjoyed every minute. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and enjoy the water with your family, this is it. Located almost at the end of a dead-end road and toward the end of the pond, it's quiet all the way around!
The front deck was the living room for two weeks - we barely went inside, and 5 children from 5 to 18 were kept busy and happy The water is perfect for swimming or canoeing. If you have young children, the "hobbit" bedroom will be a big hit - guaranteed!

"Michael and Sheila were great hosts. We were a total of 3 family and they explained everything in detail to make our vacation a great experience.
Things to know - You dont have to really carry anything with you but food. The rental has everything starting with life jackets, one canoe, firewood etc.
The pond itself was amazing. Water was so clean and clear I could literally see big fishes at the bottom. This rental has a deck from which we could dive into 25-30 ft water depth. We had some air boats bought from Amazon for 60 bucks - the challenger 3 seater which enhanced the whole experience. Will definitely go back next year. Thank you Michael and Sheila."

"Our family of 5 had a most relaxing time by the lake. When we arrived we found a congratulatory 6 pack of beer for our son who had just graduated college nearby. The kitchen had everything we could need for multiple meals. The views are magnificent. All we heard for 2 days was the wind through the trees and the birds chirping happily. There are plenty of towels and extra blankets. The BBQ grill works perfectly and the canoe got a lot of use. We hope to back sooner than later. "

"First I want to say how friendly Mike was and also how helpful he was with things to do in the area. The home was clean and well suppied with everything you could possibly need, (extra blankets, pillows,pots and pans, dishes, propane) We wanted for nothing. The view out the bedroom window of the lake was breathtaking in the morning, coffee on the deck to watch the sunrise was also perfect. Being on the waer bring's a special kind of peace, This home provided that and more! We so enjoyed our canoe ride around the lake. Shower was hot and full of water pressure. At the end of the night we enjoy a campfire as the sun went down. We were lucky enough to be there on an eclipse of the moon weekend, Just an amazing , amazing thime. Thank you Mike so much for sharing this home with other's. I would highly reccomend this home. GREAT ESCAPE!"

"We rented the lake house the first week of August and had a marvelous stay. Mike and Sheila were absolutely great. They guided us there by phone and met us at the house to greet us and go over specifics for the week. The home surpassed our expectations with plenty of room for my family and my sister and her daughter. The kids swam and fished right off the dock, and the canoe came in handy for morning and evening paddles around the lake. The location is quiet and lovely, with sunshine streaming in the large windows throughout the house, and a spectacular view from the master bedroom. There is plenty of seating on the double decks, a large outdoor table set up and a huge comfy hammock, which was a favorite with the kids. The house was completely stocked with everything needed for a comfortable fun filled vacation and the owners had even left a nice bottle of wine for us. We highly recommend this rental to anyone considering staying in the area. Mike and Sheila were lovely."

"Perfect lake vacation rental! Mike and Sheila were extremely accommodating throughout our entire stay. Their house surpassed all our expectations. We had a group looking to get away for a few days to relax, get out on the water to go fishing and simply disconnect for a while. The house has everything you might need; plenty of rooms, full kitchen, large deck with great views of the lake and private dock for easy access to the water. I highly recommend and would definitely rent again from Mike and Sheila!"

"Great place to rent. Michael and Sheila were awesome hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. Being unplugged for a few days on a beautiful quiet pond was just what we were looking for. House had everything we needed. Awesome views....great for swimming/kayaking. Got a little fishing in and some tubing (thanks Sheila). Peaceful peaceful peaceful. The 5 of us had plenty of room and my three children (16, 19 & 22) were able to stay entertained. I would recommend to others and I would consider for future vacations.

"My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful getaway at Michael and Sheila's cottage on Leadmine pond. From the start, Michael was a pleasure to communicate with. He was responsive and very accommodating, offering us tips and information about the area. Michael and Sheila's home was very clean and very comfortable. The surroundings were gorgeous and we were able to have the perfect relaxing and peaceful weekend we were looking for. We enjoyed hanging out on the expansive deck and swimming and canoeing in the pond. While for us it was a peaceful couples getaway, it would be a great vacation for a family with plenty of available activities and even a house filled with board games! Thanks to Michael and Sheila for helping us feel at home for the weekend. :)"

"We stay here every Brimfield flea and consider it our home away from home! Beautiful views - Very private-comfortable beds- no TV-Great deck and grill-Boat for fishing - We actually swim across the lake in July- It's very clean. There are 40+ steps to get down to the house- a good work out! Makes us feel better about all the meals we cook on the grill and consume on the deck over-looking the lake! And the owners couldn't be nicer! Recommend!!!"
