Well suited for someone wanting a very private vacation away from daily life. This cabin is the only cabin on the waterfront. Bristol lake contains bluegill, bass, crappie and other varieties of fish. IF YOU WANT TO PREVIEW THE CABIN, PLEASE CALL FIRST AS IT IS OUR AIM TO KEEP THIS PROPERTY PRIVATE FOR OUR RENTERS. Weekly Rental $700 for 2 people. Damage Deposit $200. The deposit guarantees your cabin and requested dates at the expense of turning others away. The deposit along with signed copy of rental agreement is due within 7 days. This deposit will then become the damage deposit and returned within 5 days of your stay after inspection.
$50 for each additional guest
Deposit is returned if cancellation is within 60 days.
NO CLEANING FEE IF CABIN IS LEFT AS YOU FOUND IT.

The lakehouse has everything you would need, just bring your food, pillow (although those are provided as well) and a good book! You have the entire lake to yourselves with the exception of a nearby local maybe putting their boat in for some late afternoon fishing. Has all the amenities including tv, dvr, and air conditioning. My husband and I have been coming yearly for several years...This is something we look forward to every year. Wade and Carol Edwards are very nice and accommodating. You won't be disappointed. The owners are very nice and attentive and were available up the hill on the property to answer any questions. There is only one window air conditioning unit in the main bedroom and the second bedroom gets pretty warm. (We brought an air mattress and our daughter slept on the floor in main bedroom with us w/the air conditioning.) We were there during one of the hottest weeks in August and the window unit and a couple of fans (all that we kept running) made the cabin comfortable inside, even with the heat. Will DEFINITELY be back. The sunsets were beautiful and heavenly to watch. The lake was a great blessing to us for boating and fishing. Flying my remote control float plane was another enjoyment several times when the wind was calm. Carol and Wayne were great host making us feel welcomed not only on their property but also at their church that we attended with them on Sunday. We would stay at this peaceful place again. The water was clean and the floating dock was the kids favorite spot! It is so peaceful and quiet with nearby stores, bait shops and great pizza. We loved the huge wrap around porch. Our only complaint was we didn't realize it didn't have air other then a window unit in the back bedroom. There are fans and we brought one with us but the temps got real hot the week we were there. " Jul 15, 2020 - Jeff Bell "My wife and two boys, 10 and 12, spent a week during the 4th of July. It was amazing. Mom got to relax while the boys and I spent some time fishing. We had real good luck with the bass jigging along the weeds using a black rubber craw. The pan fish were harder to find. However most of the boys time was spent swimming in the water jumping off the raft. They especially loved spending time in the kayaks exploring the lake and two of the feeder creeks. Plenty of wild life too. Our favorite was watching a mink playing along the lake's bank. The sunsets were gorgeous. The cottage was very clean and very well furnished. We used both of the two refrigerators. The cottage was full of little amenities such as games, movies, and puzzles. We loved the HUGE wrap around screened in porch. Carol was an absolutely amazing host and quickly responded to any questions we had. She even brought us a list of local firework shows. It has been wonderful both times. We hoped to do a lot of fishing, but expected what we got at the end of April. Still had sun shiny days, but was a tad windy for fishing. We were without TV. They were thinking it was hit by lightning. We really didn't even miss it. It's so nice to tune out the world and to actually talk with one another...We played yahtzee and fished and just enjoyed having the cottage, and a whole lake to ourselves. The beach is a bit rocky so waterwalker shoes are very helpful and we brought a Verizon Hotspot and it handled anyWifi needs that we had. The cabin is so nice and clean, and the wrap around enclosed porch is just outstanding for early morning coffee and after sunset games and activities. The kayak and paddle boat were huge hits with the kids and I enjoyed fishing from the kayak in tight spots around fallen trees that I couldn't easily get to before. While it is a small lake, this is the only property on it, and so it feels like you have the entire lake to yourself. I have never found another place like this that is so peaceful and provides a complete escape from the daily grind. We can't wait to come back next year! Very peaceful. Close to cities if you want out. Owners are very nice people.. I say almost perfect due to my husband being 6'4" and the chairs were meant for someone smaller. A larger TV would be nice too in case of bad weather cause you can't fish all the time, even though we tried. We plan to go back next year despite the two minor flaws I mentioned. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with many of the things needed to feel at home. The owners are very likable people who were available if needed but otherwise gave you plenty of privacy. The lake is big enough to feel like there is a lake under you but small enough that you can get around easily with oars. Wayne and Carol are such nice people. The fishing was great,although wayne said i was about 2 weeks early. It was great. Very nice evenings and mornings. I would love to go back soon. We loved our stay and hope to get back again. We had deer run right through the yard in the morning it was great. Easy to find and close to all the shops but still away enough for a enjoyable break from all of that busy activity. And the price is simply unbeatable. Carol is a GREAT host - so kind.
