The pool is great for kids and minutes away from the beach. The house was clean. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The only we ran into was that they must have been replacing the microwave. There was an open hole above the stove. There was no fan for the stove. Luckily we didn’t use it much. They did provide a microwave but no one told us that there was an issue. It would have been nice to know if someone was coming to replace the part or give us a heads up before we checked in to the condo. The kitchen had everything we needed (just be aware that there are no staples like salt, pepper, sugar in the age of Covid) and we very much enjoyed the outdoor seating. It's adjacent to the pool and other patios so I can imagine it might be noisy in the middle of summer but perfect end of March. On the map the beach is across the street, but in the way of Hilton Head it is an easy half mile walk and very beautiful. Don't miss Kenny B's for Beignets a short walk away. Just an issue of poor cleaning. The master bedroom in particular had a musty smell that would not go away and carpet over very uneven floors you could feel. Dirty ashtray in kitchen cabinet, 2 used towels hanging behind a bedroom door. We sat in the parking lot and the inspection of the unit took less than 1 minute. Did I mention the roaches, several baby ones in kitchen and dining area. Again, won’t be back. It still has the same green carpet from our very first visit and none of the appliances and few of the fixtures have been updated. Now, was our vacation ruined - no! We have been in several other condos on the property (we travelled with 4 other families this year). All of those units were beautiful in comparison! I'd say this unit is right in the middle - has everything you need, but nothing more. It's an OK place to stay when visiting the beach - thankfully, it rained only one day, so we weren't stuck in the condo!"
