Everything was wonderful but a couple of things to consider when renting...there are NO curtains on any of the windows (bathrooms included). While I understand this, having our bathroom face the lake and having no curtains, I was a little uneasy preparing to get in and out of the shower. The main level bathroom faces the garage so if anyone walked by it was possible again to see in. The sun at 5:45am was blinding as it came in the upper level bedrooms. Our only suggestion would be to have curtains, or at least a rod that a blanket could be hung up on, and possibly have a stock of paper towels to help clean up quick spills. Just another hint for those of you staying: If the Dish says it lost signal, just change the channel. There was plenty of room for our entire family of adults and children and they loved the lake. Because there were so many of us we brought our own lawn chairs, life jackets, and water floatation devices. We made full use of the fire pit, charcoal grill, canoe, paddle boat, kayak, sunning on the deck, and swimming. We rented a jet ski on the near by public lake of Ratbun. Inside the house we found all the necessary amenities. Our stay was wonderful and the family has asked to return next year. Thanks Shelly!" There are 3 separate floors so the 2 older grandkids had a room to themselves next to their parents, we had the main floor and our other daughters family that included a baby had the lower lever. We had togetherness and privacy and everything we needed was available. The view and the lake were great. We found some great small restaurants nearby in Centerville, and Lake Rathbun, a larger lake is also nearby. Thanks to the Riggens for a lovely vacation."
