License to Chill GW105 is a 6 bedroom 4 bath with 2 half baths. The home offers amazing views and a large ocean front balcony and a private pool. Offering an elevator with access to all 3 floors. The 3rd floor has a large open kitchen, living room and dining area with a half bath. The 2nd floor has 6 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The 1st and 2nd bedroom have a king bed with a private bath. The 3rd bedroom a King bed and the the 4th bedroom, 2 Queen beds. These 2 rooms share a bath. There are also 2 additional bedrooms on this floor that share a bathroom, each with a set of twin size bunk beds with a trundle. The 1st floor has a laundry room, bathroom and a one car garage for your use. This home is BEACHFRONT, located close to the community boardwalk.
PER HOA: No boats, trailers or street parking at the home. Parking is allowed for 5 vehicles. If you choose to rent a golf cart it must be rented from Port A Beach Buggies at (restrictions apply, see below for more information and details) Gulf Waters requires proof of vaccination for all pets. This must be been presented to the onsite Gulf Waters office at the time of check in. Failure to provide proof of vaccination can result in eviction per Gulf Waters HOA. STR#200104766

Great location, easy access to the beach, love the beach buggie rental, the house was in perfect condition, it had everything you could need in the kitchen and more! "Great house, great location!
We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness and comfort of this house. Location right on the beach - we had a golf cart but it’s not needed - just extra fun! Quick drive to many restaurants but we also cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well appointed, even had a double oven! Very clean house. Property management was very friendly and responsive, we had them out to reset the router (the RV park has wifi but the house wifi was way better!). We also had them out to change batteries in a smoke alarm that started chirping midway through our stay (they replaced batteries in all detectors). The house is located in an RV park but not managed by the same staff, I didn’t know that until we left. The staff at the park are also really great, very friendly."

"Fantastic house with a great view!
We stayed here with my in-laws and husbands grandparents. Our rental requirements were an elevator, private pool and view. This house did more than deliver! The grandparents felt comfortable using the elevator on their own and were able to enjoy all the amenities of the house! The view from the third floor was more than you could ask for and the pool was perfect! There was also plenty of privacy since there were separate bathrooms for us all. We will be staying again next summer!"

"Excellent Rental House
First, the good. We were pleasantly surprised that this rental house was as advertised which rarely happens with many rentals. The best part about this house is that it was CLEAN! The photos that are used in the advertisement are accurate. You will not be disappointed. Now for the not so good... some of the drains in the sink and showers drain slowly... bring Draino! The house needs to be sprayed by a professional exterminator as we did see roaches in the kitchen... bring RAID! Lastly, the pool had quite a bit of sand in it. It would be nice if the home owners provided guests with the ability to vacuum the pool and to shock it before use."

"No “Shark Week”.
We enjoyed it very much. This was our third time at this property.
The only negative item is the TV in the main family room. The screen was defective. The lower left quarter of the screen was very dark. We lived with it for 2 days, then called to report it. We were told a repairman would come to take a look and possibly provide a substitute. That never happened. This was disappointing since watching “Shark Week” has become a tradition.
The person my wife spoke with seemed to imply that we had damaged the TV and insurance could cover it. The TV was that way from the first time we turned it on. We were disappointed, having paid the amount we had for the rental, that a swift replacement wasn’t forthcoming. Normally, satisfaction ratings would be all 5’s. Not this time."

"Our Favorite Beach Destination
This was our third stay at License to Chill and we have already reserved it again for next summer so you can see we are extremely pleased with the property. It is clean, has a well provisioned kitchen, the pool is large enough for our entire family, and the view is outstanding. The elevator makes moving in and out a breeze, and the second fridge and 1/2 bath near the pool is a great amenity. The boardwalk is well maintained and large enough for golf carts. We will keep returning."

"A little let down
This has been our favorite house to rent for the past 5 years. The house is beautiful, location is amazing and it is always spotlessly clean. However, this year we had trouble with the elevator. It kept stopping between floors. We were always able to get it to restart by opening and closing the interior door again. That was until the last night when my 81 year old mom got stuck between floors. We could not get it to go. We were able to use the emergency tool and get the outer door open and then pull her out. Very scary for her. This also meant that my 90 year old MIL was then relegated to the middle floor since she was unable to manage the stairs. This has got to be addressed as one of the top reasons we love this house is the elevator access for our elderly parents. When we checked out we told the agency and they did not seem to be too concerned. I am only giving 3 stars due to elevator condition. Otherwise I would have given 5. "

"Best Port A house we've stayed in!
We frequently rent houses and condos in Port A, and this by far has been the best. Having all of the living space on the top floor was so nice because there was plenty of room for a large family to spread out and you look at stunning views all day. This house was also the most thoughtful and best stocked - meaning while usually rentals are stocked with the basics, this had everything and more you could want in even your house at home. We hosted Thanksgiving for our family here and there was plenty of serving dishes, cookware, plates, etc etc. There was nothing we needed that couldn't be found. The weather was terrible this trip, but with the stunning views and large living space, we still felt relaxed and enjoyed the views even though we were stuck inside. One note: The two primary bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are not on the ocean side which is unusual. In the end, it didn't bother us but worth noting if that's important to you. Also the bunk beds in one room appear to be more kid sized only, but there are plenty of large beds in the other rooms to pick from. However, if all the kids are teens this is something to consider. The house was very clean and in immaculate condition. I wasn't sure about the location being inside an RV park but if you aren't familiar with Gulf Waters, it's not your usual park - the spaces are owned and built out by owners, and there are requirements for RVs staying there so all are very nice. It was extremely quiet and very safe. This end of the island is much quieter than closer to town but it's a very quick drive to any restaurants or anything you need. Highly recommend this property. "

"Really awesome vacation home
We loved License to Chill. It was just beautiful. Great location and near the beach. The pool was perfect and really added to our vacation. The kitchen was FULLY stocked and the place was very clean when we arrived. It's a little wonky to find as you have to drive thru the RV park to get to the home. Fantastic view of gulf. Hardly any negatives to report. The elevator was on the fritz a few times. Once we got used to operating it, it seemed to work ok. This was my first visit to Port Aransas and we loved it. The water was warm and clean and my entire family loved the waves."

"Wonderful Family Vacation Property
This is a wonderful family vacation property located right on the beach. The house was very clean and equipped with everything a large group could need. The pool was also a huge asset especially in the afternoon when the beach got too hot. The only thing to be aware of is that if you are renting a golf cart only specific companies can bring them into the Gulf Waters subdivision so double check first. Port A Escapes had an easy check in and check out process and accommodated a late check in easily. We would recommend this for any large groups or families and would definitely rent it again ourselves. "

This was a wonderful location for our entire family to enjoy! The only issue we had was that the elevator was broken. We were notified of the problem before we arrived and were given another option if we wanted to change locations. We opted to remain in this house and it all worked out fine. We hosted a family weekend and had a very nice time! Buyer beware, The property management company is very unprofessional. They literally called us at 12 noon to let us know we need a shot records for our dogs. We believed that that would be something very easy to put in one of the six or seven emails that we got from the time we booked until the day we planned to visit. Prior to our arrival, Port A Escapes, the property manager, was very responsive to our questions. Easy check-in and even easier check-out via mobile app. The house, including kitchen, was well maintained, very clean, and very well appointed and stocked. Wonderful ocean views. "Wonderful Beach House
License to Chill GW105 is a great house in a beautiful location. we had 10 adults and 2 kids, we stayed 6 nights everyone had a great time. Only a couple of issues 1. the Ice Maker in the kitchen fridge is a mess turns ice bin into a block of ice. 2. Double Queen bedroom has a portable AC unit and the window it vents out of is not sealed very good and the wind blows right in not helping with the cooling. 3 Had a hard time getting the elevator to work, called the after hours number and they said they couldn't come till Monday, it was Friday Evening. so I flipped the circuit breaker and That fixed it. But a service guy showed up in about an hour. Wished they would have told me. Pretty minor stuff but its quite expensive rental property. Its a great house with a nice pool in a great place for large groups or families. Spent most of our days on the beach, and our evenings at the pool. Port Aransas was really crowded. so we cooked in a couple of nights the kitchen has all you need for cooking meals. The beach boardwalk is very close for morning walks, beach was crowded on the weekend, plenty of room on week days. This was our Second Stay at License To Chill and I would think we will be back!

"Beautiful Views
Enjoyed our four night stay at License to Chill. Wish there was a set of interior stairs to get to the first floor without having to use the elevator. Our group consisted of 13 adults and one infant. We couldn't get one of the TV's in the Master BR to work. The private pool was definitely worth our stay as we used it alot. I also felt the beach was less crowded. I would consider staying here again. "

"Amazing House, POOR MANAGEMENT
The house and location were incredible. No complaints there. However, on check-in day, we received a text that our house was ready early, so we checked out of our hotel and started heading that way. We then received a message that it was an error and we wouldn't be able to access our house with our toddler who desperately needed a nap so we were forced to drive around for several hours with no place to go. During our stay we put in a work order for the broken elevator and no one showed up before check-out so we had to carry all of our belongings down three flights of stairs. I mistakenly left clothing in the bedroom when we checked out. I've called 5 times and keep getting told they will check with housekeeping and call me back. I have not received any form of communication or updates. Port A Escapes was a poor management company, which is a shame, because the house and property are incredible. "

"Beautiful house and wonderful views
Beautiful house with wonderful views of the ocean. The main living area is on the upper level which provides unparalleled views of the ocean and beach. Unfortunately, we were there during incredibly cold weather and were unable to use the 3rd floor balcony or pool, but we look forward to staying again in the future as it is a great house for hosting a large group and for entertaining."

Absolutely wonderful property! Will book again! Next time I’ll bring trash bags and kitchen towels. There were only 3 bags for our stay, and no kitchen towels at all. However, the view alone makes up for the small stuff!"

"Birthday Weekend!
Our rental was amazing! We had a party of 14 and this house was everything we needed and more. We had beautiful views of the ocean on every floor. The elevator was a little tricky but we got the hang of it.I think that this will be our go to rental from now on."

"Sister's Memorial
The home was very nice and comfortable! We celebrated my sister's life, she passed away (9/28/20) ..., the home was great but it sure would of helped knowing there was an elevator upon arrival (after 10pm) owner Brenda (guessing) told us there was an elevator..., I wasn't looking for one! LOL! A sign over the "elevator door" would be helpful. Minor stuff, no toliet paper or towels, hair in the master bdrm shower and poor kitchen stuff (i.e. liquid soap, dish towels).., again minor stuff but for the $$ you'd expect these items to be there..., overall great home!"

License to Chill had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our annual Father's Day trip to the coast. The house was spotless, the kitchen fully stocked, there were games outside and plenty of pool toys! We did have a few problems with the elevator and had to reset the breaker but we eventually figured it out. "

"Amazing beachfront house
This is our 7th annual family vacation and we all agreed this was the best house yet. Lots of room and a gorgeous view. The pool kept the kids busy when we weren't at the beach. Well stocked kitchen. It took us a day to get figure out the elevator. The 2nd floor elevator door needs adjusting to stay tightly closed. Other than that easy fix, it was perfect."

"What a Great Place for a Wedding!!
License To Chill could not be set up any better for a small wedding celebration!! The downstairs outdoor COVERED patio was perfect for the ceremony. We had 44 chairs set up with plenty of room for all. The pool and dunes were a beautiful backdrop for the sunset wedding. The upstairs great room area was plenty big for the reception dinner and party. The large balcony provided extra room to enjoy the panoramic views of the Gulf. The elevator made wedding set up and moving guests a piece of cake. The house is decorated impeccably and has 6 bedrooms to help with housing guests. Parking was a little limited but we had guests park on the beach and easily shuttled them across the golf cart friendly boardwalk. We had a great weekend largely due to this fantastic property."

"Can you say PERFECT?
This home was perfect for our four generation gathering away from home for all. The home was beautiful, and exactly as advertised. We will definitely rent again in the future. Two nice-to-haves (safety wise) would be safety bars in the showers, and bars to hold onto getting in and out of the pool. This place is definitely a gem!"

"Family Getaway
Wonderful overall experience. Large beautiful home in impeccable condition. Beachfront. Kitchen is wonderfully equipped with dishes, plenty of cookware etc.. Pool at the home is also very nice. Small touches very sweet sunglasses for the little ones and beach toys. Park employees where the house is located are a little over the top. Stopped by everyday questioning our parking arrangements and trash disposal. Speed limit in park is 5mph and strictly enforced. "

"Fabulous pool!
The photos of this house do not do it justice, plus it now has a very large pool in the backyard. The house was definitely one of the best stocked home we have ever rented in Port A. TONS of serving platters, bowls, plates, coffee mugs, silverware. Everything you need for a house of this size.
My only recommendation would be to have instructions on the operation of the elevator, front door and cooktop. Maintenance was very responsive but renters shouldn't have to call to learn how to operate the cooktop. It is not intuitive and were a group of 12 women!
Guest should also be aware that the only way to get to the bottom level is via the elevator or to go outside and back through the garage. Not a reason to miss out on this fabulous home but something to be aware of.

"Wkd with family and friends
Had a great time, house is beautiful, management company is responsive. Had a few issues and they responded in a timely manner. Unfortunately it was a holiday weekend and getting the proper people there to fix our problems was an issue, but that's understandable. Otherwise, was a great stay and the pool was completed just before arrival - literally minutes before we arrived - so that was a bonus!! (They did not promise that it would be complete)"

We had an amazing time staying at License to Chill. The house was immaculate, and is so beautifully decorated. The view from the 3rd level is out of this world! The vacation home was amazing! Our entire family of 13 were together for the Thanksgiving week! The home was decorated beautiful, the kitchen fully equipped to even prepare a huge thanksgiving feast, the views were breathtaking looking out to the ocean! Overall an amazing experience. "AWESOME HOUSE!!!!!
Rented this house and was the first to do so as it is brand new. Has 6 rooms and beautiful kitchen and living room area that are open for entertainment with Ocean views. Only thing was everything stated that it had a gas grill and it does not so bring charcoal."
