Cancellation Policy – Cancellations are effective on the date written notice is received by email in our office. If a refund is applicable, refund payment will be processed within two weeks
of cancellation notice and will be in the form of US Check or refund to credit card account. The
following assessments will apply to cancellations: Cancellations made 31 days or more prior to
arrival date will result in loss of 20% of total booking amount. Cancellation 30 days or less prior
to arrival date will result in the forfeit of 100% of Total Rent. Your reservation will not be subject
to refund in case of cancellation due to Hurricane, or a natural disaster. We highly recommend
purchasing travel insurance to avoid losing your vacation investment due to unforeseen
cancellations.

"A Fun Time in Port A
We enjoyed Port A for a whole 7 days with family and friends. The house was spacious and the pool was great. The management company was responsive when we needed help. All in all, a great time was had by all! "

"Great House, Poor Execution – Disappointed at $3,500 for 4 Nights
We recently stayed at “Shore Having Fun” in Port Aransas. The house itself has a lot of potential—spacious layout, well-organized garage, and beds that are genuinely comfy. Once the A/C finally caught up, the place stayed ice-cold, which we loved.
Unfortunately, the basics fell short—and at this price point, that matters.
• Overwhelming odor & DIY cleaning: The moment we settled in, the main living areas (kitchen, living, and dining) had a strong, unpleasant smell. We ended up making a late-night run for floor cleaner and multi-surface spray, then wiped down counters, tables, and floors ourselves just to make the place livable. Not exactly how you want to spend vacation time.
• Dirty pool & grill: The pool was visibly dirty on arrival and the grill still had old charcoal and ash.
• Poor communication: We called during business hours about the pool but did not hear back until the next morning. When a cleaner finally showed up, it was unannounced. The same lack of heads-up applied to an unexpected early morning furniture delivery during our stay.
• Misleading “kiddie pool”: What looks like a hot tub in photos is really a shallow secondary pool with no jets or heat—be sure to read the fine print if a hot tub is on your wish list.
• Minimal supplies: Expect to bring your own toiletries, trash bags, and basic kitchen storage containers.
For nearly $3,500 for four nights, we’ve had better experiences elsewhere in Port A for less. Until the owners step up cleanliness standards and communication, this property lands at ⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5 from us. It could be fantastic with tighter management, but right now you’re paying luxury prices for a DIY experience."

"Shore had fun at Shore Havin Fun!
House was fantastic!! Plenty of room for two familes 4 adults, 4 teenage adults, 3 kiddos and great grandma! Everyone had space, great layout and the private pool was a hit, definite must have! House was very clean, fully stocked with anything and everything we forgot and in a great location! Super friendly and super helpful property management, definitely will use again in the future! "

"Shore Havin Fun
Rental was clean and comfortable. All bathroom sinks leaked, and maintenance did not correct the problem, even after several requests. We used towels on the counter to soak up water for the duration of the stay."
