You will be able to enjoy the cruise ships docked in the bay from the lanai. There is Air Conditioning to help cool off from the tropical sunshine after your Hawaii excursions. The property is equipped to make it easy for beach adventures with plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, noodles, coolers and more. The Kona Shores condominium complex has an ocean-front pool with a cabana, two bathrooms and a charcoal grill for barbecuing. It is the perfect location to hang out and soak up the Hawaii sun and watch the gorgeous Kona sunsets. You can possibly spot the famous 'Green Flash” at sunset as the sun sets behind the horizon. The Kona Shores is a popular location for visitors due to its close proximity to beaches and to the heart of Kailua-Kona with restaurants and shopping right along the water’s edge. Some of the activities you can find on the Kona Coast include beaches, luau’s, farmer’s markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing; just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. With so much to do this condo makes a perfect home base to relax after all of your vacation adventures or you can just have a relaxing day lounging by the pool. There are rent-able bikes available across the street from Kona Shores. There is an assigned parking space and laundry facilities that are compatible with the PayRange laundry facility app. No smoking, no pets. **All guests are required to sign a rental agreement with Property Management in addition to purchasing a Damage Protection Plan or providing a Security Deposit if they stay at this property. CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

I definitely would not stay here again. There was a roach infestation in the condo. We would turn on the lights and they would scatter. I did mention this to the property owners and they assured me they would take care of the problem. However, they also sent me a text asking that all negative comments go to them and not leave them in a review, so I could t help but think that there has been a roach problem for awhile, but people were giving the rental company the benefit of the doubt and not mentioning it. This infestation did not happen overnight. I definitely feel like it was bad enough it should be mentioned in a review to let other guests know. We did not even bring our suitcases in our house, we emptied them all outside and everything went straight to the washer. On another note, it is worth mentioning that this is not a hotel or resort, this is an apartment complex. So if you are expecting a resort feel to your trip, this is not it. Minus the roach problem, it would have been ok for a budget trip, but all things together, it was not." In Hawaii, it's respectful to take off your shoes before entering. You had no sign asking guests to do so (though I took the initiative and left my shoes outside). There also were rules about smoking on the property. Yet I repeatedly smelled a stinky cigar, even early morning from my lanai. Doesn't make for a good experience. When I entered, there was elevator music playing from the TV. Out of the 5 remotes, I had a tough time figuring out what shut off the sound. Does a guest really need 5 remotes, none of which seemed to control the TV? Please follow the KISS principle. There also was mold growing in the bathtub grout. They were super responsive to any questions we had and we would def rent this condo again!!!! We finally gave up and pulled the screen off the window and my wife was able to insert the key from the inside of the room door and open the front door.
