"Nice little getaway from the City
We spent a few days away from Los Angeles and stayed at this really cute log cabin. The location was amazing, so close to the lake and lots of fresh snow to play in. The cottage itself was nice and open with a really nice wrap around porch. The stay was comfortable and had a nice stocked kitchen to cook in. I put a four stars due to the place not being as kept up and clean as we were expecting. A few odds and ends like maintenance repair pieces (outlet fixtures, screws, etc) were out laying in the bathroom. Place looks like it needed a little more attention to cleaning and organizing. Besides that we had a really nice weekend away from the city."

"Disappointed
This cabin was described by the management company as rustic. It’s more old and tired. There were knobs missing off kitchen drawers, the quarter round on the bottom of the cabinets was not attached. The online pictures are deceiving. We contacted management by email our first night about using the tv and they responded immediately. The next morning we sent another email requesting assistance and never received any response. "

"Good Location, no real bedrooms.
You are paying for location. Cute home. The beds are very uncomfortable. Improper sheets on upstairs bed. Its 1 bedroom with no doors, has upstairs loft. Jacuzzi is nice, but you cant turn sown the heat. Great customer service. Had early check in and Late check out."

"Our favorite hideaway spot on the lake
Clean. Cute. Great for a secluded getaway! We enjoyed the hot tub looking out at the lake, loved the deck and the cabin is adorable. Feels vintage but has Theodore amenities of charm and comfort. "

"Cabin in woods with lake view from hot tub only way to go!!!!
Great cozy place. It’s a real cabin and had all amenity’s. I am from Texas and thought everyone had AC but at big bear not needed. It is a little warm in the day and it was cold in the evening. Cabin really did not need AC. Managment company was super helpful his name is Ken if I Rember correctly and was always available and easy to talk with. I would rent again.

"An absolute dream
It was more beautiful than I had imagined. The cabin is absolutely amazing, beautiful view from the patio, perfect location, my girlfriend and I had an extraordinary time, especially thanks to the comfort coziness and beauty of the cabin. Very well maintained. Hot tub with a beautiful view. Couldn’t have been more perfect "

"Do not rent: Pathetic rental agency, dangerous & risky cabins
DO NOT RENT THESE CABINS: I had reservation from at Lakefront Hideaway Cabin [39326, Aurora Road, Big Bear lake, CA]. This cabin had snow+ice on the driveway, stairs, patio, chairs, tabes, pathway everywhere - atleast a 12-15 inches snow which was not ploughed since the last snow in the area. Despite calling them thrice between and explaining our situation, we were just denied by RENA (picked up our call twice), quoting there's nothing to be done and the snow was ploughed out without even seeing the situation; and that someone would come - noone did. Only Carlyle who picked up the call 2nd time sent someone to have a look at the situation. The guy who came for maintenance to the cabin confirmed that snow was not ploughed out. This lady is so rude that she outright denied any help and rejected the fact that ploughing out snow could have been missed out. it was so risky and the outside area was hazardous and not usable. To top up:doors with broken locks, no soap/shampoo/conditioner/hand-soap in the toilet. When contacted: they say, “we think people come here to enjoy snow”."

"We had the best time of our lives!
The cabin is right on the lake. We extended our stay and if we didn't have to come back to work we would have stayed longer! If you are looking for peace and tranquility and still have plenty of activities available to do, I highly recommend renting a cabin from Big Bear Lake Front Cabins! If you need anything while you are there, the property management company responds immediately and takes care of your needs! This was the second time we rented from them and we will be going back again soon!"

"Rustic Cabin Weekend
I rented this cabin for a weekend in celebration of my boyfriend’s birthday. We liked that it was close to the lake (even though it was winter time). It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the water. The cabin itself is rustic (drafty windows and doors, wiggly stair handrail, cracked fiberglass shower) but we liked that our dog was welcome. The hot tub was lovely and the kitchen was clean and outfitted with cute, retro appliances. A couple easy things would have improved my rating. It would be easy to provide coffee pods, tea, creamer. Make sure the Sparkletts water cooler has water ( I mean since it is in the kitchen it would be nice to have water in it). But other than that the cabin was stocked with towels, comfy bed, Wi-Fi, and cable TV.
Check in was a little odd since we pulled up to a hot tub store. Nothing said vacation rentals. We had to call on the phone so someone could let us in. And even though I signed the rental agreement and had to sign that I read the rules online, I had to sign a hard copy again. They must have some rowdy guests.... Check out was easy as it was all done online.
If you come in winter, do bring chains for your car. The cabin is down a fairly short but steep hill. If it snows overnight you could be stuck. "

"Amazing cozy stay!
We stayed at this location for 3 nights and were completely impressed from the moment we walked in. The location is amazing. The house is right next to the lake and has a beautiful porch. Everything was great. I would recommend it again. "

"Billed Twice
Our vacation at Big Bear Lakefront Cabins was Oct. 24th - the 27th. On the 9th of Oct. I rcvd. a message from you stating that our check-in was 10/10/21. As it turned out, we were billed twice. $1061.79 on 9/7/21. Then again $212.36 on 9/21/21 and $849.43 on 09/27/21. (adding 212.36 + 849.43 = $1061.79) When we received our bill, I contacted Big Bear and spoke to Sierra who saw the error, but nothing was rectified. I contacted Discover, the card I used, explained the situation. They stated that they would contact you and told me to put my payment on the back burner. Now I am late and will be getting a large fee. I have been on the phone with them (Discover) day after day attempting to get this rectified to no avail. I have never been late on 'any' of my credit card bills. Ever! I am at a lose here and need help. "

"Come up for the view...
The cabin just works. The view is really nice. In this case, the pictures do this old cabin justice -- and that's not a good thing. It doesn't show the dust, dirt or lack of upkeep. The crazy shower. But other than that, the cabin worked for us. If you're a fisherman, forget about shore fishing from this destination due to lake weed growth. Rent a boat instead. Clearly, there is no sense of need to keep this cabin in good shape, since the view is so nice. The price, however, is too high for the condition of this cabin. "

"Great Location, Interior Needs Work
The cabin location is great. And the kitchen has nice appliances. The spa has a lovely view. And the property management company is great! However there are the following issues:
1. The living room furniture is shabby and worn 2. The rocking chair arm is broken 3. The TV is not mounted 4. The loft bed is only a box-spring and a mattress, with no frame 5. The only lighting in the loft is a floor lamp with no shade or on-off switch 6. The first floor bedroom has no door, only a curtain "
Sep 30, 2021 - Bonnie H., Burbank, CA
"Not a place I would recommend
We enjoyed the location. The place was dirty and not well maintained. Rotten pumpkin in the kitchen, mold in the bathroom. The bathroom baseboards had an inch of dirt .. Loose railing and nails sticking out of the deck. Could be a great place... but auugh. "
Sep 11, 2021 - Donna P., Simi , CA
"Needs a Lot of Work; Stay Elswhere
The cabin needs some serious TLC and we’ll look elsewhere next time in Big Bear. Owner did respond to comments about ancient grill and chairs, and those items were replaced but the old, rusty grill was left on the deck. Unsightly. Great view from the deck and dining room table but no access to the water for swimming. Spa was nice but not particularly easy to get in and out. Inside the carpet was threadbare in several places and, frankly, filthy. We didn’t walk barefoot inside and my socks were left black by the time I realized. Wore sandals rest of the time. Small shower was old and beyond rickety and tight for a 6’ man. No drawers in upstairs bedroom. Only full-sized beds. Pretty darn tight for two people so question whether it would really sleep four. Oven was dirty, probably because it isn’t self-cleaning. No bathmat was provided for a linoleum floor that was very slippery; we used one of their “clean up” towels on the floor. Bar of soap for bathroom sink but no soap dish. Go to Target. And glad we weren’t there in the winter because those windows won’t keep out cold. Good location in terms of the Village."
Aug 20, 2021 - Lilianne C., WEST HILLS, CA
"Great location! Updating is a must!
The overall experience was good. I cannot say great because there were several cooking items, utensils, drink glasses for water, iced tea, etc., missing from the kitchen. The cupboards are in need of upgrading and missing knobs on some of them. The carpet was in terrible shape with stains and a shag carpet (appearing to be dated 20 years) covering most of the stains. It looked as though it was the original carpet dated 20-30 years ago. The loft bed is where my daughter was sleeping however, it was extremely hot with no air conditioning. She slept 5 nights on the sofa. The 2 chairs in living room were comfortable however, one of them had a seat cushion that was slashed. Upon calling staff to explain items missing, they were quick to accommodate. The bbq pit had been overly used and probably 15 years old, with a hole in the the bottom of the pit where it was showing severe signs of being "worn out." The outdoor chairs were plastic with several being broken. Again, staff was there to quickly rectify the issues. I did enjoy my stay. I also understand that due to covid, the cabins have suffered much needed upkeep. I paid $3200 for 1 week stay for a cabin that sleeps 4. One would think the cabins would be up to par vs sub par for the amount paid. I think it was a bit overkill on the price. The pictures reflect better quality and may have been "filtered." Most likely, I will not come back. I will head to Tahoe next time. "

"We and our dog loved escaping the heat to Big Bear
We had a wonderful time in Big Bear. The cabin had a wonderful view. If your looking for a rustic experience this cabin fits the bill. It needs a little maintenance but over all it was a great place to stay. We recommend to anyone wanting a little escape from the heat."
Jul 14, 2021 - , Lake Havasu City, AZ
"Neglected property
Outside deck has lots of old dusty cobwebs 2 broken chairs 1 broken table and the bbq has a fist sized hole rusted through the bottom. There were 3 or 4 mismatched cheap working chairs and an old clear top plastic table as well that were usable. Inside the neglect continued with a rocking chair that comes apart when moved, stained, torn and missing flooring and the plastic shower stall has cracks and holes where the showerhead comes out as well as where the grab bars are located. When you open the window at the head of the weirdly short bed downstairs there are old cobwebs right at your head, I'm 5`10" and my feet hung over the edge of the bed if my head wasn't in the spiderwebs. There is no door to provide privacy in the downstairs bedroom and the bed fills up the space with only 1` of room on the sides to be able to sidle in to the bed or you have to crawl up from the foot. Mid afternoon was very hot downstairs and upstairs was a furnace during the day. The view, location, and the hot tub were great. Surrounding properties are all really nice. We will not stay again. "

"Great cabin to enjoy a quiet weekend
Located in quite place..inside was just like the pictures bit on the older side but good for the experience..kitchen came fully equipped..able to watch tv..wifi available..theres a steep hill on the way to the lake..going down to the lake was easy but coming back up was really hard on my elderly parents so keep that in mind..shower water pressure was low and hard to adjust water temperature..jacuzzi was nice clean and relaxing..cabin gets really HOT upstairs..but for the most part it was great for a relaxing weekend for our family"

"Great getaway spot!
Loved the location of the cabin! Right by the lake and local stores. It was so nice to have a fireplace when it’s cold outside. The hot tub was clean and perfect temperature! Very cute inside and matched the photos. "

"Great Location, but a so so cabin
The cabin location is amazing, you can walk to the lake, nice neighborhood. The cabin is small, exactly for a couple and 2 kids that can sleep together in the same bed. The downside is that the rooms don't have doors. The upstairs loft has one double bed but no side tables, no shelves or anything where to put clothes or small stuff. The kitchen knobs are loose and for sure the cabin needs a little love and care. "

"Little House on the Prairie Cabin
The condition of this rental is such that it should really be taken off as a rental until some improvements are made. There aren't even "true bedrooms" in this shack, it's a loft nobody taller than 5'8" can stand in and then a full bed shoved in downstairs with a curtain. The windows are drafty - we were freezing the first night due to the wind, the carpets are dirty, the makeshift shower which is cracked in places is smaller than a motorhome shower, the bathroom is more than old, the kitchen cabinets are falling apart, there is no dishwasher, honestly the list goes on. We were forced to bring the queen mattress from the loft to downstairs to accommodate our needs and also due to the broken downstairs bed we were advised of upon arrival. This unit has a range for rent in the $700 range I would NEVER pay that, honestly $300/night is too much. It would also be nice to have a path made to the jacuzzi intead of tromping thru the dirt. The deck is a joke, the outdooor furniture is horrible and the BBQ is from 1950 something. My husband and I made the best of it because we always have fun together but this is by far the worst accommodations we have EVER had. Tell "Peter" he needs to do some work before continuing to rent this. We usually rent through VRBO with great experiences, if this was a VRBO rental you would be crucified in your reviews and never get renters. Definitely time for some work and upgrades it's only fair to your patrons if you are going to continue to rent it."

"Lower than expectations
The cabin was nicely located near the lake, definitely very rustic especially in comparison to the surrounding more modern cabins. It was extremely hot in the cabin during our visit with poor ventilation. We were extremely disappointed that when we came, in the bathroom there was an empty soap container with 1/2 inch of completely watered down soap left in it. We called and asked to have a new bottle of soap dropped off, and were told they could not guarantee that someone could come that day or the following morning. Well, no one came at all and we never heard any follow up about it. For the exorbitant reservation taxes and cleaning fees, I was shocked to not even be provided soap in the bathroom. We will not be using this company for future rentals."

"Nice retreat, but disappointed by Lake
I chose this cabin because it said you could swim. I verified, on the phone, that it was a sandy beach with good swimming. I was told great swimming but there are some weeds you have to go through to get to the water. The beach was dirt, not sand. There was litter. The walk to it wasn’t far, but further than I thought, down an scrubby overgrown hill. The disappointment was the water. The weeds were in the water, and so much so, that swimming was not something I could do because of the overgrowth in the water was very unpleasant. The people in the cottage next door said even their kids didn’t like it and that it felt like seaweed. "

"Great stay
Cabin was cozy and comfortable. The hot tub had a great view of the lake, perfect for dusk and seeing the stars at night. Rooms do not have doors and shower is very small, but otherwise a fun and comfortable stay."

"Cozy Cabin Hideaway
My husband and I and our two small dogs visited Big Bear specifically to attend Octoberfest. My son and his wife visited with us that Saturday. We had a wonderful time. The cabin provided all the essentials as well as a great view of the lake. We had a lovely fire almost the whole time we were there. A very nice break."

The cabin was small and cozy, tucked away just up from the shore of Big Bear lake. Clean and well kept, our stay was extremely enjoyable."

"Cabin getaway
The picture don’t give an accurate representation of the cabin. The location is amazing. Quick 5 minute or under drive to the village. You get great views of the lake from the hot tube. The inside of the cabin are not quite as nice as the outside. The bathroom is horrible and the shower is very bad. The cabin was not as clean as we would have liked. For the price it is not worth it. IF you are looking for a rustic cabin this location fits the bill and is in a great location with view of lake, even at low levels."

"Just what we were looking for
Authentic little wood cabin in the woods near the lake. The stay, checking-in and check-out were hassle free. This cabin featured just what we needed, an authentic little wood cabin with a fireplace, full kitchen, a deck to sit out and relax and not to mention the hot tub outside which was clean, easy to use and an extra we weren’t really asking for but was great to have. Dinnerware, kitchen appliances, and cooking utensils already there and ready to use if needed. An overall pleseant experience and would recommend to anyone."

The cabin was very nice and cozy. The location was great. Recommendations: The downstairs mattress is shot and needs immediate replacement. The Wifi password did not work. You need to post an address sign near the road, the house number is impossible to see at night."

"Once wasnt enough
We wanted a retreat to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The cabin was rustic for sure, but I knew that reading the other reviews. I also add that they are correct in the fact you appreciate the rustic feel moments after arrival. We are planning another trip soon so get your reservation before we do, or maybe we will see tou there."

"Over all my stay was decent.
The location of the cabin was good, it would have been great if the lake was how it use to be a couple months ago, there weren't any fishes to catch in the lake at all. Which was kind of dissapointing. Good thing we weren't too far of a drive from other good fishing spots. The cabin was decently clean. A little too many spider webs and dust. One thing i did hate was the screen on the windows in the rooms were cracked from the bottom so every night and morning a lot of little mosquitos and other bugs would fly in and be on the bed and around the room. That was very uncomfortable. Another thing i wish they would have mentioned is that the bedrooms have no doors. Everything in the cabin was so open. The couches looked like they have not been cleaned in years, there was food in the in betweens of the couches. The shower was so tiny. But, the area was verly calm just the way i wanted it to be."

"A real DUMP - if you Spend the money, you'll be pissed-off!
From the time I pulled into the driveway, I was very dissapointed that my guests were soon going to see this. The Paint has all blistered & chipped off the place - the deck wood is all uneven & coming up because it has not been maintained - nails are sticking out of the patio wood from being warped - Inside: The kitchen floor is missing linoleum showing the bare rotten wood exposed... The lights in most places have no shades so they are just light bulbs with little pull chains - barren & cheap - ripped / torn makeshift curtains. In numerous places, there is evidence of cheapness / no maintenance - the owner is milking the place (location) because this is really a "Tear Down" to be sold for the land and the owner is just letting it rot until the land sells. If you can put up with that, it's Hot, Hot, Hot inside... Bring lots of fans... and bring your own pots & pans - this place is a real dump! Everything you see is falling apart or somehow 'jerry-rigged' in a super cheap way - CHEAP - CHEAP - CHEAP! But Very PRICEY!"

"Old fashioned CHARM with a VIEW!!
First impressions - this cabin appears a bit rundown and in dire need of TLC. Needs paint, carpet dirty, furniture old, lacking decor....HOWEVER, don’t be put off by first impressions! After an hour sitting on the porch enjoying the fabulous view of the lake and the sounds of nature, we forgot all of that and fell in love with this place! We began to truly enjoy the charm of the original 1940’s cabin; doors and windows that stick - just like Grandpa’s house in Tennessee, random little cubbyholes, wooden pegs everywhere (perfect places to hang wet towels).... This cabin has the BEST location! It was very quiet during our stay which was exactly what we were looking for. Other than the carpet, it was very clean. Microwave and stove and bathroom were spotless! Kitchen is stocked with the essentials. Bring paper plates! Also, it does get very warm in this cabin (more 1940’s charm...) Although several fans are provided, you might want to bring a couple more. The shower is tiny but the water is hot. Plenty of clean towels. The property managers were very responsive and accommodating. One thing we would ask for is nicer seating for the porch. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"Great time!
Cute small cabin with a view and short was to the water was a great place for a weekend getaway. Two couples were comfortable with one upstairs in the loft and the other in room downstairs with all 4 sharing bathroom. curtain on the bedroom and no door to loft so keep in mind everything is open. It is an old cabin and we had a link in the kitchen sink but to be expected for an old cabin. Great stay and also close to town/marina/restaurants. "

"Rustic Peaceful Get-away
Our little family of 4 enjoyed a peaceful weekend getaway in this rustic cabin by the lake. It reminded us of our family cottage on Lake Thompson in Maine. The view of the lake and deck are the best part. Our kids built a Fairy House on the wooded lot and fed the tame ducks. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the new “Retro” appliances. The Hospitality App was very useful for Check-In & Check-Out. The house does need some improvements...a coat of paint would really improve curb-side appeal. Also, the inside could use a few quaint decorations. The location is great! We enjoyed nearby restaurants and Summer sledding. Overall, we highly recommend and would stay there again. "

"UNFORGETTABLE
My little girl had been asking to go to big Bear since Christmas. And when we arrived at this cabin she was completelty and utterly in awe. She couldnt believe the cabin the lake the fireplace. My boyfriend and I also thought this was a great cabin it had every essential needed to have a great weekend. The only one thing we did not like was that the room in the attic got very HOT. But this was a dream. "

"Great View of the Lake, Rustic Cabin, Great Kitchen and Fireplace
Wonderful location with view of Lake and you can walk to the lake. Kitchen beautiful new stove and Refrigerator, fully stocked with all your kitchen needs. Carpet was in very poor condition and no need to keep your dog off the furniture as it can not hurt it. The Fireplace was awesome. The outside deck had limited old crummy patio set. The shower was embarrassing, needs to be replaced had holes in it that I am sure water is getting behind the walls. The bed was comfortable and soft, we brought our own pillows."

"Serene Cabin Peaceful Stay 4-26-17/ 4-29-17
This was my third stay at this beautiful cabin and everything was perfect. I love everything about it, from the location, the beautiful lake front view, and the cute retro kitchen. I feel so relaxed and peaceful when I stay here. Getting ready to book another stay for September and wouldn't stay anywhere else but here. The management is spectacular, and is always there to help. Thank you for a beautiful time. "

"I'll try to be thorough and fair.
I consider myself a clean person but not obsessively so and I enjoy the charm of quirky older places. That being said, I was immediately disappointed by the appearance of the cabin from the outside. The paint is peeling all over the cabin unless it doesn't have any at all. The stove and fridge are retro style but we're new and clean. Overall, the kitchen was clean. You should know however that there is no dishwasher. I don't mind hand washing dishes but I think because the management company manages multiple rentals that it seemed that there was. Speaking of dishes, no dishwasher is fine but they was no way to dry them except 1 roll of paper towels. No dish rack, no drying rack. I ended up using a handtowel from the bathroom which could be it's own brand of gross if I spend too much time on it. No trash bags are provided. The floorng is not in good shape at all-pet stains on rug, burns on carpet-from iron and other mystery burns, etc. The beds seemed clean. The couch cushions had just been flipped over from the previous guest (?) Who had allowed their pet on the furniture, I discovered this After I was wearing their pets fur all over my clothes. The leather chairs have head grease spots. The shower is about 3x3 and desperately needs replacing. One of the roof peaks is actually OSB and not the planks you'd anticipate. Cobwebs. Only a bbq spatula very few and not very good quality pots and pans. Minimal tools but plenty of flatware and dishes.
I actually liked that the windows were old and don't mind noticible electrical, mystery pipe in bathroom but you'd want to be careful with busy little ones. The towels are the cheapest of hotel towels.
Everything worked and there were no maintenance issues. It is in great proximity to the lake with a nice view through the trees and close to Pleasure Point Marina. A binder with tons of local information was in the cabin and very useful. "

"Starks mountain getaway
We really enjoyed our stay in Big Bear. The cabin was just steps to the lake and it was very quiet. The cabin itself was adequate, it just could use a little TLC. We definitely would love to stay again!"

"Great location!
Great location but very run down. Great living room with wifi and cable! Good kitchen but there were lots of ants. No air conditioning which we were told is nit an issue with a high of 80, but the higher elevation makes it feel like 90. The upstairs room got up to 110, we had a thermometer! Old creaky deck with a broken deck chair and table. There were not pics of the bathroom and now I know why... the shower is literally a RV shower installed as an afterthought in this bathroom. The shower head sprayed everywhere if turned on full spray. No doors on either bedroom. Clean but old and dirty, housekeeping can't fix old. Again it is a GREAT location, just wanted people aware of the pitfalls..."

"Family Friendly Getaway
This cabin was perfect for our family of four, our kids are 15 and 10 so basically adult sized and we had plenty of space. The cabin was clean and organized. The view of the lake was awesome and the location is so close to "town" we did not have to bring anything other than our clothes with us. "

"NOT WORTH IT
NASTY CABIN,EXPENSIVE COMPARING TO ANYTHING,DIRTY TOWELS, DISGUSTING SHOWER, THE BEDS HAD A LOT OF CAT/DOG HAIR EVEN I CLEARLY STATED MY HUSBAND WAS ALLERGIC BEFORE BOOKING, IT SEEMS LIKE THEY DONT CHANGE BEDDING AFTER PEOPLE STAY THERE AND INMEDIATLY RENT IT TO THE NEXT WITHOUT DOING ANY CLEANIG"

"Lakefront cabin
The cabin was very nice. The fridge and oven where beautiful. We cooked all our meals and the vintage style was amazing. Everything worked perfectly for us. Only one issue was the bed in the bottom needs to be replaced. "

"Cute cabin
We had a great time in Big Bear. We only had small issues with the house- there wasn't any extra linens/bedding. We spoke to the property manager and they said "there should be extras in the closet, my quality manager assured me there is." We knew exactly where they should be because the shelves were labeled "extra bedding." It just wasn't there. The management said they only had sheets they could bring us and that we should be fine. Needless to say we had to go buy blankets. So if you plan on visiting, be sure to bring extra blankets and towels. Besides having to provide our own blankets, we enjoyed sledding outside and spending time together. The loft was perfect for the kids and the "bedroom" was fine for my husband and I. Do note that the bedroom is not actually a bedroom-it's separated from the living room by a curtain and has no closet etc. it's more like a studio cabin with a loft. "

"Our vacation at Big Bear lake 2016
We had a wonderful time at the Lakefront cabin we rented, it was very clean and only about 50 yards from the waters edge. It was in a great location and only a mile or so from the village we which we loved as well. My wife and daughter loved all the little shops while me on the other hand just enjoyed sitting at Saucy Mommas pizza parlor watching sports and enjoying my beer. I was really happy that they had cable tv as well, was able to watch my Dodgers. Overall we were very satisfied and would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good and relaxing time."

"Vintage Cabin... Stepped Back in Time
Wonderful getaway. Adorable cabin, a diamond in the rough. Owners have made it comfortable with everything you could need (including wifi!), but also disconnect from the madness for a while. Only item to note is the coffee maker didn't work (we band-aided it by running hot water from the kettle through). Thank you much for a great family weekend!"

"Nice but needs some work for safety reasons
I loved the fact that the cabin was rustic. However, the deck floor on the porch has nails coming up through it and boards that are loose. We almost stepped on one of the nails. The railing on the porch was also not sturdy or safe as it moves. Though we liked the cabin there are some safety issues that need to be addressed especially if small children were going to be staying at this location. The coffee maker did not work at all though we tried to figure out what was wrong with it. We had to go to the store and buy instant to microwave to have coffee in the morning. Most of the other aspects of the cabin were adequate and there was a lot provided that we were not expecting. "

"Lakefront Hideaway Cabin
We LOVED our week in Big Bear. The cabin at first glance was a little rough, but we fell in love and will definitely be back. The view, weather, lake and town could not be a better get away!"

"Loved the rustic cabin!
The coffee pot does not work and the tea pot had mold in it. I reported this Saturday morning but no action was taken to remedy the problem."

"Peaceful, beautiful, quiet hideaway-
My fiance and I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. Our location was steps away from the lake where we caught a good amount of fish, private dock, nice grill and fire place and the whole cabin was fully stocked. It was very clean (I have very high standards and somewhat ocd and I can say it was clean!), though I did catch 4 spiders- what do you expect you're in the woods. Other than that, it was a little worn out but very cute and rustic cabin overall and we even had our parents come and visit. I have already highly recommended this place to friends and family. Well worth the money! "

"Great cabin for a ski getaway!
We really enjoyed this cabin for the weekend to ski at snow summit. It was close to the slopes and village. The description of the property was accurate as this cabin was cute and cozy. There is a wrap-around deck with nice lakefront views. Big Bear Lakefront cabins provided excellent customer service and were very friendly. The house was clean and ready to enjoy a great weekend in Big Bear! "

"Rustic Getaway
This cute place reminded me of my uncles cabin in upper Wisconsin. Has the basics. Nothing fancy. Bathroom is cold. Shower is small and the stall should be replaced. {possible water damage} The kitchen stove and fridge are retro. The cable TV didn't work and a tech couldn't come out due to holiday or weekend I guess, but I didn't care. We weren't there for that. 2 teens 2 adults. We played outside in the snow and had a great time. 1st time in Big Bear and I loved it!"

"the perfect little spot on the lake and close to the slopes!
This cabin was just as it was described! The perfect little family spot on the lake and still so close to it all. Loved the new retro stove/oven and the overall look. Cute, cozy, clean and rustic all in one!"
