The 100% cancellation loss can be avoided if: (1) Red Sky rental vacation insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation is a reason covered under the travel insurance; or (2) Brooks and Shorey Resorts can re-rent the unit for the full term of the original rental period, in which case the guest will be charged 10% of the total paid as rebooking fee. Prior to arrival, if a guest has to shorten their stay or change their unit, normal cancellation penalties may apply, whether they are insured or not. Refunds issued by Brooks and Shorey Resorts will be issued no more than 30 days after departure date of original stay. Refunds are payable to the guest within 30 days after the subsequent re-rent payment has cleared our account.

Upon arriving we were greeted in the office by a smile and informative Brooks & Shorey personnel. The condo was great and nicer than we expected. The space was clean except for some spider webs in a window or two (not a big deal but thought I'd mention it). The floors are nice and the kitchen was great. The condo is within walking distance to a few shops down the street. We're not sure if there were some electrical issues in this condo. The ceiling fan in 1st room on the right produced a burnt electrical motor smell the first day we were there, but it went away a little bit later. The lights in the living room sometimes flickered so we kept it off. All of the ceiling fans in the 3 bedrooms had a mind of their own. Sometimes the fan would just stop or the lights would come on in the middle of the night. We suspect these had timers (??). All in all the condo was nice, clean, & despite the electrical issues I would recommend others to stay here." We rented GD211 from Brooke & Shorey and it was awesome. 3Bedrooms-3Bath, beautifully furnished and very well stocked in the kitchen. I booked site unseen because I have used B&S several times and trust them totally! They had just gotten the property and did not have any pictures but by the next day I received pictures and a note saying if I wasn't happy to let them know. B&S stands behind their word & makes sure your stay is the best. Will ask for GD211 again next year!" Destin is close enough for more activities.I would definitely return to this property.I saw staff everyday doing cleaning. I was nervous about a condo stay as this was my first time but this turned out just great. Only complaint was the master bed was not at all comfortable for us. The kids liked their beds just fine.
