Does Purple Parrot really have the best pool in Perdido Key? If you enjoy a massive 5000 square foot, 150,000 gallon lagoon style pool with a waterfall and hot tub, you might think so! Maybe you should experience some float therapy in the pool or some soak therapy in the hot tub before you decide. Don't forget there is also a heated indoor pool, a soaking spa. a sauna. beach volleyball courts and a fitness room to enjoy, as well. This charming coastal village is just a few minutes away from Perdido Key's world class white sand beaches - maybe 5 minutes at the most to reach a beautiful public beach access. Johnson's Beach is almost another minute away, with 8 miles of pristine beach on both the Gulf side and the Intracoastal Waterway side of the island. There are also rest rooms, showers, seasonal lifeguards, park rangers, pavilions, grilling areas and lots of parking for the convenience of visitors to this paradise, also known as Gulf Islands National Seashore Park.
Perdido Key's world class beaches are the number one amenity guests enjoy, but Perdido Key's local waterways are impressive. This area is known as a Boater's Paradise and PKRM wants guests to enjoy the natural beauty from the water's perspective. That is why guests are offered local excursions like deep sea fishing, a dolphin cruise or a sunset cruise, all compliments of PKRM via the Xplorie app and the exclusive Perdido Keys To Fun Program. If a guest prefers their fun on land, PKRM offers golf at Lost Key Golf Course or Soldiers Creek Golf Course, tickets to OWA Amusement Park (think rollercoasters) or even a game of mini golf. Sandcastle Key in Perdido Key is the kind of place that turns vacations into cherished memories. This 3 bedroom / 2 .5 bath coastal cottage is charming and has a location very convenient to the resort's amenities. The interior is well appointed and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is new and was just updated with a clean, modern look. The farmhouse sink, cabinets and countertops add to the appeal of this charming cottage. It is fully equipped, including a handy washer and dryer combo), in case guests wish to prepare meals or snacks at the cottage, and of course there is a drip coffee maker, because drinking coffee in the morning on a Purple Parrot porch is a must. There is a nearby grilling area if you crave burgers, steaks or fresh grilled seafood from one of our local seafood markets.
The tasteful primary bedroom offers a comfortable King sized bed. This bedroom is en-suite with a new, beautiful custom tile shower. The guest bath is also newly updated and offers a brand new custom tiled shower. This bathroom serves the 2 guest rooms. One guest room offers a King sized bed and offers a private balcony with a pool view and the bunk room has a full over full sized bunk. The private balconies off the guest bedroom are perfect for sipping coffee in the morning and watching this picturesque resort village wake up.
