This beach community has a charming, laid back vibe that many prefer to the hustle bustle of some nearby communities. Purple Parrot is a popular resort with a secluded feel, offering charming coastal architecture. Purple Parrot has the premium amenities of much more expensive resorts - lagoon style pool, hot tub, indoor pool, soaking spa, fitness room, sauna, beach volleyball, snack bar and the one and only Parrot Tiki Bar. Public Beach Accesses and Gulf Islands National Seashore are just a few minutes away from the resort's front gate. Johnson's Beach has plenty of parking, restrooms, seasonal life guards, rangers, and 8 miles of pristine coastline on both the gulf and the Intracoastal Waterway. The beautiful waterways are the reason Perdido is known as a boater's paradise. Guests of PKRM are encouraged to take advantage of complimentary local adventures like deep sea fishing, dolphin cruising or sunset cruising, where you can experience the beauty of Perdido Key from the water. There is also complimentary golf at nearby Lost Key Golf Course or tickets to OWA Amusement Park. There's lots to enjoy in Perdido Key, but even more shopping, dining and attractions await in nearby Orange Beach or Downtown Pensacola.
The first thing a guest will notice in Sandy Toes Bungalow is the beautiful renovation to the kitchen and bathrooms. The light, bright kitchen has fresh paint in a designer color, white cabinets, new appliances, quartz countertops and a ceramic tiled backsplash in a soothing, cool blue ceramic tile. This kitchen is fully equipped to prepare snacks and meals and there are charcoal grills for guest use scattered throughout the resort grounds. The living area is welcoming and comfortable and offers a large TV for streaming favorite shows and playing games. The wi fi is free so if you absolutely have to do a bit of work while you are here, no worries! There is also a washer and dryer provided, and a half bath downstairs for convenience.
The front porch and primary bedroom balcony faces West a great place to enjoy a frosty beverage and watch the sky turn colors in the evenings. The balconies off the upstairs guest bedrooms both have pool views and they are a great place to watch the village wake up in the morning, as you sip your coffee. You may even see the Blue Angels fly over on practice days! Upstairs, you will find a primary bedroom that is en-suite with a tub for soaking and a separate shower. The primary suite offers a comfy Queen sized bed and is tastefully furnished. 2 guestrooms are also located upstairs. Guestroom 1 also offers a Queen sized bed and Guestroom 2 offers a twin over a full bunk bed. This unit comfortably sleeps 7, so it's a perfect vacay getaway to enjoy a family friendly vacation and make terrific vacation memories. Book early to ensure you snag your most desired dates.
