Johnson Beach - Gulf Islands National Seashore is a treasure with 8 miles of pristine, undeveloped beach. There is also a community playground and a ADA approved Kids Park close-by. There is a public kayak launch right on River Road. Being right in between Orange Beach and Downtown Pensacola, it's just a short drive to many restaurants, shopping and attractions like the NAS Naval Aviation Museum.
