Welcome to Pali Ke Kua 131 & 132, a unique two-unit lock-off retreat offering the perfect combination of comfort, flexible living space, and breathtaking North Shore views! When rented together, these adjoining accommodations provide an ideal setup for couples traveling together, extended families, or small groups seeking extra space and privacy while enjoying all that Kauai has to offer.

Both the 1 bedroom condo and studio apartment are filled with natural light and refreshing ocean breezes, with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and iconic Bali Hai mountain peak from both the living spaces and the two garden-level private lanais. These combined accommodations feature comfortable sleeping and living spaces, a full chef's kitchen, and an additional kitchenette, giving your group plenty of room to relax and the flexibility to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner in. Whether you're gathering for a meal, enjoying a quiet afternoon, or spreading out after a day of island adventures, you'll appreciate having the extra space and separate living areas.

Each unit offers its own unique appeal. Pali Ke Kua 132 is an inviting, airy one-bedroom layout with open concept living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious private lanai. Next door Pali Ke Kua 131 offers a charming studio layout with a combined living and sleeping area, a convenient kitchenette, and its own large private lanai. Both lanais open onto the beautifully manicured grassy grounds, making them wonderful spots for morning coffee, al fresco dining, or simply taking in the spectacular ocean views. Keep an eye out for the resident nene geese, colorful ocean sunsets, and migrating whales breaching offshore during the winter months!

For a true staycation experience, the Pali Ke Kua complex offers a crystal-clear heated swimming pool, hot tub, and clubhouse with onsite bathrooms. Plenty of sun loungers are scattered around the pool deck, making it easy to spend a relaxing afternoon soaking up the Hawaiian sunshine. The beautifully maintained grounds also feature breathtaking views of the Pacific crashing against the bluffs from nearly every corner, the perfect backdrop for a leisurely walkabout.

When you're ready to explore, you'll find plenty to enjoy right in the neighborhood. The nationally ranked Makai Golf Course is just next door, putting you only minutes away from the greens. A shady, paved path leads down to secluded Hideaway Beach, where you can spend an afternoon relaxing on the golden sand away from the crowds of Hanalei Bay. Hideaway Pizza Pub, located within the complex, serves delicious pizza (we recommend the Rooster Pizza), salads, and drinks at its full bar. You're also just a short walk from the 1 Hotel, where you can enjoy upscale dining and spa experiences, accessible via the popular Princeville Green Belt walking path. The Princeville Shopping Center is only a few minutes away by car and offers a full grocery store, casual dining, souvenir boutiques, and kiosks for booking boat and helicopter adventures.

For even more island exploration, the charming town of Hanalei is just a 10-minute drive away, along with the stunning beaches and calm waters of Hanalei Bay. Limahuli Garden, approximately 30 minutes away by car, offers spectacular scenery and an opportunity to learn about Hawaii's native plants and cultural history.

If you're planning any excursions to the East Side or South Shore, be sure to allow plenty of travel time. The East Side, where the airport is located, is approximately 50 minutes away, while the South Shore is about a 75-minute drive.

Air Conditioning: Both units offer portable air conditioning. Pali Ke Kua 131 has a portable A/C unit in the studio's combined living and sleeping area, while Pali Ke Kua 132 has a portable A/C unit in the bedroom. The remaining living areas are not air-conditioned.

Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.
