One of the newest additions to our portfolio, Pali Ke Kua 131 is a charming, well-maintained studio apartment that's perfect for couples or traveling duos! The combination living and bedroom are air-conditioned (one free-standing portable room unit) for your comfort, and have excellent views out to the Pacific, and of the looming Bali Hai mountain peak across the bay. There's also a small-but-mighty kitchenette with everything you might need to fix an easy meal or beach picnic. If you'd prefer to stay in and enjoy the space, your large private lanai is the ideal spot for watching the nene geese come and go, taking in an ocean sunset, or trying to spot whales breaching in the distance during winter months!

For a real staycation vibe, the pool and clubhouse at the Pali Ke Kua complex will be your hangout spot. Featuring a crystal clear heated pool, hot tub, clubhouse with onsite bathrooms, and plenty of sun loungers scattered around the deck, you may not ever want to venture out of the complex! The beautifully manicured complex grounds also offer stunning views of the Pacific Ocean crashing against the bluffs, and your private lanai leads right onto the grassy grounds for easy strolling.

If you do want to venture out and explore the island, you'll have no shortage of opportunities in the neighborhood at Pali Ke Kua! The nationally ranked Makai Golf Course is literally right next door, and you can be out the door and on the green, club in hand, in a matter of minutes. You can also take the shady, paved path down to Hideaway Beach for an afternoon spent lounging on the golden sand, away from the crowds of Hanalei Bay. Hideaway Pizza Pub is the complex's on-site restaurant, and features a full bar, delicious salads, and some of the best pizza around (try the Rooster Pizza, you won't regret it)! You're also just a 5 minute walk away from the 1 Hotel, which offers dining and upscale spa experiences, and can be accessed via the Princeville Green Belt (a paved walking path that's popular for morning strolls!). The Princeville Shopping Center is also just a few minutes down the road (30 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by car), and has a full grocery store, casual dining options, and cute souvenir boutiques. You can also book boat and helicopter excursions at several kiosks in the Shopping Center!

If your appetite for exploration still isn't satisfied, the quaint town of Hanalei is just a 10-minute drive away, as are the stunning beaches and calm waters of Hanalei Bay. For a deeper connection to Hawaiian culture, a visit to Limahuli Gardens (30 minutes by car) offers spectacular views and an educational experience on native plants and the island’s history. For excursions on the East Side or South Shore, be sure to budget your time accordingly. Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 50 minutes, and to the South Shore is about 75 minutes.
