We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). However, the cabin needs a very good dusting throughout. We also arrived after 6 PM and there was no hot water anywhere in the cabin. With this, it tells me that it was clean without any hot water the day of. They were able to fix the hot water and a timely manner which we appreciated. However, the pool was cold so we had to have them come in and fix that and the hot tub was also out of order and they had to fix this. We also reported the fire pit not working and was given direction, but it still did not work and Maintenance was not able to fix that so we did not have a working fire pit. The maintenance team was extremely friendly, however, when we did call in to report the issues, they seem more frustrated that there was problems, then actually being sympathetic to our concern." The grill and fire pit was nice to have. We had a couple times where we talked about where things we feel could’ve been better. Generally, the cabin was lacking in the bed department. The extra pillows were pretty gross. They were yellow stained and flat. The futon needs maybe a mattress pad or something to go on it, and clean sheets- the mattress protector on it caught our attention needing to be washed. The master bed was fine- not impressive not disappointing. The bathroom sink hardly drains. Not exactly sure if the TVs were terrible or the WIFI was terrible. Maybe a little of both. We almost fell several times getting in the hot tub because the entrance for it was on the sloped lounging area, not a flat surface- it needs turned around. I would just expect more from these small areas for paying almost $900 for a weekend stay at a place." The bathroom has toothpaste splatters everywhere. The pool also has some issues while we were there. We reported it and a pool tech was sent about 16 hours later. I did have to speak with customer service several times and they weren't the friendliest and I felt my questions were interrupted their coffee break. At checkout we were told we could text, which we need, and it was never acknowledged that we even checked out. We did have a nice vacation and enjoyed our stay but we'll definitely stay with a different resort next time. The comforter and shams on the bed were so gross and have never been washed. Stains and brown from not being washed. It made me feel gross. I picked this place for the pool and washer and dryer, both were a disappointment. We could not wash our clothes and air dry them because maintenance unplugged the whole unit. Cleaning crew was rushed cleaning this unit. It was obviously. I have pictures I can share! I have never asked for a refund but I think fair would be to refund me some of the money paid for our inconvenience. The A/C in the living room could not keep up. It stayed 77-79 degrees. The bed was not comfortable and worn down on the sides. The sheets would not stay on due to popping off. I had to call maintenance out 2 times." We tried to go for a walk, but saw a black bear walking towards us so we turned around. But the kids were so amazed and excited to see that up close. The location of the rental is perfect! It’s right between the strip and the entertainment. Finally, I love that the owner was great with communication. When I had a question regarding the pool alarm they replied INSTANTLY! Very Satisfied. We were shocked to find these types of cabins. Knowing very little and apprehensive we booked the Wanderlust. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Everything was amazing including the location. We had such an time that we are seriously considering coming back again next year. The only things we wish we could’ve used was the downstairs tv and fire pit. " May 27, 2025 - Maria F., Woodbury Heights, NJ "Bat infestation, rude/unreachable management On Easter morning we discovered a bat hanging above where our children had slept and pooping on our young children’s bed. We reached out to customer service who sent a maintenance man to shoo it out with a towel. Our pediatrician, our pcps, the later er dr, and now the health department who have had to give us all 4 doses of the rabies vaccine each said that if you sleep with a bat, there is literally no way to tell if you have been bitten or scratched. Bats are purposefully gentle, as a survival adaptation, and rabies is 100% fatal. The proper protocol would have been for maintenance to catch and test the bat, according to our drs. We have spent over 2k on er trips, lost work/school time, and all the customer service (who still will not connect us directly to management) said was that despite our medical documentation and drs words, we were “not attacked “ and they will only refund 500 (and they put us in a cheaper cabin for the last night), which is not even the cost of our stay. We are having a lawyer contact, but stay far away. We heard more squeaking above the lights after the maintenance man left, not to mention the broken pool tv and centipedes that seemed to pour out of the waterfall. These people only care about money, think they know more than drs, and are likely still putting people in danger. The pool and jacuzzi were warm and inviting. The tabletop arcade game and dart board that were enjoyed. The bed was comfortable. We had a short drive to a small Publix for drinks and coffee. Restaurants and attractions were so convenient to our cabin. The community was well cared for and quiet. Upon arrival, the pool water was not warm for one and a half days, the gas fire pit outside on the porch, lower porch next to the hot tub. There were no definitive instructions as to how to turn on the fire pit or to pull off the door, closing the fire pit to turn the dial for the timer the instructions were not sufficient, the next day, a power outage happened there were no directions on how to carefully and safely reset the breaker for the hot tub so we had to wait till the next day to use, randomly and as per the Elk Springs Resort Customer Service (#145773) drained halfway and the pump shut off and we had to wait for maintenance to come to fix it to fill it back up and could not use it for a day and a half, the last several hours of our night, we lost all access to all water no showers no laundry no reason why just the only cabin on the property to lose and shut off water with a promise to have maintenance. Come within four hours., thank goodness I have my own Netflix and Hulu accounts because there were no sufficient directions as to how to comfortably turn on and or watch the TVs provided, in addition to the instructions to use the TV. The fireplace mounted on the wall. Inside of the cabin was rather difficult to figure out how to operate as well as there are 45 different remote controls with no labels., finally after long dreadful days in another state coming back to sleep on a king size mattress that was beyond discomfort and raggedy dipped in my nine year-old child’s body made an impression on this horrible bed that sounded like it was going to fall apart and had been slept on for hundreds of years and in addition to waking up with back pain from both myself and my child who does not complain about back pain, but should possibly consider changing the mattress every few days for people ..... I will not be recommending this particular cabin at elk Springs resort for anyone I know... also the drive to the property was dangerous & not well lit and caused" Feb 23, 2025 - Teresa H., Tonawanda, NY "Could have been better My experience was terrible. The main reason I got this cabin was because of the pool and hot tub. Upon arrival the hot tub was not ready. However, it did end up getting fixed and was able to be used the following stay. I did find sand at the bottom of the hot tub and I was told maybe it was from cleaning. Then the pool was dirty with a nasty dirt ring around the pool. Because I realized it the night before check out, I was not compensated because I should have reported it upon arrival. I agree with it but the water was cool so I wasn’t interested at the time meaning I didn’t pay close attention. I was compensated for one night of the hot tub not working properly. The view from the cabin was absolutely beautiful, and we appreciated the peaceful surroundings. The location was perfect, offering both privacy and easy access to local attractions. The staff at the resort were friendly and professional, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and stress-free. We especially enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and the hot tub on the deck! Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, and we would definitely consider returning." Our only view was 14 other cabins and the road. The pool room was wonderful, but needs curtains. We did not like the feeling of being on a stage (to those 14 cabins) when we were there at night. This cabin could have been anywhere as there was no view of the mountains. It was quite disappointing and so not worth the money we paid. We were quite happy to pay for a mountain cabin, but this was not one. This cabin would be good for a family as it is easy to get to anything in Pigeon Forge. It is a one bedroom cabin, but there is a sofa bed that could be used by 2 small children or one larger child. There is a foosball, an arcade game, and an electronic dart board. The pool is small but very nice. There are two fenced in decks. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. We did pay the cleaning fee, so we were not happy to have the cleaner leave an envelope to get a tip. The bed is a King size and was pretty comfortable, but new pillows are needed. The kitchen has everything you could want to have. The cabin is pretty. Lounge chairs in the pool room would be nice to have. The pool room is the highlight of this cabin, so being able to relax there would be terrific. If this cabin were actually in a good part of the mountains than this would be a good review. I realize that you cannot move the cabin, so, instead, you need to tell people that this is not recommended for a romantic couple's get away. I really do feel that, based on the money we spent and the long trip to get there and back home, that we did not get good value and we certainly did not get the weekend away we planned." The hot tub and pool were nice. The location was convenient to the park and both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The negatives were that Elk Springs will not turn the pool heater past 84. The water was still cold. I enjoyed it but my girlfriend would not get in because it was so cold. They have ab obnoxious door alarm on the pool room room door. It's so loud and goes off every time you go in. Considering the second bathroom is down stairs, if you wake up early you can't go use the downstairs bathroom because it will wake up anyone still sleeping. Really annoying and unnecessary. The door already has a keypad lock. The other thing is the photos of the cabin make it seem a little more remote and you have a better view. You are in the middle of a large development with neighbors on either side. There isn't really much privacy. " Jul 05, 2024 - , MISHAWAKA, IN "Mixed feelings: beautiful location and home, but has its hidden p 2 hours before arrival we called Elk Springs after not hearing is the cabin was ready, which was after 3pm. The cabin was not ready when we arrived 3 hours after check in. Upon unpacking, there was no available kitchen storage for any food. I was forced to use counterspace and kitchen table for the dry goods we brought. After the 2nd day, I woke up to find the countertop covered in ants, along with our food, bags, my sons medicines, etc. I called and requested ant spray and also a propane tank replacement for the fire table we couldn't get to work. Later when the maintained man came, we found out the fire pit table has a trick you have to do to use it, but we could have never known that or gotten to use it without having someone come out to see. We planned to use Wednesday evening until Friday check out to soak up the cabin amenities, play in the pool, and just relax at the cabin. We returned Wednesday evening to find the pool half empty and waterfall off. I called and maintenence came out and refilled it, and informed me they shut the waterfall off because there was a leak in it and that tomorrow (thursday) someone will be out to try to fix the leak. My husband and I were both now upset because we had planned to stay at the cabin the last day and a half using the pool. Additionally, our pool temperature was now cold because of being refilled and warm water came from the waterfall. My husband called to complain and request an early check out on Wednesday night because of unavailable pool amenities and was denied.
