Hilo Lagoon Centre is a mid-century modern building in downtown Hilo, Hawaii Island. We have recently remodeled our condo unit 421 to give it an updated modern feel. All new furniture and nicely decorated with theme of Aloha. The kitchen counter has 4 stools. Enjoy the sweeping views of Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea mountains and the vibrant downtown area in this mountain side of the building. Inside you have two suites flanking the main living area with kitchen. It’s a perfect fit for business or leisure. One bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a two twin beds and ensuite bathroom. The entire condo is air conditioned with three thermostats and air handlers (one in each bedroom, plus the living room). There is a fully equipped kitchen with stove/range, microwave, full size refrigerator, toaster, and plenty of plates etc. for 4 guests. There are also three small balconies to dine al-fresco and enjoy the view. There is one dedicated parking space, elevator, and outdoor condo pool. Hilo is a historical town with a growing number of restaurants, shops, art galleries and a world famous farmers market. 6. CANCELLATION POLICY (not applicable to Hale Kai Suites. See section f, below): To offer you the best services possible, we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. Guest shall inform Agent in writing of Guest’s intention to cancel the reservation. (For reservations made through third parties, additional cancellation policies may apply.) The cancellation policy is as follows:
a. If Cancellation notice is received thirty or more days (30+) prior to the check-in date, a cancellation fee of $75.00 will be retained and the balance will be refunded within 7 days from receipt of written cancellation.
b. If Cancellation notice is received less than thirty days but at least fifteen days (15-29) prior to the check-in date, fifty percent (50%) of the booking amount of rent and taxes will be forfeited. Half of the rent, tax, security deposit or damage waiver and any pre-collected cleaning fees will be refunded within 7 days from receipt of written cancellation.
c. NO REFUNDS if cancelled within 14 days of arrival (0 – 14). As a courtesy to our Guest, if Agent can rebook any portion of the canceled reservation, Guest will be refunded to the extent that Agent is able to re-book the Property.
d. This loss can be avoided if Travel Protection Insurance was purchased and the reason for cancelation is covered under the travel insurance policy. All reservation changes must be acknowledged in writing.
e. Owner/Agent Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event that the Property becomes unavailable for any part of the tenancy for reasons beyond the control of the Agent, including but not limited to the sale of the property, Owner and/or Agent may cancel this Agreement and refund in full to the Guest all payments made. Agent will assist in procuring similar alternative accommodation should this situation arise. Guest agrees that any claims against Owner/Agent arising out of performance or
non-performance under this agreement shall be limited to a full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Guest.
f. Hale Kai Suites Cancellation Policy: The guest may cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival. The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival. No $75 cancellation fee charged on Hale Kai Suites cancellations.
