Kick back at Lay Back Larry's our Brennecke Beach bungalow which we remodeled in 2025 for optimum style and comfort. Walk to the beach then come lay back at Larry's. The relaxed living room looks out toward the beach and is positioned in the middle of the house. Enjoy the flat screen TV and free WiFi for entertainment. Three corners host the three bedrooms, each with an ensuite full bathroom. We remodeled the kitchen with wide counters and a large island to convene around. We host up to six guests. Two bedrooms have a king sized bed an ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom has two double beds. Two of the bathrooms have walk-in tiled showers and the third is a bathtub /shower combo. There is also a convenient outdoor shower for rinsing off when you get back from the beach. Our favorite feature of the house is the wrap around, covered lanai. Relax or dine outside while listening to the waves off the is Kauai paradise! Kauai Island, aka the Garden Isle, is lush with rainforests, valleys, and waterfalls. Explore day hiking on the Napali Coast. Taste Kauai grown coffee at the largest coffee farm in Hawaii. Savor salt from the famed Hanapepe salt ponds. Giggle at the myriad roosters and hens -where is the funniest place you find them? And of course, bask in the sun on Kauai's many beaches including Brennecke Beach just a few steps from your back door. Lay Back Larry's is a State regulated Kauai vacation rental in the visitor destination area.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY (not applicable to Hale Kai Suites. See section f, below): To offer you the best services possible, we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. Guest shall inform Agent in writing of Guest’s intention to cancel the reservation. (For reservations made through third parties, additional cancellation policies may apply.) The cancellation policy is as follows:
a. If Cancellation notice is received thirty or more days (30+) prior to the check-in date, a cancellation fee of $75.00 will be retained and the balance will be refunded within 7 days from receipt of written cancellation.
b. If Cancellation notice is received less than thirty days but at least fifteen days (15-29) prior to the check-in date, fifty percent (50%) of the booking amount of rent and taxes will be forfeited. Half of the rent, tax, security deposit or damage waiver and any pre-collected cleaning fees will be refunded within 7 days from receipt of written cancellation.
c. NO REFUNDS if cancelled within 14 days of arrival (0 – 14). As a courtesy to our Guest, if Agent can rebook any portion of the canceled reservation, Guest will be refunded to the extent that Agent is able to re-book the Property.
d. This loss can be avoided if Travel Protection Insurance was purchased and the reason for cancelation is covered under the travel insurance policy. All reservation changes must be acknowledged in writing.
e. Owner/Agent Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event that the Property becomes unavailable for any part of the tenancy for reasons beyond the control of the Agent, including but not limited to the sale of the property, Owner and/or Agent may cancel this Agreement and refund in full to the Guest all payments made. Agent will assist in procuring similar alternative accommodation should this situation arise. Guest agrees that any claims against Owner/Agent arising out of performance or
non-performance under this agreement shall be limited to a full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Guest.
f. Hale Kai Suites Cancellation Policy: The guest may cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival. The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival. No $75 cancellation fee charged on Hale Kai Suites cancellations.
