Alii Kai 2201 is a chic and cozy open concept escape in the heart of all the North Shore has to offer! The peaceful and private corner unit has two light-filled bedrooms, a master suite with king bed and guest bedroom with a queen, comfortably furnished living and dining areas, and a wonderfully appointed kitchen. The living room couch pulls out to a Queen sized sofa sleeper. There's also a private wraparound lanai where you can enjoy views of the ocean peeking out from one side, and the waterfall speckled mountains from the other. Truly the best of both worlds!
You're perfectly situated to explore the island hotspots at Alii Kai 2201. Anini Beach is just 15 minutes away and has crystal clear waters that are perfect for snorkeling! You might also catch a glimpse of a Hawaiian green sea turtle while you're there. Hanalei Bay is also just 15 minutes away, and has beautiful golden sand beaches with calm waters perfect for all ages of swimmers. The charming Hanalei town is right nearby, and has a variety of boutiques and delicious restaurants and cafes for all your shopping and dining needs. If you want a break from the crowds, we recommend heading to Kilauea, just 20 minutes down the road, to check out the iconic lighthouse and wildlife preserve. If you prefer sticking a bit closer to home, the Princeville shopping center is just a mile away, and has plenty of options for shopping and grabbing tasty bites, as well as the Foodland grocery store for even more convenience! The nationally ranked Makai golf course is also just a 10 minute walk away from your front door, and has some of the best golfing in the country.
The Alii Kai complex is also perfect for a true staycation if you prefer to truly chill out! Spend a day by the complex pool lounging in the sun, and enjoying a picnic lunch at the shady clubhouse, or have an impromptu barbecue on the gas grill. The grounds are also beautifully situated on the bluffs, and have gorgeous views you can enjoy while taking a stroll.

Looking to explore other parts of the island? Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is) is roughly 55 minutes, and to the South Shore is 75 minutes.
As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, however there are ceiling fans in each room and screen doors on the lanai to help with airflow.
This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down one flight of stairs from the parking lot to the front door. There are no elevators.
Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

Reservations cancelled 31-60 days prior to your contracted check-in date will be assessed a 50% cancellation penalty. For reservations cancelled 30 or fewer days prior to arrival, no refund will be made except for the cleaning fee. Any unused portions of the contracted reservation dates are non-refundable. Any interruption of services within the property, or inclement weather during your stay, will not serve to void or cancel the rental agreement.

"Great accommodation
Enjoyed Ali’i Kai 2201 - we own the unit below and this worked out perfectly to house our extended family celebrating Christmas in Princeville. Unit was more than adequate- perhaps the guest bathroom shower head could use some maintenance as it sprayed water all over the bathroom, but not a hardship in general"

"Wonderfull!
We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful condo. The view from lanai was stunning. It was very spacious and clean, with large windows. Lot's of space and light. At night, we could hear the ocean breeze. Cozy, soft sheets, comfortable beds, plenty of new furniture. We would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"Wonderful location with great views!
Loved all the windows overlooking lush green jungle and part of the ocean. Landscaping coming into this neighborhood gorgeous.Updated master bathroom, like new living room furniture, sofa bed, nice floors,new washer/dryer very convenient. Huge master bedroom with nice king size bed, and office area with desk. Lots of closet space with shelves and storage. I let them know they need to address improvements with mold issues on windowsills and inside some drapes. Hire a professional window cleaner and repair all screens. Needs replacement of dishwasher, sink and above countertop. Would stay again if they repair those things. Cannot beat the location and lots of windows brings in lots of sunshine. 2nd level corner unit offers extra windows with views! Did not appreciate the extra fee VRBO adds on which did not offer this customer anything of value. But did love this condo that can sleep 6. "

"A place that fit our needs for a few days
The place was spacious, and fit our needs for 5 days. Pictures in the listing were as advertised. Wouldn’t stay there again however. Given there is no AC, the window flaps are constantly open, and there is mold behind the curtains and various hanging hard surfaces indoors. Not sure if the window screens were completely sealed-Woke up to a few flying insects landing on me. In all, felt like I was camping. However it did have a great view of the mtns and ocean. The management company was responsive to messages and exceeded expectations. "
