CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

"Wonderful Home in Great Location with Beautiful Ocean View
Our group of 6 had a great stay at Hale Lani. The home was clean and had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy our time. Plenty of fans kept things comfortable but it could be a little warm late afternoon for those who like air conditioning. Loved lounging in the pool and hanging on the lanai. Plenty of beach chairs and pool floats. Staff was very attentive to any needs or concerns. Would definitely recommend Hale Lani and stay there again."

"�� One of the Best Vacation Rentals We've Ever Stayed In
We had an amazing stay at 78-6604 Ali‘i Dr, Kailua-Kona. The property description was completely accurate, and the oceanfront location was even more impressive in person. The views were spectacular, with beautiful sunsets every evening and the soothing sound of waves throughout our stay.
The home was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the indoor and outdoor living areas were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The private pool overlooking the ocean was a highlight and quickly became our favorite place to unwind.
The property was very clean upon arrival and clearly well-maintained. Everything from the furnishings to the appliances and outdoor spaces was in excellent condition. The pool area, lanai, and landscaping were all beautifully cared for.
The owner/manager provided excellent customer service. Communication was prompt, professional, and helpful before and during our stay. Check-in and check-out were simple and hassle-free.
We would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family. It offers a perfect combination of comfort, privacy, and an unbeatable location on the Kona coast.
During our visit we enjoyed relaxing by the pool, watching the sunsets, exploring downtown Kailua-Kona, visiting local beaches, snorkeling, and touring nearby coffee farms. We also enjoyed several local restaurants and appreciated being close to shopping and grocery stores while still feeling like we had our own private oceanfront retreat.
This was one of the best vacation rentals we've experienced. The incredible views, beautiful accommodations, and outstanding location made for an unforgettable Hawaiian vacation. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Big Island."

Overall the stay was enjoyable. Feedback: The lower unit smelled musty with poor air flow. It needed air conditioning even in March. The bed was very uncomfortable and not enough wall outlets to accommodate a fan while sleeping (no space). The slider is difficult to open and close (needs work). It would be helpful to inform guests that the driveway is very steep for low clearance vehicles. "

"Kona Relaxing Retreat 2025
Hello and thank you for the rental on Kona.... We met there with some friends that were from New Zealand and had a very pleasant stay.... The house was a great fit and very clean. When we arrived, the rooms were spacious and comfortable along with the beds and pillows that were there, which is always important for staying in a new place!....
We thoroughly enjoyed the deck with the swimming pool.... watching the sunset every evening was fantastic!... the kitchen had all the amenities we needed to make dinner's breakfast and lunch sometimes...
The Wi-Fi worked great, I believe it could be upgraded a little bit, but beyond that it was wonderful to stay at this particular home with all the fans that kept the air flowing through the heat of the day. You did not need air-conditioning at all....
We bought a few more pool toys and left them for those that might come after us, nothing fancy, but kind of helps to just float around and be as relaxed as you can....
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at this home!... a few upgrades might be needed, but we are Builders from the mainland and we see those things. Most would not it's a wonderful place to stay!"

Unfortunately, the house is need a some upkeep and repairs. One of our guest family has a house they use for rental.
A lot of rust and broken items.
The last time we rented from Knutson & Associates we had the perfect house. We were hoping to have a house somewhat the same.
