Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club#8-304 is an excellent addition to ! We're proud to represent this unique property within the development that has 4 separated sleeping areas! This top floor gem can be considered a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom property.
Unit#8-304 is a corner unit, so there's extended lanai space with a Screened in Lanai featuring high vaulted ceilings & multiple relaxation areas. It's extremely private & has the feeling of being in a tropical forest. Large trees engulf the east side of the development keeping the unit having cooler temperatures from additional shade than other ones in the complex.
The main floor has a large open floor plan, featuring a fully equipped and remodeled kitchen! New countertops, cabinets, back splash!
The main floor also has the living area, lanai, & Master Back Bedroom. Enjoy use of a full bathroom too that's off of the master bedroom that has it's own King Sized Bed.
You'll find another bedroom that has disappearing walls that are shoji doors which separate the bedroom from the Living Room. Queen Sized Bed here! Next to that is another bathroom with a walk in shower and a stacked Washer/Dryer in that bathroom. This bedroom opens directly onto the Lanai!
Upstairs in the Loft you'll find immediately on the landing a Queen Sized Bed for the 3rd sleeping area. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower separating this sleeping area from the 4th sleeping area with 2 twin sized beds!! A truly unique 4 bedroom property.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children and other water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to go to.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

This unit is located right next to a heavily traveled road. No AC so the windows are open and you could sometimes smell exhaust. Was tolerable if you can sleep with ear plugs. "

The condo was just as you see in the pictures. It was clean, spacious and well maintained. There were six adults in our party and everyone had comfortable beds to sleep in! Knutson & Associates kept us well informed and checked if we needed anything or how they could make our stay better! Close to Keauhou Shopping Center and 15 minutes to Kona town. Would definitely stay here again."

"Had an amazing time
To start off we were able to get in earlier than the check in time after a quicl text asking of we could. We had 7 people in total, Mom, Dad, myself, wife, sister in law and two kids. Plenty of room for everyone while we were in the condo. I was born in Hawaii and have been back many times since i moved away. The location is great for ceuising down Alii drive and checking out the beaches. It is also right below the Keahou shopping center for dining and any store items you may need. It is a quick run to the main highway to get into kailua or head down south. There qere a few beach going items like a cooler bag and some chairs that made our beach trips more enjoyable. Kitchen was pretty wel stocked for cooking our own food. The kitchen knives needed sharpened but there were stones to do that. The grounds were nice and clean. There was an outside bbq area that we used a few nights. Our kids are 10 and 13 and they enjoyed the pool one evening. The pool started at 1 foot and went to 8ft or so. It is a goood pool for everyone from babies to adults. "

"Perfect Kona location
Our multi-generational family ages 3-70's enjoyed a week stay in this open, tropical, garden condo. Loved the expansive lanai and the open plan and ceiling fans kept the temperature very comfortable even on a warm day. The close proximity of the ocean, beach, Hawaiian historical setting, not to mention the pool, made our stay extra special. Very comfortable and inviting and the property management company was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely recommend it to my friends. "

"Fantastic Place
I really can’t say enough good things about our experience!! Reserving was easy, check in was easy because of the details given by Knutson’s folks. I received a couple of texts after we arrived to see how we were doing and if we needed anything, which was nice. The place was gorgeous, spacious, well-stocked, and easy to access. It was a bit too close to Ali’i Road, but when you’re exhausted from exploring the island all day, traffic noise is a minor thing. We would have liked to get a place with an ocean view, but I’ll know how to reserve that next time. We appreciated the beach items from the rental, even the binocs! I would recommend folks pack 2-3 canvas tote bags for when you go shopping, because Hawai’i is about 99% plastic bag free! Yay!! Oh, and maybe bring/provide a couple flashlights to go watch turtles at night. We really appreciated all the accommodations of Knutson and the homeowner. Mahalo and a hui hou, ohana, ������aloha ������"

Great communication, really nice place, super clean, and a minor problem with a toilet was fixed within hours - now that’s service! Quiet complex in a nice location with a grocery store and fantastic beach park/snorkeling nearby. The screened-in lanai here is truly wonderful. "

"Well maintained property
This place was a great place to stay with my family. It was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was mostly quiet. The traffic on Ali'i was loud at times but never disturbed our sleep. No A/C and no elevator to get to up stairs - 3rd floor unit. All in all I'd stay here again."

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and the accomodation was perfect for our needs.The unit was clean and the resort had everything we needed. The property manager was very responsive to all of our questions.
Our only comment is that the traffic along Ali'i drive was quite loud. While we appreciate that this isn't something the property owner can address (it's jsut because of where the property is located), we wanted to include it in our review in case people had babies or small children - it's likely the traffic could wake them up. It was a bit dissapointing to hear the traffic noise when having morning coffee or dinner on the lanai. "

"Family vacation
We had a family of 8 on vacation. The Rental experience was great. There was great communication
regarding check in and any other questions we had.
The location was within walking distance of a nice snorkeling beach and it was within driving distance of many great shops. We had two vehicles and there was plenty of parking close to the unit. The unit itself was spacious and fully equipped. The lanai was a great place to have my morning coffee and listen to the birds. The grounds offered a very nice pool option and access to the shore. "

"Fantastic Place!
Our stay with Knutson at the Racquet Club was fantastic! The list of positive things is long: the location is great (walk to beach in three minutes, close to snorkel beach and Magic Sands), place itself has lots of comfy beds, lots of room, great lanai in the trees, shopping nearby, and management was very responsive and communicative (they were in such good communication that we never had to ask for anything - information was all sent before needing to ask; reminders, codes, etc.).
In other reviews there were notes about the highway noise and heat. It is true that it is right by the road, but we didn't find it that loud (I am a light sleeper and with ear plugs I was fine). Also on the heat, it was 83 degrees on our trip and there are at least two fans in every room - an overhead and stand up - and when we had them on, the temperature was perfect.
So all in all, it was a fantastic place and it was a big part of what made our trip so good.

We really enjoyed our time in this condo. There were 7 of us plus another 5 in another condo and we all had plenty of space when we gathered together. The balcony is completely screened in which is great since we needed outdoor air without a/c inside. (It was warm even in February!) The kitchen was stocked with the items we needed to make meals. Great location! Property manager is excellent and communicated frequently to ensure a pleasant stay. "

"Great Location and Great Amenities
Perfect for our family's water and hiking experience. Location is perfect access to roads north, south, and east that take you away from the crowded downtown Kona bussle. The many ceiling and stand up fans throughout the home and the large lanai keep the home cool. All the appliances we needed were furnished and made for a wonderful stay. Property management was also very helpful addressing our needs--when the dryer broke, a new dryer was ordered and we used racks on the lanai placed below ceiling fans to dry our closes. A great management company can adapt to your needs when there are unexpected problems. Great home. Great management."

"Great Stay
Easy check in, very clear information on both the property and local to do's. Easy app to have on your phone so you don't have to worry about memorizing all the information. Lanai being screened in made for wonderful family meals outside while being inside. Only down side if you are not prepared or underestimate can be the heat. Hawaii is beautiful but hot, and the upstairs Loft area was the hottest even with the standing fans provided. Highly suggest to use that area for kids and not adults. "

"Excellent vacation condo and location
This condo was perfect for our multi family stay. Plenty of space, and the screened in wraparound lanai is awesome. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, plenty of linens. The pool was wonderful and beach access close by. The location close to Highway and bypass made getting around easy. Communication with Knutson before, during and after our stay very help and responses immediate. Highly recommend."

"Very cozy location. Could use a few upgrades
The condo was in great shape. We struggled with a lot of cockroaches when we first got there. The very back upstairs bedroom has an ant problem. From day one. We couldn’t even let our toddler sleep in there. The day before Christmas, the dryer broke down and that was a pain to hang dry all the laundry for a group of 7. It was fixed after a few days. Other than that, it was very tidy, nice and quiet and we loved our stay there. AC would be nice here, don’t get much of a breeze tucked back in the trees. "

"Good for large group
It is a good condo for a larger group. It could use a deep cleaning (rugs in this climate are not great), the coffee pot worked but the burner was crumbling. Location was good but this building runs along the main road so road noise is very loud. Overall we liked it but it could use some tweaks."

"Condo at the Club
This is an older unit with no a/c. Clean and well maintained though. Condo gets to be very warm in the afternoon, especially in the upper bedrooms. The fans move the air, but still is warm.
Location is close to the pool and tennis courts.
With the windows open, it is noisy due to the main road beside this condo.

"Great space
I rented this unit for the family during our stay in Kona. It has a pool, bbq’s for cooking, and near by is an excellent snorkeling spot for the kids. Plenty of beds and space for everyone. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the entire unit which made things uncomfortable a lot of the time."
