Welcome to Paradise! You found the perfect condo for your Hawaiian Vacation. 2-103 at the Surf & Racquet Club is a gorgeous, 2 bedroom, 2 bath DIRECT oceanfront ground floor property. This property has EVERYTHING you'll need. Wifi, Beach Gear, all available for your convenience. The owners have extensively remodeled the entire Kitchen in March of 2017!! See the photos! Unit#2-103 has the accommodations available to sleep 6! Air Conditioning available for use! The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large, newly remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts. One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago. The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to use. The Big Island is also known as the golf capital of Hawaii with 16 courses, 11 that are located in West Hawaii. The owners of Unit#2-103 want to provide the best service possible for their guests. will offer guests who book Unit#2-103 the following additional services as a benefit, to you, the guest! 1. You have a complimentary concierge service to make Activity Reservations if you so desire to utilize 2. Need us to go grocery shopping or pick up certain items from the store before you arrive? We can ensure everything is in the property waiting for you upon your arrival! (Additional Service Charge Will Apply) 3. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

Very pleased. We stayed as a family of 4 (two teenagers) for 5 nights. The place was very spacious. My teenagers were able to share a bedroom with their own beds and had their own bathroom. Our master bedroom was very comfortable once we figured out the A/C. The rooms were not pitch black for sleep but they were plenty dark for us. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, etc. A standard coffee pot so we bought coffee grounds. Not much for spices other than salt/pepper (no big deal to us as we only cooked eggs every morning). Plenty of towels for showering as well as beach towels and it was great having the washer/dryer as we used it several times. They provided laundry detergent, dish soap, TP, paper towels that lasted us our entire stay. They also provided beach chairs, umbrella, noodle, and boogie board; although it was too small for our adult sized boys so we ended up renting ones for $9 a day at Boss Frogs just a few miles down the road - really good deal. This condo was ok, but think for the cost, I would choose a different one next time. The kitchen was nice, but absolutely no condiments, not even salt and pepper. They did have a coffee grinder that worked though, which is great. The living room was nice, the dinning room table was not great... either the table was to high or chairs too short. Felt like I was a little kid eating at the table, plus the dining room light didn't work. Master bed was comfortable, which was a must. Didn't use the other rooms beds, so not sure on those. The master bath is pretty bad... sink all rusty, tile old, hole in drywall by washer/dryer. No stopper in sink. Other bathroom not much better. They had an old, severely rusted out fan in the living room that was just gross. The worst thing was I thought I was going to have a view of the water. You can see it on the lanai if your standing, or sitting at the bar high table, but if you are sitting in the condo you can't see it. There is a pretty steep grass knoll and small hedge directly out from the condo that blocks much of the view. Another thing I didn't like was Property Management company. I go on vacation to relax, they called me the 2nd day I was there wanting to come in to measure a tv in the other bedroom because it didn't work. I don't like people there when I am not, I have my computer and things there, I just don't like it. Plus we were just hanging out there relaxing. So, having to spend our time, letting the workers come in then and the next day to deliver it is just not right. These are things that should be done in between guests not during the stays. The only good thing was they took out that super nasty fan with them. The unit was spacious and two bedrooms/two baths and an updated kitchen. The unit was clean, with a well appointed kitchen with plenty of dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. The unit does not have air conditioning, but has plenty of overhead and stand up fans. The bathrooms were functional, but the master bath is in desperate need of an update. The sink is rusted and there is no drain stopper; the shower has mold at the bottom. Supplies were sparse; we ended up sharing the last roll of TP as only 2 extra rolls were left in the unit. The bath towels are very old and worn out. The master bed was comfortable; the twin beds in front bedroom were extremely uncomfortable so my friend slept on the sofa bed after a few nights. The complex swimming pool was delightful, water was very refreshing and there were plenty of chaise lounges." There were ceiling fans in every room which help a little. Beside the heat and humidity, the fan in the master bedroom squeaked loudly throughout the night. We couldn't get any sleep for 4 nights. The shower in the second bedroom didn't work. We called and reported the problems the very next day. No repair man showed up. We called again the next day and were told the repair man will call. The repair man didn't show up until Monday! The fan was in such bad condition that he had to replace it. And he later came back and fix the shower. The unit was in a good location. It turned out to be just what we were looking for. Great location on Alii Drive, close to popular beaches but felt far away from the traffic. The condo is beautifully decorated, everything we needed, and clean. Local grocery store is less than 5 minutes up the road. We bbq'd, played volleybal with the family. Other guests we met were friendly and pool area was well kept. The only thing we could ask for was more fans in the unit. It gets hot in Kona. But the VIEW!! We loved listening to the ocean and the breeze and the birds. The rental agency were attentive and ensured we had a great time. We're definitely going back. Big Mahalos! When arriving, you must go through a gate and enter a code to be allowed in. We did have a bit of trouble finding the unit but once we did we were very pleased. Upon entering, we were very pleasantly surprised by the decor and view. It is beautifully furnished and both the living area and master have sliding doors onto an oceanside lanai. You are separated from the ocean by just a few feet of grass and a walkway. This is not a location that you can enter the water or swim. The condo is set above the water on a lava cliff but it is beautiful to look at and swimming/snorkeling beaches are nearby. You will definitely need to have a car here. The condo is a few miles south of Kailua Kona as well as beaches, shopping, etc. There is no AC but there are 4 ceiling fans. During our stay it did get a bit warm inside. I think a few extra floor fans would help. It was very quiet and we rarely saw anyone during our stay. I suspect this complex is mostly used for vacationers with very few permanent occupants. Arrived on a day a local farmers market was close by, there are great beaches nearby and it's a good launching pad to check out the other side of the island, be aware if you are travelling with young ones, it's a long drive to the other side. You hear the people upstairs when they walk around. Our main complaint is that management company said they would get tennis racquets for the unit and then never did. The place has 3 courts and no way to use them. Also, the 2 boogie boards were little and one was broken. The king-sized mattress is very soft. We did appreciate the tile floors in the condo, rather than carpet considering that the ocean is about 30 feet from the condo. The golf course is closed for renovating so we could use it for running in the morning which was a nice perk (golfers may be disappointed.)" We listen to the waves pound the rocks at night. Added bonus was the bin of snorkeling equipment that was used at the beach not far from the condo. Some minor electrical problems during our stay. We don't play tennis but there plenty of people that did. Also noticed that lessons were available. Great eating places within walking distance. After we called Nick, who was very helpful we found our unit and we were so pleased! The decor was exactly like I would have done myself. Very island feeling and tasteful. Felt like a big aloha hug. We opened the doors and listed to the surf all night. So amazing. We loved the quietness of being off of Alii Drive. Although we were steps away. There is a grocery store and a farmers market 1/4 mile away. The neighbors were friendly and the pool was big and clean. Some of the island's best snorkeling is walking distance from the unit. The condo was spacious, clean and well equipped although the appliances could use updating. Beds were comfortable. The main floor location extended our space and the lanai was large with two distinct spaces, one for dining, one for lounging. We very much enjoyed listening to the surf at night and being right on the ocean. The complex is nicely landscaped but the pool is small and ordinary.
