Kona Isle C-28 is a fantastic addition to Property Management! We're proud to represent this wonderful second floor, corner end unit in highly desirable Building C at the Kona Isle!
These second floor units are truly remarkable. High enough for a fantastic view, and low enough to where you don't have climb the extra flight of stairs to the 3rd floor.
Unit C-28 is a spectacular 1 bedroom, 1 bath condominium with a pull out sofa in the living room. Therefore, it's a great option for 4! Building C is on the south end of the complex, so it's considered the "shadier" side to allow you comfort in Hawaii's heat!
Air Conditioning also available for your comfort in the Living Room.
A 36' flat screen TV in the living room if you choose to stay in! A washer/dryer also available for your use inside the condo!

The owner supplies beach chairs, towels, linens, & High Speed Wifi Access for your convenience.
Kona Isle Condos are located on the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, and are individually and privately owned. The gorgeous 74-unit complex is meticulously maintained and blissfully tranquil. While staying at Kona Isle you can swim, relax by the pool, or watch the whales and dolphins passing by as you listen to the soothing sounds of the ocean's surf. Treat your eyes to the breathtaking views from anywhere on site, or enjoy peace and quiet, and great sunsets while barbecuing on the BBQ's overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There is a small Library on site which has many books to read for your convenience for a quiet morning or afternoon. Kona Isle is located 1 mile from Kailua town and close to shops, seaside restaurants, nightlife and beaches.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

"Kona Sunset View
The sunset view from the "beach" area was great. It was very relaxing to sit and hear the waves crash on the rocks as the sun goes down. This was the best part! The property is older and outside is well maintained. Pool is simple but clean, provided noodles for floating. Nice to have a designated parking spot. Unit was on the 2nd floor (no elevator) and a corner unit-best thing going for it. It needs TLC. It could be amazing with some maintenance and updating. Has an a/c unit in the living room only and lots of fans, which took time, but did cool the unit down for sleeping. Provided beach chairs-BUT they are old, rusted and ripped. Umbrella doesn't have a cover. Stove is old and rusted on the drawer, cabinets are chipped. Baseboards are rough-need painting or replacing. Worst part was dishes were not clean! Had to wash before using. Would help to have a dishwasher to be sure things are cleaned between guests. We spent the majority of our time on the lanai (doesn't match the picture) The property manager pushed to "welcome" us- not necessary. "

"Perfect place for a Hawaiin vacation
Impressed by unit as soon as we walked in the decor: attractive furnishings, clean, organized, well-maintained, and properly stocked kitchen. Relaxing view from deck with lovely sunset views. Grounds and pool were cared for. Area was quiet for restful nights of sleep. Location provided easy driving to local sights. Would quickly sign up for any future visit to the Big Island."

"Older unit in a prime location
We have stayed at KI off and on for 10 years. Our experiences with Knudsen have always been fine. This unit is in need of some work. The little unit A/C in the summer is not going to help much. The bathroom fan is unbelievably LOUD and it comes on with the light so something as simple as a night light in the bath would be so helpful. "

"Paradise
What a wonderful retreat! This condo offers the beautiful sights and sounds of the ocean! I never once sat at the indoor table or on the couch because from the lanai I could take in all the beauty of the grounds, the pool, and the ocean! Knutson was excellent to work with. They were professional and communicated well! Great place! Can’t wait to return!"

"Wonderful Accomodations
Easily got checked into the condo. Assistance was offered to get to the condo from the airport but was refused because I wanted to lazily explore town first and get lunch. The view is beautiful both from the lanai and the ocean side area. I loved the grills that were accessible for barbacueing. My wife and I both loved the pool. The condo was nicely equipped with kitchen needs and it even has some beach chairs and water play items. The grounds and condo were very nice....we’ll be back!"

"Ironman 70.3 & vacation
Our plane arrived earlier than expected. We had 2 bikes and asked if we could check in early or store our bikes somewhere safe, Knutson & Assoc responded to my text within a few minutes.. plus we were able to check in early.. The condo was very clean, it had everything we needed, plus a great good bag with the best coffee! The balcony is perfect, great view of the ocean, you can hear the waves at night if you leave the bedroom window open, which we did. Bed was comfortable no complaints at all. Walking to town was only 1.5 miles. We did correspond with Knutson & Assoc a few times via text message and they were very quick to respond and help. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back!"

"Amazing Condo
Me and my husband spent 10 days in Kona. Our condo had everything we needed, beach supplies, coffee maker, air conditioning, and more. Overall we loved everything about this condo. The patio also had an incredible view of the ocean! 4 stars given on cleanliness due to the fact that a lot of the dishes weren’t fully cleaned - but was not a problem at all!"

"Wonderful Place to Stay
We really enjoyed our stay here. Oddly, the older spring mattress was incredibly comfortable and I slept like a baby. The pool was fantastic and we loved watching sunset from the private beach. The inside was a bit dated but unless you’re planning on spending your Hawaii vacation inside then it shouldn’t be a bother. Great value for the money and the property management company was easy to work with and very responsive. "

"Beautiful views from a lovely condo
We stayed for just over a week in this wonderful suite at Kona Isle Condominium. It is well located and delightfully decorated with a small exception of one broken chair back. There was only two of us so we didn't even need that chair so it was not an issue for us. Knutson and Associates Property Management answered all of our questions in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. The onsite resident manager is one of the hardest working people I have ever seen and keeps the complex looking great. I recommend this location."

"Big Love on the Big Island
We stayed for two weeks and had a fantastic trip - the location is excellent for what we needed - it's not close to an oceanfront beach, but it is close to the water and has beautiful views. We wanted to be in Kona and close to food options - we didn't do much in the rental but try to recover from each day's adventures. The property was cute, clean, and functional, and it was easy to follow the guidelines. Looking forward to our return!"

"Kona C28 April 2023
We've stayed at Kona Isles several times over the past 20 years. C 28 has a great lanai view of the ocean, the suite itself has all the amenities but lacks any upgrades and has a "tired" feel to it. We were a bit disappointed that an adequate supply of "BASICS" (for our 2 week stay) like toilet paper, paper towel, Laundry soap, hand soap, garbage bags and coffee filters were not supplied. Otherwise, the property has always remained well kept and cheerful as we had expected it to be. Having use of the neighbouring properties pool was very nice and we enjoyed using their facilities while the Kona Isles pool was under repairs. Mahalo Kona Isles!! "

"Kona vacation
This is a nice complex and the unit has a lovely ocean view from the lanai. Everything was comfortable, except for air conditioning. The wall mounted ac unit was noisy, so I did not use it. The air flow from windows was nice and I was comfortable overnight. Most afternoons were a little too warm for me, but the pool was refreshing."

"Great Location! Beautiful sunsets from the balcony!
Condo was well equipped with a wonderful balcony that provided a fantastic view of the ocean & sunset. Great seating area right at the ocean to enjoy relaxing, a BBQ or your first cup of coffee. Very quiet & located a bit far to walk to town, but so convenient to so many of the things we wanted to see and do. Would have liked a light over the kitchen table. The grounds are very well maintained!"

"Great location!
Pros: This property had a great location and environment. It was beautiful to see the water from the balcony and be able to watch the sunset every night at the little beach nearby. This property was also close to all of our excursions and the main area of Kona for dining. It was nice to know that there was a designated parking spot for the property so we didn’t have to wonder where we would park and conveniently, it was close to the building. I also liked how there was a washer/dryer.
Cons: Our first day, we were greeted with a cockroach. There was some bug spray under the bathroom sink but ventilation wasn’t really great. There also was not AC in the bedroom. Additionally, someone came by before check out time to fix something and was able to open the door on his own - he was surprised there were people as he was told it was an “open day”. Lastly, I wondered about the cleanliness. The towels seemed to have makeup on them and the kitchen towel had a weird funk. I was just glad we had a washer and dryer. "

"Home away from home on Kona
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kona. We were delighted to receive a bowl of fruit when we arrived. The property's view was even more beautiful than the picture. We had many meals on the lanai watching the birds and the beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the amenities that we pursued. The condominium was clean inside and the property was well-managed by Brian. We saw him faithfully attending to the grounds. The manager provided good customer service when we approached them. We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. In fact, we would enjoy coming back ourselves. The most enjoyable attractions for us were the beautiful sunsets, the lovely pool, the access to many very nice restaurants including Foster's Kitchen and Ohana Rey's, and being so centrally located for snorkeling, exploring the island, and finding a beautiful beach. "

"Nice apartment with great view
I stayed here for a week and was working at the time. The WiFi is fast and reliable. The apartment came with utensils and towels everything we needed for a great trip. The o my thing that isn’t mentioned is the non refundable 45 damage fee you have to pay before your booking gets confirmed. That’s an extra cost we didn’t expect. Besides that the view was great and the area is perfect."

We had a great time for a week at Kona Isle. Perfect location with nearby beaches and attractions, close to airport and shopping. Loved having breakfast near the seashore, and the sunsets views in the evening. It is very well equipped with essential kitchen items and also things you will need in the beach (umbrella, beach chairs, towels, body board etc.) Overall, a wonderful experience."

Had an amazing time at Kona Isle. The unit had everything we wanted and needed. Was a little concerned about no AC in the bedroom but that was not a problem at all and we are from Arizona and live in AC. Love the grounds, the beach area, the grill, and the pool. We will definitely be coming back. "

"Great Location For Big Island Trip
We stayed here for a week in March. The location is great for exploring the Big Island, being on Ali’i Drive, 3 miles south of the southern edge of downtown Kona/Kailua. It’s convenient to highways to the north, south and Saddle Road to Hilo. It’s also a quick drive into town for dining and shopping. Right next door is a little convenience store. Kona Isle is a quiet, relaxing and very well maintained oceanfront condo complex. Most of the residents and visitors were over 55. The grounds were lush and filled with flowering tropical plants and palm trees. The pool was heated (tho’ a little cool) and sparkling clean. There is no beach but the complex is fronted by lava rock and the ocean. C-28 is a 1 bedroom, corner condo on the 2nd floor. The balcony faces a large grassy courtyard opposite other condos. There’s a clear view of the pool and the beautiful ocean beyond it from the balcony. We enjoyed hearing the crashing waves from both the living room and the bedroom. Although we didn’t cook, we appreciated that the kitchen was well furnished and that we could enjoy breakfast on the balcony. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. The living room has a powerful air conditioner that cools the main rooms quickly. It didn’t cool the bedroom but the ceiling fan and windows there were helpful. The king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is a little small but nicely renovated. The bathroom and beach towels were nice and plentiful (and it was nice to have beach chairs and a small cooler to use). Everything was very clean when we arrived. The free WI-FI worked well as did the TV (although it was a little small by today’s standards). Having an assigned parking spot was great. Although some of the furnishings/window coverings were a bit worn and eventually needing replacement, we were comfortable and thought the condo was very reasonably priced. "

Kona Isle was exactly as pictured, very beautiful and well maintained. Unit C28 was very clean but could definitely use some TLC and upgrading. We liked it so well we have already booked for next year. "
