Kona Shores, a very popular, oceanfront complex, offers a pool, and BBQ area facing the ocean. There are laundry facilities for your convenience. The Kailua-Kona Historical Village is a short walk or drive away. The Village is very quaint, with lots of charm and shopping right along the water's edge. Some of the activities you can find in the Village and nearby are: beaches, luau's, farmer's markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing…Just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. There is so much to do to stay active, or you can do nothing and just lounge at the pool. CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

Kids enjoyed the property's pool--we were often the only ones using it. The property management company checked-in many times to make sure everything was going well. The room size was comfortable for my family of 4 if everyone is going to bed at the same time! I have 2 children, 9 and 11. The AC in the front window worked well to cool the whole unit. The kitchen was stocked well with all the tools you would need and there's a lot of other supplies in the room too that were very helpful on our trip including snorkels, boogie boards, ice packs and a cooler. The room is right on the road with no view or anything, but it suited our needs. Very easy ground floor access and a reserved parking space." However they may have been vacation renters as well. We did not hear them the first two nights. So future renters may not experience that fairly loud family.
