Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

Kailua Bay Resort – Unit 206 Review by Jim & Lavon Barber 2/26/2025 – 3/27/2025 Location: Great central Kailua location. Walking distance to just about everything. Unit Comments Positive: Good size, well furnished, clean, nice appliances, nice lanai, good parking, nice TVs & WiFi. Unit Comments & Suggestions: (not a deal killer) All window draperies drag on the floor, bad look. Master bed to big for the room, barely enough room to walk around. Bathroom shower is DANGEROUS, very slippery floor, no safety grips, no shower caddy for soap or shampoo, vent fan didn't work. We bought a shower mat and suction cup caddy to leave there. Screen door slams, needs a closer. Air conditioner remotes were not 100% working, had to crawl on the floor to access a/c controls, this was especially difficult for the bedroom a/c. Bottom line, 90% great! Would stay there again!"

"Excellent value for money
We really enjoyed our 2 weeks at this condo. It is perfect for 2 people. The condo was spotless clean, quiet and very well equipped. We didn't have a rental car this visit and we were able to walk everywhere. It is so convenient. "

"Lovely Stay
We had the pleasure of staying at this very clean property for 21 days and had all the comforts of home. All appliances and air conditioning were in proper working condition. Bed was very comfortable along with the huge sectional. Kitchen was very well stocked and ample dishes and silverware. Having a dishwasher was a bonus. Lovely pool area which was very quiet most of the time. It was great to have a parking stall for our rental car although we were able to walk to many cafes and shopping from the condo. The coolers and beach towels that were provided were appreciated. The only thing we would have liked would have been reusable bags for grocery shopping. Lovely lanai for outdoor dining although another blind on the south side would have helped with the hot morning sun.We had a very enjoyable stay with no stress!"

"Perfect condo in a great location
This condo was super spacious for two couples. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. The bed was comfortable with nice sheets and blankets and even the pillows were great. Plenty of extra bedding for the air mattress. The kitchen was fully stocked with some extras. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus for our week long stay. The condo had chairs and umbrellas for us to use which was nice we didn’t have to buy or rent. The balcony was perfect in the morning and evenings to sit and enjoy a drink. The location is easy to walk to restaurants and the beach. Walk through the condo and across the street and you were on the Main Street with restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and the grills at the pool. The whole condo and location were perfect !"

"Just What I Needed!
I loved this spot! It was walking distance from restaurants and beaches and a great central location for all the self-guided driving tours I did around the island (check out Shaka Guide - the tours are great). Plus, it was a great place to kick back and relax after my work days. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed is super-comfy, and the AC works great. I highly recommend this spot!"

"Perfect, Peaceful Location
Our apartment was an easy walk to Ali'i Drive, the beach and the pier. We were in Kailua-Kona for the Queen Lili'uokalani Outrigger Canoe Race. The property was an easy walk to all the venues for the event. The team at Knutson made the check in and check out process so easy and were available to assist when we needed advice. The apartment was beautifully furnished to am excellent standard with many unexpected extras including beach gear, games and books. The on site pool area was a great place to relax. Breakfast on our private Lanai overlooking the manicured gardens was beautiful every day. The onsite parking was right at the doorway to the apartment and shaded for most of the day. We had a great stay and recommend this property in Kailua-Kona. "

"The most comfortable stay
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, and the room had everything we needed and more. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and the amenities provided exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for exploring. The place was very clean and the extra comforters were a plus. The couch is comfy for and big enough to enjoy with the whole family after a long day. The only thing that I would recommend is having a reflective blinds in the bedroom - gets very hot. The owner can save a lot on energy bills by installing them. "

"Beautiful 4-206
This was our first experience in a rental. The condo was decorated beautifully and was so functional. It was spacious and comfortable. It was within walking distance to “downtown” shopping and the water. The property here is well maintained and clean. There may be a few to many speed bumps but we understand why. Nice and quiet. Would definitely rent this unit again. "

"Very nice place
This is a lovely, one bedroom condo, very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Is very close to several restaurants and waterfront that you can walk to. This is the perfect condo in the complex. Because it has plenty of landscaping outside the patio and feels private. There are two AC units in case it gets too hot. Loved it. "

"Excellent condition
Very well kept property. It is obvious that this is a new rental as everything is in great condition. New furniture, very comfortable. We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks total so it was nice having a fully stocked kitchen so we didn't have to eat out for every meal (very high cost of living across the whole state!). Also had beach chairs, beach towels, and beach umbrella in the unit available for use. If you are looking to stay near downtown Kailua-Kona then this is a great unit as it is walking distance. Also included a parking spot so we could park our car which we used for beaches more north as well as volcano national park. Definitely recommend. "
