Hanalei's shops, restaurants, and galleries are only about a 15-minute drive away.

This upstairs corner condo enjoys exceptional views in every direction. Spend your mornings on the spacious covered lanai listening to the waves, then stroll downstairs for a walk on the beach just moments from your door.

The primary bedroom features a king bed and can be separated from the living area with traditional sliding shoji screens, providing visual privacy while allowing cooling ocean breezes to circulate throughout the unit. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and beautiful ocean views, with sliding doors that provide visual privacy. (Because the partitions are not fully soundproof, guests should keep late-night noise to a minimum.)

The comfortable living and dining areas are surrounded by large picture windows that frame dramatic views of Wainiha Bay, the rugged Kauai coastline, open ocean, and lush mountains dotted with waterfalls. The open kitchen is thoughtfully equipped for preparing simple meals or serving takeout after a day of exploring the island.

To preserve the peaceful atmosphere that has made Hanalei Colony Resort so special for decades, the condos do not have televisions. Complimentary WiFi is provided, making it easy to stream your favorite shows—or disconnect completely, if that's more your style.

As a guest in this privately managed condo, you'll enjoy full access to the resort's amenities, including the swimming pool, hot tub, barbecue area, and guest laundry facilities. Please note that a few services provided exclusively to guests who book directly through the resort—such as towel exchange and the resort shuttle—are not available to private rentals.

Hanalei Colony Resort was built in a simpler era, and its design reflects that timeless character. The condos are cozy, with compact kitchens intended for easy vacation cooking rather than gourmet entertaining. To preserve the property's authentic charm, you'll notice a few modern conveniences are intentionally absent: there are no dishwashers or in-unit washers and dryers (a guest laundry room is available), and most condos do not have televisions. This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.
