Welcome to Anini Mauka, this adorable Hawaiian house located just up the road from the pristine beach of Anini Beach, you'll find you have everything you need in this perfect Kauai vacation home.
As a great access point to all the fun activities on Kauai, Anini Mauka is the perfect place for friends and family to gather. Tucked in amongst a jungle of tropical landscaping, this home feels like a sanctuary.
Anini Mauka provides you great access to Anini and Kalihiwai beaches that are minutes away. Drive down the road and be at the back of Kalihiwai Bay, where you can play with your family and kids in the river, paddle board to the waterfall and surf all day long. You can also drive a couple of minutes to Anini beach, great for snorkeling, swimming and shell picking.
The home is a tropical paradise with modern island style furniture, open floor plan, and cool breezes, overhead ceiling fans. Upgraded touches throughout. The main living room has a large A/C unit that keeps the entire home nice and cool, and the second living room has a portable AC for added comfort.
All one level and a single story home, this home is great home base to unwind in after a long day of adventure. The master bedroom includes a King bed and attached full bath (shower). The two guest rooms in the main area of the home boasts Queen beds. The first guest bedroom in the main area had its own magnificent bathroom with dual sinks, sweeping vanity area and an expansive shower with dual shower heads. The second guest bedroom, opens up to another spacious living area, an AC bonus room that includes comfortable furniture, a small kitchen, full bathroom, extra washer and dryer, and leads out to a small covered lanai.
Enjoy outdoor living spaces with 2 covered lanai. The first lanai is screened in, for added comfort and boasts a dining table and 2 comfortable chairs. Lay out in the lawn. in the lush tropical backyard reading a book and soaking up some rays, or enjoy a nice morning coffee on the enclosed screened in lanai.
Fully equipped, this rental has many amenities to offer, a stocked kitchen with all the cookware and gadgets needed for a Hawaiian Meal, Beach Gear, Beach Towels, Plush Bedding and linens, 2 outdoor living spaces, 2 living rooms and much more!

A short 5-minute drive will take you to the town of Kilauea for fun activities, shopping and dining. "Perfect family home!
The house was perfect for our family of four. Conveniently located just a short drive from Anini beach, and just a bit further to great restaurants, the house met our every need. We especially loved the big couch for watching movies together as a family at night. It was peaceful and relaxing and we would definitely stay there again. "

"Beautiful Home - Great Location
We stayed here for 9 nights, with our 2 adult daughters and their husbands. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom which was a plus. Plenty of room to gather. We enjoyed the screened patio each morning to plan our day over a cup of coffee. The beach is within walking distance. The area is lush and tropical. We would rent this location again!"

"Wonderful Retreat in Great Location
Our experience at Anini Mauka and with Makana Kauai Properties was wonderful. Everyone was fantastic to work with and most importantly they leave you alone to enjoy your vacation. This property and house is a lot nicer than the pictures might lead you to believe. It is very quiet, very clean and actually has somethings so you do not need to run to the store in the first few hours of your stay. The property is peaceful and the oranges are delicious. This is a great central spot to the north and south. Also it provides you great access to Anini and Kalihiwai beaches. It is wonderful to drive down the road and be at the back of Kalihiwai Bay, where we played with our kids in the river, paddle boarded to the waterfall and surfed all day long. It was magical and we will definitely be back. We have rented a lot of places around the world and we do so a few times a year, and we can happily say that is was a wonderful vacation retreat. The rental company is extremely considerate and nice. Thank you so much!"

We had a wonderful stay! Great house for our group. It is well appointed. Nice to have beach chairs and boogie boards, too. The house is located a short drive to Anini Beach, grocery stores, dining out and for exploring the North Shore of the island. Looking forward to staying again! "

"Perfect for 2 small families
We were very happy with our stay and loved how the house could be divided into 2 sections. We have a small family of 4 and plus 2 other family members staying, so this worked out perfect if a little privacy was wanted. House was very clean and has everything you might need in the kitchen. The grounds are beautiful and give you the feel of not having near by neighbors. Beaches are just a short drive away, and management is friendly and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!"

"Wonderful Home!
The home was clean and large. We had plenty of room to stretch out and not be on top of each other (3 couples). It was a pretty home with current decorations and appliances. The kitchen is well stocked and large. We had fun playing with the corn hole game and using the beach chairs and boogie boards in the garage. We used the bbq grill to cookout several times. The house did get hot at times without AC. Also, we had to wear bug spray while outside because we would get bit up quickly. The house was tucked away with foliage all around, so very private. It was close to Annini beach and easy to get to things in the north side of the island, but also not that far from the east and south side. We would definitely rent again if we ever returned. "
