"Kauai 2025 Antônio review I felt the room needed a bit more cleaning, it was a little difficult to enter the apartment during the first few days because of the electronic lock, a towel rack in the bathroom came loose, and the shower was wasting a lot of water, with a lot of water coming out from underneath as well." We didn't end up using the upstairs at all because the loft steps area did not feel safe, especially when navigating in the dark. Very quiet place and so very green. The rental itself understandably is weathered because of the humidity. But we did not mind that. There is no air conditioning so the loft with the two single beds can get extremely hot as it’s right under the roof. The rest of the house was fine with 4 floor fans and the ceiling fan. The house was well equipped with everything you may need. There was even aloe Vera for after sun. Overall great stay. It took them more than 12 hours to reply to my concerns. I opened the windows to try to get the air circulating and found the shutters to be dirty. The upstairs fan didn’t work, which would be an issue if you needed the loft as it was quite hot up there. The fridge door lacked a handle. When I arrived, there was a somewhat sketchy truck parked in my spot. As a woman traveling on her own, this was somewhat disconcerting. The path that leads to the beach is overgrown and I would not recommend using it from the unit. The location itself was convenient and easy to get to north shore points. It was clean, private, and the lanai was a lovely place to sit and relax. The pool was handy and refreshing after a day of activity. I couldn't give a full five stars on maintenance because the dryer didn't work, but management was easy to deal with and they had someone out to fix it right away. The only other problem was one of the glass louvers in a kitchen window fell when we opened it because it had no bracket. The only other thing I would say is the lighting over the table was inadequate to do any writing of postcards or reading of maps. Just couldn't have been better. We went on the walking path every morning when it was nice and cool and took the path down to the beach one day. We worried before we got there that it would be too hot without air conditioning but it wasn't at all, there's a good aire that comes through when you open the glass doors.
