Paniolo 210B - this lovely Paniolo studio is a comfy, convenient, and tranquil home base for your exploration of Kauai. It's an upstairs unit, quiet and away from the road, very close to the path to Anini beach and to the walking path through Princeville. Start your day with a walk along the greenbelt enjoying rainbow, waterfall, and golf course views in the cool morning air. Follow the greenbelt path all the way to the end and enjoy a relaxing oceanfront brunch or spa treatment at the Hanalei One Hotel, it's the perfect way to spend a morning. Take a 10 minute hike along the path to Anini Beach for a swim and stop in at the Westin on your way back to grab a coffee at Starbucks or lunch either indoors or out. Stroll over to the park on Saturday mornings for the outdoor market, you're sure to find something there that you love! The Princeville center, with grocery shopping, wine shop, and restaurants, is an easy walk. Hanalei, one of the most amazing spots on earth - whether you like beach, shopping, dining, or all of the above! - is a 10 minute drive.
This restful condo is lovely for a couple, with its comfortable king bed and large full bathroom. With a kitchenette equipped with sink, fridge, microwave, electric skillet, toaster oven, blender, coffee pot, rice pot & kitchen utensils (NO STOVE), you'll be able to prepare simple meals at home and dine al fresco on your private lanai. An in-unit washer/dryer is included. Note that there is no television, but you can use the free wifi to stream on your own device. Beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler are provided for your convenience. Enjoy the complex shared pool and barbecue grill.
As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, but you'll find the cooling tropical tradewinds keep you comfortable and let you enjoy the scent of the fresh sea air.
This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.
This home has internet, but the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

Reservations cancelled 31-60 days prior to your contracted check-in date will be assessed a 50% cancellation penalty. For reservations cancelled 30 or fewer days prior to arrival, no refund will be made except for the cleaning fee. Any unused portions of the contracted reservation dates are non-refundable. Any interruption of services within the property, or inclement weather during your stay, will not serve to void or cancel the rental agreement.

We had a great experience staying here! The unit was easy to locate, the grounds were quiet and well-maintained, and there was a shopping center close by. The unit itself was exactly as described. For a studio, it felt spacious. The in-unit laundry was a big plus."

"Paniolo 210B
This unit is way overpriced for what you get. ($1,803.00 US per week) In 2019 we had a two bedroom two bath full condo on the Big Island for around $1,161.00 US) This Kauai unit is about 1/3 of the size of the unit that we had in Waikoloa Village on the Big Island.
There is no air-conditioning, which we knew going in, but there is no tv, and the kitchenette setup is lacking in amenities. Example - No cook surface. The A/C was something that would have been nice for about 3 of the really hot days. The publicity for the unit said that the breezes would keep the unit cool. NOT!!
We could have spent a couple of hundred dollars more in the area and had A/C and a television (nice for catching up on the news).
Additionally, the lanai was very, very disappointing! There was a dinky little plastic table and chairs and the back of one of the chairs was cracked almost completely across, making it so that you could not comfortably lean back at all. We gave up on the lanai after the first morning trying to have our coffee outside to enjoy the weather. Very disappointing! Recommendation - spend a bit of the overpriced revenue on putting some legitimate seating on the lanai.
The bathroom setup was odd, with the shower stall not having a door or curtain to prevent the water from spraying all over the floor.
The amenities on the property were okay. Nice pool area with one small barbecue. Didn't have to compete for the barbecue even once during our stay because there didn't seem to be many people around.
It was nice to have washer and dryer in the unit. And there were beach chairs and umbrella for use, along with boogy boards if you are into that.
These Paniolo units look like someone has divided a previously two or three bedroom unit into two separate units, and skimped on making the type of unit we had. The unit next door appeared to have a full kitchen and an upstairs bedroom.

"Lovely spot on the North Shore!
We had an excellent time at Paniolo 210B. My partner and I stayed for 3 nights. The unit was exactly as described and very comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the quiet Anini Beach and the drive to other North Shore attractions. The price could not be beat and we felt as though we got amazing value during our stay. Would highly recommend this unit!"

"WOW
We had the best staying at this adorable rental unit. It was quiet, peaceful, and absolutely gorgeous. The balcony view was over the golf course that had tons of trees and lush flora. Not to mention it faces the East for a gorgeous sunrise. There is a beaitful mountainscape within the whole complex of Princeville, a beautiful field with work out stations, and fun shops where you can get food within a 5-10 min walking distance. We will visit again. This isnt a place where you can request coffee or extra shampoo, so bring your own! We styaed 5 nights and there were 2 coffee things, and very small toilettries. (Didnt mind, we brought our own. The beach thats in walking distance isnt a typical beach and is a HIKE to get up and down. Its pretty, but it you are going to lay out and swim then go to a diff beach! "

"Good north shore home base
My husband and I stayed at Paniolo for the tail end of our honeymoon in Kauai. It was a good location for visiting spots on the North Shore. Easy drive to Hanalel and great beaches up there. The parking situation is weird. It’s a free for all until 5 and then reserved parking is enforced. I don’t know why it’s not just park in your spot all day but it didn’t really cause us any issues.
The shower doesn’t have a curtain so water got EVERYWHERE.
The place was nice, clean and comfortable for our brief stay. I would not have attempted to cook anything more than toast or heat up leftovers.
The beach equipment was helpful but the straps on the chairs are broken so they’re hard to carry.
Overall a good spot if you aren’t planning to spend much time at home. "

We enjoyed the comfortable condo, enough space for 2. frig and toaster oven handled meals at home. Fun path to beautiful beach. Drive one or two miles north or south to other beaches. felt very comfortable not having to be fancy. casual dress, beach wear everyday. Enjoyed snorkeling at Aninni beach.
