Sealodge E7 is a cheerful older unit right in the heart of everything Kauai's North Shore has to offer! This well maintained charmer has one comfortable bedroom, an open living and dining space that gets tons of natural light, and a fully appointed kitchen. The private balcony lanai is dream, with ocean views that stretch down the Anini reef. While Sealodge E7 has not seen recent updates, it's a clean and comfortable space, and provides a more budget friendly option for guests wanting a great oceanfront view.
If you manage to drag yourself away from the sight of the waves breaking outside your windows, you'll find yourself in the perfect home base for exploring the North Shore. Anini Beach, just 15 minutes away, has calm, clear waters, and is great for snorkeling and swimming. The beautiful golden beaches of Hanalei Bay are also just 15 minutes away, and the water is gentle and shallow, great for swimmers of all ages. The charming Hanalei town is right nearby as well, and has all the boutique shopping and delicious eating you could ever want! Try some ultra-fresh fish at the Hanalei Dolphin, or grab a sweet treat at Wishing Well Shave Ice (if you've never had macadamia ice cream you're missing out!). If you don't mind a longer journey, Tunnels Beach is 30 minutes away, and has some of the best snorkeling on the island, and you'll likely spot some Honu (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles) too! For those that prefer to stay a little closer to home, the Princeville Shopping Center is only 1.5 miles away, about 5 minutes driving, and has a Foodland grocery store, and plenty of eating out options for casual dining close to home! Happy hour at Tiki Iniki is a great way to pass the afternoon with a cocktail and an appetizer, and the Saturday morning farmers market is the perfect local activity!
Of course, if you're after a true staycation, the Sealodge grounds have all you need for a relaxing vacation right on the premises! You can spend the day lounging by the complex pool and soaking up the sun and the views, or you can throw an impromptu barbecue using the community charcoal grills. You don't even need to leave the complex to have a great beach day, either, just trek down to Sealodge Beach, about a 10 minute, moderately strenuous hike, to enjoy a secluded stretch of paradise with great fishing, great snorkeling, and no crowds! Don't worry about laundry facilities, there's an in unit washer and dryer for added convenience.
Looking to make your way around the rest of the island? Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 50 minutes, and to the South Shore is 75 minutes.
As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, however there are fans in each space and screen doors on the lanai to help with airflow.
This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down one flight of stairs. There are no elevators.
Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

Reservations cancelled 31-60 days prior to your contracted check-in date will be assessed a 50% cancellation penalty. Any interruption of services within the property, or inclement weather during your stay, will not serve to void or cancel the rental agreement.

"Location, Location, Location
Had a wonderful trip to Kauai and a big part of it was because of this condo that the owner shared with us. We have stayed at other Sea Lodge condo's before but this one couldn't have been much better. The view from every window was incredible. Either the seeing the beautiful sunrise over the ocean in the morning or the beautiful sunsets in the evening. This condo couldn't have been placed any better. It also has plenty of privacy too. We highly recommend Sealodge E7. "

"Sealodge E7
The location is wonderful up on the cliff above the waves. The sound of the waves is very soothing and a great way to doze off. The problem is that there is a unit right above with tile floors and the constant noise drowns out the waves. From early in the morning to late at night. Because there was a 4 day storm, we had to spend a lot of time in the condo. Also, they could spring for some new beach chairs. The ones that are there were cheap and broken. We had to go rent them because they were useless."

"You're able to feel Kauai from your balcony
Everything was amazing. The mechanica s of the place are perfect, location, check in,cleanliness. It's the awesome island feel that's everywhere. Roosters roam freely, the ocean sounds, the gentle breeze and short soft rain showers make this place a dream come true. Be prepared for quiet time with everything you need a short drive away. "

"Good view
This rental was ok. The view was really nice. The unit very old. Kitchen cabinet doors kept opening, no air conditioning- hot during day. Kitchen lacked needed items. If you want a view great place but otherwise old and dated. We were missing beach towels and called but they never came. "

"Breathtaking View
The view at this place is breathtaking. Pictures do not do it justice. Beach chairs, snorkel gear, umbrella, and towels are all provided. It’s located close by to tons of activities. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking to explore the northern side of Kauai. 10/10 would stay here again!"

"Clean, cozy and comfy
This is the second time I've stayed at Sealodge and the first time in this unit. It was VERY clean, the bed is super comfy and the linens were soft and crisp. Plenty of beach towels and chairs. Awesome view out of the windows and lanai. No dishwasher, which wasn't a problem for us, but a consideration for someone who doesn't like to handwash dishes. The unit is the perfect size for 2 people to have a romantic vacation, there's a bed for a child/third person but I can see it being a little cramped with three or more people."

"Sealodge Spectacular
Kauai Kahana Vacations was awesome! In the booking stage, I was very concerned about our ability to sleep on a hard mattress. KKV promised a mattress topper and delivered! Our month at Sealodge was excellent. Waking up to that view...fantastic. Princeville and Hanalei were all one could ask for; restaurants, beaches, hiking, kayaks, grocery etc. Great location. The negatives pale compared to the overall experience. However, there were alot of issues. At Sealodge the pool was closed probably until summer. Parking was tough if you came back after10 o'clock PM. The E7 unit itself was tired. Mattress was OLD and crushed at the edge. Dishwasher broken when we checked in and replacement unavailable. Stereo unit was old and completely shot, wouldn't play a CD, tape and no radio because the antenna was broken off. The refrigerator was old and would go into fits making a slapping noise that could wake the dead, it did its primary purpose satisfactory. No TV in the bedroom. Unit in the living room was small. Washer/dryer was excellent. Unit needs an overhaul. We will definitely come back but will try a different unit. View was incredible though! Thanks for the excellent vacation and as I said, the problems were at the worst...pesky."

"Family Fun
The place had an amazing view. Although out dated was very clean. The condo was well stocked with beach chairs, goggles and beach towels.
The first night toilet was broken it took 3 visits from maintenance before it was working. This should have been checked ahead of time.
The location was great."
