This comfortable, roomy Kauai condo provides two bedrooms and two baths on two floors. Upstairs is a large loft with queen bed and a full bathroom with both tub and shower. There's a comfortably furnished sitting area, perfect if you're traveling with teenagers or grandparents who want their own space for lounging. The sofa in the loft sitting area opens to a queen size bed. Downstairs you'll find an upgraded kitchen with granite countertops that's open to the dining and living areas. Dining table seats 4 people, and there's extra seating for three more at the kitchen island. The living room is comfortably furnished and includes a flat screen television with cable. Free wifi is also provided. Also on the downstairs level is the master bedroom with queen bed, and the master bathroom with tub and shower. Additional amenities provided include beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrella.
ABOUT PUAMANA: Guests can enjoy a 2 minute walk to the Westin Resort with its Starbucks, bar, restaurants, and wine tasting. These Princeville condos are comfortable and spacious, with private lanais, full kitchens, and large upstairs lofts along with many upgrades and charming personal touches. Free parking is available quite close to your door (one reserved space per unit).
About Anini Beach: Anini is the longest and widest reef in the Hawaiian Islands and because of the unique conditions, the beach usually has well protected waters and some of the most consistently good conditions for safe water activities. There is no lifeguard posted at Anini Beach, but it is still considered to be one of the safer beaches on north shore Kauai. Generally uncrowded, at Anini Beach visitors can enjoy snorkeling, beach walks, picnicking, paddle boarding and wind surfing. The beach path from Princeville to Anini Beach is a beautiful walk with scenic views and takes just a few minutes from our Princeville vacation rentals at Puamana. The path can be slippery following rain.
As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.
Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

"A Place to Return to
When we arrived on the island it was dark, so our morning wake up call was such a pleasant surprise. The views of the ocean and golf course from our unit was breathtaking. We felt like we won the lottery. Additionally, the place exceeded our expectations. The decorations were classy, kitchen well stocked, and everything was spotless. This is a quiet area (except for the local roosters) with many places to explore.
We appreciated the contact from the rental agency with an upcoming weather system that took out power for a few hours and knocked out the internet for a day. They were quick to respond to our questions and concerns.
I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting to stay in Princeville. It has the best views of any of the surrounding places we saw."

"Cozy
House was overall beautiful and cozy. It had basic supplies to get us through the trip. When we arrived I forgot there was no air conditioner, we ended up not using the bedroom upstairs after one night. They did however provided us plenty of fans to use. Overall we felt safe, enjoyed the pool, close to stores. When we arrived it was late, it was after business hours, myself and others couldn’t find our place and had trouble locating it, it would be nice if there was someone to talk to or more direction in locating the house."

The property was very well maintained and the location was beautiful. The only issues we had were the internet did not work most of the time and the cable TV did not work in the main area and main level bedroom. The only TV that worked was in the upstairs bedroom. We contacted the phone number provided several times but did not get a return call."

"Puamana Unit 16B Princeville
This unit is completely redone and spacious with a glorious view. It is also well stocked. During our January 2024 stay, the entire condominium property was undergoing major repairs (new roofs) and they were working on building 15 and building 16. We endured a crane and dumpster parked in front of our building as well as workers pounding on the clay tiles and roof of our building. We also had a bug infestation (roaches and ants) during our stay, which required two pesticide treatments. The normal parking area was inaccessible and there was a ladder and a pile of broken clay tiles blocking the front entry. We took pictures of the mess and sent a daily update to rental agency. I would not recommend staying at any unit of the Puamana condos during the construction, which has been going on since 2020."

This is a great property. We would definitly stay here again. In case the property photos have not been updated, the upstairs loft is now divided into two rooms, so there was plenty of privacy for my two teens to have their own space. Our favorite part of the island is Hanalei, so staying on the north side was great for us. "

"Location good, unit was just ok
Working with the property management company was seamless and easy. The unit itself left some things to be desired. Many units in the north do not have AC, so we assumed the trade winds would do the work. However, it was very warm. Between the chain-smoking neighbor to the left and the construction going on in the unit to the right, and the roosters 5 am wake up, it wasn't very enjoyable. The layout of the unit is quirky. Not enough floor space on the first floor, so luggage ended up in the main hallway entering the unit. The views were beautiful and the kitchen had everything we'd need to cook. Location was close to everything we wanted to do. "

"Nice rental unit but...
Overall the unit was clean and furnished well. The location was lovely. We did have some concerns during the stay. Unfortunately unit 16C was under construction. A few days into our stay we were woken up by loud construction noise. I did call the rental company to let them know that we were being disturbed by construction noise. I was truly unhappy that we were not made aware that the next unit was undergoing renovations. If we would have known we would have changed our accommodations. After voicing my concerns there was no additional follow up by any management which seemed quite unprofessional. "

The condo was beautiful! Great view of the ocean and golf course. Kauai Kahuna Vacation Rentals had great communication and was very responsive via email. One very small thing- the condo could use more small towels for dishes and the bathrooms could use more washcloths. We made it work, just had to do a few loads of laundry. "

"Gorgeous!!
We had a fabulous experience with this vacation rental. The property was immaculately clean, and beautifully furnished. Kitchen was well stocked with more than enough plates, equipment, etc. It was perfect for our family of 6 - 2 adults, 2 older kids who shared a queen, and 2 younger who shared the queen sofa bed. The upstairs bedroom is completely separate from the queen sleeper sofa area (on the pictures it wasn't clear there is a dividing wall). Fabulous communication from the property agent, and overall this could not have been better. Thank you!!!"

"Kauai vacation
Nice complex. The condo was as described. Very comfortable and well equipped. Next door neighbor sits out on balcony constantly and smokes, not a friendly guy either. After we tried to smile and say hi with him ignoring us we just did the same. Rented bikes and rode lots of places from the condo. Nice hike to beach close by. Overall a great trip in a comfortable condo."

"Amazing Stay!
Our experience was awesome, in every way. Even though this location doesn't have direct beach access, the view is amazing. We saw whales jumping, golfers playing through and beautiful flowers all from the deck. The property was great. The layout provides ample room and the condition exceeded our expectations. The only negative is the smoke from the neighbor's deck. We had a small issue with the coffee pot but the management company fixed it very quickly and hassle free. We highly recommend this property!"

Had a great weeks stay here. Very good location, nice amenities, good management, etc. Only thing that was a bummer was the neighbor who chain smokes out on his deck. He owns his unit so he is entitled to do so. Just that we liked spending time out on the deck as well and had constant smoke wafting by. One of the reasons we went to Kauai was the fresh air."

"Great holiday location
Had a wonderful time at this location.. The north shore is an amazing place to see. Bit wet and windy at times but scenery is beyond compare.. The place we booked was nice and no real complaints. It could use some upgrading as few things have seen better days but over all location was amazing and clean. Place never had a BBQ and I really missed that so I bought one and left it at place in outside closet off main deck area. Also left a surf boogie board and such for families to use in closet, enjoy it. Figured nice having some toys to play with at beach. lol. Beds need replacing as weren't comfortable but worked. I didn't know but the couch in living room also opens up to a bed if needed.. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, window cranks didn't work but the place is getting a FULL renovation in fall of 2020 Im told so no biggie. Neighbour beside is super nice and lived there 30 years, say Hi if you stay here. Other side is rented out. I liked the place and would stay again, miss the island.. "

"Spacious Condo with Ocean Views
The views and location of this condo were great! We were a short drive from Hanalei. There are sidewalks throughout Princeville which is great for walks. The condo's kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. There is lots of space, indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of beach towels so that you can enjoy all the nearby beaches! "
