If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Everyone was amazed, loved the cabin, clean,and beautiful scenery.alot updated and had to learn lol how to use fridge temp and dishwasher but all in all great and any questions or help was a immediate response!the only reason I put 4for safety was the road not use to the windy roads" Jun 30, 2025 - Jill S., Alden, NY "A true dream cabin The cabin was gorgeous. Very clean and well appointed. Rooms were comfortable and well furnished. View is beyond words. We loved the pool table and arcade machine. The hot tub was used often. We had seven people and were all very comfortable. The cabin was well insulated as we were not disturbed by each others activities in different parts of the cabin. The kitchen had plenty of dishes. We have no negative review but would suggest having a kitchen scrubber (there was only the wash cloths), perhaps a larger cooking pot (as we were cooking for a large group). We loved the deck and the chairs. It would have been nice if there was a side table on the decks. By the way, there were some "wood bees/carpenter bees" that were burrowing into the wood above the main floor back door. They did not bother us be we saw the sawdust on the deck and saw them entering the holes. We absolutely loved the cabin and did not want to leave. If we have an opportunity to come to the area again, we would definitely seek out this cabin." The lodge is breathtaking inside and out and everything about it suited our needs to perfection. We loved having so many bedrooms with king-sized beds. Briefly stated, this lodge was everything it was advertised to be, and we couldn't have asked for more. NOTE: During our stay, we left food cooking in the oven a bit too long, something boiled over, we smoked up the lodge, and the stove stopped working. We called maintenance, and they sent someone within an hour. He fixed the oven quickly and all was well. NOTE: This property is under the management of Elk Springs Resort, and they always do an outstanding job!" It was also great being at the end of the road so it was really quiet and we had plenty of parking for 5 vehicles. We were about 15 mintues to gatlinburg and about 15 minutes to sevierville. I would also recommend Iron Mountain Sporting clays if you are looking to have some fun with shotguns. We had a blast!" The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, pots and utensils we needed. The property manager was great with checking in and really reliable from the time we booked until our stay was over. the location was great only 30 minutes to Gatlinburg attractions and 15 to 20 minutes to the supermarkets. The HawksVue cabin is in the best on location, you're not near the other cabins which is a plus and the view is breath taking. I gave it a 3 star because there is no internet service. we could not enjoy the movie room and our laptops or phones. This is my personal thought because Wi Fi is important when your indoors and have to do work on your computer or want to stream. There was only Direct tv with basic channels. But I highly recommend this Cabin. i would stay here again if they invest in better WI FI Service." Also owners do not provide cable on all televisions. 2) Responsiveness from property management company was poor via email and phone. We had to contact them daily for status on issues reported vs them proactively providing updates on known issue. For example, 2nd maintenance tech came to cabin said he would be back in 25 minutes to fix issues and never came back or called. We waited over 2 hours for his return. The next day we contacted the management office because no one ever came back or contacted us. The management office did not contact us although they advised they were aware that he was to return and they still not provide resolution to issue. 3) Cleanliness- found several articles of clothing left by prior guest in the cabin and the windows were full of dust and cobwebs..Sent photos to the management office. 4) Internet/wifi was sketchy and unstable 5) Hot tub takes 24 hours to heat. This needs to be included in the instructions. 6) Decent location for tri-cities, winding uphill roads, recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle. The directions given where very easy to follow and led us directly to the home. The only suggestion is that the home could have been a bit cleaner. Whoever cleaned the home left hair on the bedding and a few towels. It was a used fake eyelash left under a sofa pillow and old towels left in the dryer that smelled unclean. Also, I would suggest bringing your own towels and wash cloths. The ones provided were very hard and rough on the skin. Even with those minor issues I would stay at HawksVue again in the future. Checkin and checkout was a breeze, and someone called when we arrived to ensure we where okay. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. Everything else is on you, including cleaning supplies. Don’t expect any cooking supplies (oil, salt and pepper, etc). Coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned and we were greeted with mold in the morning.
