Gulf Horizons is a beautiful 5000 square foot, 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath multi-level home located just 4 miles off of Hwy 59 in gulf shores. This home is directly on Little Lagoon(7 miles long) with a large beach area. Whether you want to spend the day on the beautiful, white sandy beach or swim in fish in the Lagoon, this house is perfect for you. The property is located directly on the lagoon perfect for little ones to swim without waves, but also just across the street from the gulf with easy walking deeded access to the beach.
The main level consists of a spacious living room area with a fully equipped kitchen and bar. Also, a fully equipped laundry room, master suite with private bath. The master suite on this main level has a king size bed, walk in closet and private full bath with a jetted tub, separate shower and separate his and her vanity areas.
The second level offers 4 bedrooms and 4 full bath along with a wet bar that has a microwave and coffee station. The second master has a king bed with a private full bath with jetted tub and separate shower. The middle bedroom on this level is a bunk room with two sets of full bunk beds and a full walk in closet with full bath. Guest Bedroom #3 upstairs has a king size bed and the 4th bedroom upstairs has 2 queen size beds. All bedrooms have their own full size bathrooms. There are outside decks and access to them from each bedroom in the house. With wrap around decks on each level there is a water view everywhere.
This house is kid friendly and is the perfect house for a great vacation.
*Primary guest must be 25 years or older unless approved by (Property Management). Due to fraud, a driver's license and selfie must be uploaded as well as a Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement with (Property Management) must be electronically signed to secure your reservation.

Cancellation Policy:
A reservation deposit of 25% is due at time of reservation and will be applied to total amount. The balance of the total amount is due on or before 90 days (house) or 60 days (condo) or 180 days (rentals more than 13 nights) from arrival.
A 60 day notice (condos) or 90 day notice (houses) or 180 days (rentals for more than 13 nights) from arrival date is required for any cancellation to receive a refund of deposit. The $99 Reservation Fee is non-refundable and a Cancellation Fee of $100 will apply. If less than required notice is given, every effort will be made to re-rent the property. If we are unable to rent the property, no refunds will be due. If the property is re-rented at full rental rate, you will receive a refund less the Cancellation Fee and Non-Refundable Reservation Fee.

"Just shy of perfection.
The house was great for our family of 11. It had plenty of room with great views of the Lagoon. The house needs some maintenance and some TLC . We enjoyed our stay very much. The property rental company was superb. Upon arrival there were a few issues and they were very quick to act on it."

"A Wonderful Family Vacation
Our adult kids and their families joined us for Thanksgiving. The kids had so much fun playing in the lagoon. They even swam in the pool (though not heated). There were a couple of small problems, but the management team took care of things asap. It's comfy and just the right size for a crowd. "

"The most relaxing and fun vacation we’ve been on!
We did a joint vacation with 3 families including adults and kids and thanks to this house and its location, it was absolutely wonderful!! The lagoon in the back is priceless! It’s a very short walk to the ocean, and you get a pool! Everyone can spread out which makes for a very stress free and fun trip! The hosts were perfect! 10/10 recommend! "

"Everything we needed and then some
This rental was perfect. We had everything we needed from beds to pots and pans, to location. The lagoon in the back to the pool in the front,ocean within walking distance right across the street, and plenty of room for our entire family. Very family friendly area. The grill was definitely a plus. Fishing out back! For the first time ever, I didn't have to bring any of my own pans or go purchase any while there. Our family had an amazing time and plan to return. We definitely recommend this rental. "

"Family trip
The home is absolutely beautiful and had plenty of space for our entire family. The location was perfect for a beach vacation. There is definitely problems with the locks on the doors being broken making this a hazard for small children and when I reported this I felt it should have been addressed immediately.We could not enjoy the front upstairs porch due to this and could not enjoy the ocean view. The kitchen had ants by stove and window . They did have someone come and put ant traps out eventually and spray with can of ant spray but problem persisted during entire trip. None of the T.V.'s in bedrooms worked properly and the lights upstairs seemed to have wiring problems because when one person turned theirs on it would come on in a different bedroom. The pool was not clean and had to call to get this addressed also. When paying this price for a vacation home I would like to have less problems, occasional issue is to be expected but I feel the overall upkeep of the home should be addressed."

The location of the property was great for access to the beach and bay. All of the bedrooms were spacious with each having own bathroom. The property needs some upkeep. Large blind in the living room would not go up and blocked the view to the bay. The pool was not clean and unusable which was a shame because that was one reason we booked the property. Other minor issues like the refrigerator missing shelves and lights not working. If these issues had been addressed prior to checkin, overall rating would be higher. "

This is a great house to rent. You have the lagoon water behind the house which is calm so you can sit on the top deck or lower deck to enjoy or you go to the front of the house and listen and watch the waves top deck has a great view of the ocean main deck is also great. Love that you can pull under the house and unload at the bottom door. I will rent this house again. "

"Disappointed
This is the 2nd year in a row we have stayed at this property. Compared to last year the property had not been maintained very well. The “new” pool was steaming hot and was leaking, the dryer did not work properly, there was mold growing in several areas of the house. The beach for the lagoon area was grown up and covered when grass. The exhaust vents in the bathroom was completely missing. The property management company always responded to text messages but never answered our phone calls. Everything was done via text messages. Needless to say we will not be booking this house again next year. "

"Overall a wonderful experience
Overall our vacation was wonderful. We had a few concerns in our stay. EX: Internet did not work, Mold in the vents, all doors were unlocked upon arrival, someone was on the lagoon side at night while we were in the hot tub/pool, one shower did not work upstairs. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay for 5 days. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. I know stuff happens with many different people renting so I would definitely recommend this house to others. "

Positives: Plenty of room for our group of 17. Convenient and roomy food prep and dining areas with lots of outdoor seating as well. Beautiful views at the front and back of the house. New pool was a great plus. Maintenance call was answered promptly. Only problem was the porch furniture and exterior doors need a power wash and a little shower water dripping from the ceiling fan downstairs, which maintenance addressed. Enjoyable stay!"

"Fun in the sun family vacation!
Our family vacation stay at New Horizons was fantastic. The accommodations where excellent with everything in working order and clean. Backing up to the Lagoon with the private beach was perfect for our younger grandchildren, and everyone loved having the gulf beach just across the street. We slept 14 comfortably, and the large dining table and breakfast bar worked perfectly for meals and game nights. We will definitely look to return in years to come."

Your home is beautiful!! Having access to the beach and the lagoon was great for our family. We rented kayaks for the lagoon and walked a short distance to the beach. Home is set up perfect! Having a bathroom for every room is perfect! Everyone had their own space. Kitchen had everything you needed. The balcony views were fantastic, we could see all the fireworks around and even the big ones that went off at the pier miles away! "

This house and property are amazing. The house is always nice and clean and super big. They have pretty much everything you need for your stay. I love that the kitchen is fully stocked and that there is an extra refrigerator! The private beach is always one of our favorite things too and the location is great. Also the rental company was nothing short of amazing. They were super nice and super helpful through the entire process!!! We come back year after year to this amazing getaway!! "

We had fabulous time. The house was everything that is was said to be, big, roomy enough for our crew of 12. The back area was a hit with everyone. The kids fished we floated. We sat out on the front porch and watch for the Blue Angels doing their practice runs. The beach watch just across the street and was easy to get to with the beach access path. "

This is the perfect house for large families or multiple family vacations. We had a party of 8 and this house was more than enough room. The lagoon is just steps off the back dock and was the most awesome playground for our littles (4 & 10). "Gulf Horizons (Family Vacation)
My family of 10 stayed at Gulf Horizons the last week of May. There was plenty of room for everyone.
This house was chosen because of the 5 bed / 5 bath. We had everything we needed for cooking at the house and plenty of room for storage in the fridge and cabinets. Many hours were spent on the back porch overlooking little lagoon. We brought our kayaks and were able to kayak and fish. The beach, which we had to ourselves, was across the street. We had no problem accessing the beach. "

The location is amazing. The lagoon is steps out our back door. We had kids from the age of 2 through 13 that loved playing on our own personal beach and enjoyed the shallow water.
The ocean was an easy walk across the street to the beach access. Beautiful sand, there wasn't any public parking near by therefore the beach wasn't crowded. We setup our towels, played in the water and didn't have anyone within 50 yards of us. The two decks on the back of the house were perfect for setting back and enjoying the day. The house was great, big enough for everyone to gather together for a meal or games but we also had enough room if you wanted to have a nap without being bothered. Each room had a TV, that was great so the kids could play video games in their own room. Any question I had was just one quick text away from being answered and resolved right away. "
