CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Rental Agents Office.

Upon cancellation the full mount received less the travel insurance, non-refundable reservation fee and applicable taxes will be refunded. Reservations with travel insurance are non-refundable 24 hours prior to check in or thereafter.

CHANGE OF PLANS OR RESCHEDULING: Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Cabin is by other cabins, but it was never loud or busy. Cabin could us some updating - rocking chairs, outside table were pretty old and worn. Many lights were burned out inside, which made it feel dark (especially in the bathrooms). Porch railing felt a little unsafe and moved out when leaned on, front porch beams had large holes in them and looked like they were being eaten by something. We didn’t see any bugs, so maybe it was already treated? Probably could use some basic maintenance. We also were happy that we had the full kitchen and BBQ to use. The cabin needs a little bit of care (light bulbs, ceiling fan replacement in main living area) but was still very comfortable. It would be nice if checkout time was a little later, especially if the next reservation is not the same day. The carpenter bees were rampant this time of year and there are holes on all the cabins that we saw, which means lots of damage long term, but that is hard to battle." The cabin had not been dusted in some time. The upstairs bedroom dresser is very tall, had change on it that someone had left and clearly had not been dusted. Also, the upstairs bedroom's carpet was disgusting! The cabin had no water pressure and when turning off any sink faucet, you had to find the right spot so it would not continue to leak water. The ice maker was broke (which management tried to fix to no avail). Also, the oven handle broke when we tried to get something out of the oven, which my husband fixed. But this is a cabin I would avoid unless you just can’t find anything else on their website. The cabin itself is nice, but there were so many problems. When we arrived there were chip crumbs on our pillows and trash under the bed on the floor. The master bed slept like concrete blocks so we went to the upstairs bedroom. The heating and air was horrible. If you turned on the AC, your room feels like a freezer; if you turned off the ac or even turned on the heat, it felt like an oven. There was no middle setting that worked. The pool table pockets had holes in them and the pool ball would hit your feet if you made it. The hot tub didn’t heat very well and the jets didn’t work properly half the time. We love elk springs but this was the worst cabin of theirs that we have stayed in due to their high standards of previous cabins, we will be back to elk springs but will AVOID natural beauty. Be aware that not all Elk Springs resort cabins have access to the community pool. We saw other cabins had community pool access and assumed all within the resort did too. Nope, not this cabin. The kids were disappointed since it was super hot during our visit. Other than that and a couple other minor things, it was a cozy cabin as advertised." We had no working washer. I was told to 'Google a location of the nearest laundromat' because parts could not be found for the old one in the cabin. We did receive a small refund that did not cover our time and $ spent at a laundromat! The view was obscured by trees until the very last day of our 7 days when they were trimmed back while we were out and about. Very dated and uncomfortable furniture. Porch furniture is 'rustic' and uncomfortable with splinters. The grands did like the 'gaming system'. Garbage in the 'garden' off of the front porch. It was clean, stocked well in the kitchen, and in a good location - far enough away from the chaos of downtown and close enough that it wasn't a haul to get there. The deck is a good size and wraps around the cabin. We didn't use the grill but it did fire up when tested. The hot tub is more for a good hot soak, not a strong jetted tub, smaller in size but we still fit 4 in it. The view is grown in from the pictures, a little tree trimming and the mountain view would probably be beautiful from the deck. The pool table is an older one that had some very inconsistent play so my sons didn't use it as much as they wanted to, gaming system is like all others in that market, some games work great, others not so much. Our big hangup was the furniture - The master bed was in dire need of replacement or at least a mattress topper. We didn't sleep well because of it, the upstairs bed wasn't any better. The sofa and chairs have lived a long life so you sink into them, not comfortable for a movie or rainy day hanging out. The dining table was plenty big for 6 (we only had 4). All appliances were in good condition and worked well. The management company and the rest of the complex were good. Everything was clean and maintained. Overall it was quiet, the cabins aren't all on top of each other like other locations so there was some privacy. I'd recommend the Elk Springs company but would look more into other cabins they manage because of the furniture in this unit." There was no back up generators, no wood fire place, nothing. So we just spent the night in a freezing cold cabin and wasn’t compensated for it at all. I wouldn’t recommend."
