Sealodge Beach, a beautiful and secluded hidden gem, is just 20 minutes away. Enjoy a laidback walk on the pedestrian path by the Makai Golf Course before braving the muddy trail down to Sealodge Beach. Anini Beach, great for snorkeling, swimming, and sunset strolls, is also just 15 minutes away on foot. You can stop by the Westin Resort to grab Starbucks before heading out to the beach, or grab dinner at the Nanea Restaurant after an afternoon in the sun. You can also walk to the Princeville Shopping Center just a mile away for everything from groceries, shave ice, and locally churned ice-cream, to happy hour, farmers markets, and hula shows. For more excitement, and some of the best beaches in the world, you can drive just 10 minutes away to the bustling island village of Hanalei. If you prefer to do less and relax more on vacation, the Sandpiper complex is perfect for a laidback staycation. Spend the day lounging and soaking up the sun by the tiled pool and jacuzzi, or sear up some ultra-fresh fish on the communal gas grills. Afterwards you can end your day enjoying the tropical weather with a drink on the lanai. If you're looking to explore the rest of the island on vacation, be sure to budget your time accordingly. Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 55 minutes, and drive time to the South Shore is 75 minutes. As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.
