EVERY DAY IS A HAPPY HOLIDAY AT REINDEER BAY POOL CABIN, located in the Sherwood Forest Resort, just minutes from Pigeon Forge.
Do you LOVE Christmas? Well, you've found the right cabin! Welcome to our cabin that is theme decorated with Christmas decor all year round! This 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 cabin has a private pool with movie screen and surround sound, hot tub, and fire pit, featuring beautiful views of Mt. Le Conte, and is just a 4 minute drive to the Pigeon Forge Parkway, just 6.8 miles from Dollywood, 7 miles to Gatlinburg, and about a 20 minute drive to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! We are located in the Sherwood Forest Resort, a gated community, featuring an outdoor pool and jacuzzi, which is open in the summer.
When we purchased this cabin in 2018, we redecorated the entire cabin, and brought in lots of new furniture and decorations! You'll be welcomed by bright and cheery colors, leather sofas, quality bedding, and Christmas cheer wherever you turn!
BEDROOMS:
This beautiful cabin features 1 king bedroom, and 1 bunk room, with a twin over double bunk. Each bedroom has it's own private bath with shower and tub, and flat screen TV. The upstairs bunk room offers it's own private deck with great views! In addition, there is also a twin over full log bunk bed in the loft. We sleep a total of 9 people.
LOWER LEVEL POOL ROOM AND GAME AREA:
Downstairs you'll find your own private indoor heated swimming pool! The Christmas theme continues down here with a wall of "snowy aspen trees" and "deer" decorating the walls! Adding to the fun is a 150 inch movie screen, projector, surround sound, DVD player, and cable TV to play movies and shows!
After a dip, step into the game room next door for a round of fooseball, or play one of the many board games we offer! Upstairs in the loft you'll find a cute video arcade game housed in an old fashioned barrel, featuring tons of video games like Pacman, Frogger, Centipede and more!
KITCHEN:
We have a lovely kitchen featuring granite counter tops, maple cabinets and stainless appliances. Our kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, dishes, glassware, toaster, blender, coffee maker, utensils, plus little extras like an electric pancake griddle, a Keurig coffee maker, coffee grinder and french press!
The dining area features a quaint dining table that seats 5-6 and there is a kitchen counter that seats 4 on barstools.
LIVING ROOM:
The living room features a large flat screen TV with Spectrum cable, and a DVD player. We have a cute Christmas Tree in the living room which stays up all year long.
DECK AND OUTDOORS:
Just adjacent to the living area is a nice sized covered deck with rocking chairs where you can enjoy the beautiful views of Mt. LeConte. If you are up for hiking to the top, you can be at the trailhead in about 30 minutes!
If you head out the side door of the living room, or back door off the stairs, you'll find our inviting and relatively private hot tub! We also offer a fire pit, for wood burning, benches, and a charcoal style park grill.
INTERNET/TV:
Reindeer Bay offers high speed internet through Spectrum Cable. Wifi is available throughout the cabin with no data caps. Spectrum offers tons of channels on cable TV, and we have 5 TVs and two DVD players! One TV is in each bedroom, one in the living room, one in the game room, and a very large projection screen TV/theater in the pool room.
MOBILITY/ACCESSIBILITY/DRIVEWAY:
Please note that our beautiful cabin offers gorgeous views because it's near the top of a bluff. The cabin has 3 different levels, one has the pool and game room, one offers the living room, kitchen, and main bedroom, and the upper level has a loft and bunk bedroom. There are LOTS of stairs to climb, in case anyone in your party has mobility issues. Our driveway is steep, but it's a straight shot up, and has a textured concrete surface to help with traction. We have parking for no more than 2-3 cars.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Rental Agents Office.

Upon cancellation the full mount received less the travel insurance, non-refundable reservation fee and applicable taxes will be refunded. CHANGE OF PLANS OR RESCHEDULING: Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

"Very Nice Cabin Rental
We had a lovely stay at this cabin, it is very unique and filled with lots of nice touches. The kitchen has everything you can possibly need, the cabin has a pool and a hot tub, video games, board games, etc. It was very very clean and is probably one of the best cabin rentals we've ever had. And its location was really excellent and easy to all the things to do in Pigeon Forge and surrounding locations. The ONLY caution, be careful of the driveway if you are driving a big vehicle as it is very steep. We were in a 12 passenger vehicle and had a pretty difficult time getting in and out of it each day."

"Wonderful Cabin
We had a great time. The cabin is very nice and the kids loved the pool theatre. We roasted marshmallows over the fire and genuinely had a nice vacation. The driveway is a bit steep but I’m from WV so I’m used to steep driveways. "

Had a great time for my son birthday with my nephews. The parking blew my mind how you have to go up the driveway it is very very very up high and long lol but I do like the million steps that comes down beside the driveway in case you wanted to walk up it because if it is snowing you will be stuck up there lol. But you will have all the fun possible because it’s in great location literally minutes from the store and all the attractions. Quite neighborhood... only thing is I own some air Bnb’s and if I could say anything to up the place I would definitely say add seasonings in the cabinet even if it’s just salt and pepper it will help and Go a long way... overall I give the place a 10/10��"

"Not as good as I had hoped
We had high hopes for this rental, considering how much we paid for just a few days. However, when we got there the pool ladder was broken. Had we not noticed, it would have hurt the kids as they got into the pool. The owners were very responsive and did fix it the next day. You also have to be very careful on the stairs in the house. I wish they had runners. I fell on the stairs from kid's wet feet and busted my elbow trying to catch myself.
Also, the drive is very steep. We couldn't get our 12 passenger van to the top. We did once, and then it took forever getting it turned around, so we ended up parking at the base, which is over 60 stairs to the bottom.
The worst part though was that the air conditioning didn't work. It was 81 degrees in the house. It was miserable.
When I asked for a voucher or money back, the management said They would review and call back. They never did. I can change review if they do call back.
Overall, the kids enjoyed the pool, the owners were attentive, but I would not book this cabin again.

"Needs upkeep
While the location of the cabin is decent and all of the inventory provided comes in quite handy, the cleanliness of the cabin was not great. The cleanliness looked as if it was done by the previous occupants. The bedsheets in the master were used and not fresh. The toilet in the master had pubic hair from previous occupants, in my assumption. Although the cabin initially looks clean and put together, it was the details that makes the cabin look as if it was not touched by a cleaning service that removes all grime left over from previous occupants. The chlorine was extremely strong in the pool and may have cause the skin irritation on my daughters face. Elk Springs had the pool pump changed out just the day before arrival. I imagine they added a bit too much chlorine while doing maintenance. Usually when chlorine is freshly added, you should wait 24 hours before you allow people to play in the pool.
We are a family that loves board games and this cabin advertises that through the information on their website. Unfortunately most, if not all of the board games had missing pieces or damaged boards. We did not get to enjoy any of them. One last thing that I would recommend is added a large pot to cook larger meals for big families. You only have regular sized pots and we cook for 6 people. The pots now don’t leave much room for the food to layout and cook properly. Property cleanup outside could also use more attention. There was pieces of trash all around which takes was from the beauty of the nature we are surrounded by. Other that these unfortunate mishaps, the stay was useful and beneficial for our family. "

The first thing I have to say is we loved all the communication. They sent emails and texts with our codes, directions, and even after we got to the cabin to make sure it met our expectations. The day before we were to leave, we received a text and an email on how to check out. The cabin was clean and the pool was spotless. Everything worked as it should except the master bath jacuzzi tub. The driveway is very, very steep. "

"Perfect for a family with kids!
We had blast at Reindeer Bay! We love that I it was so festive and that there was plenty for the kids to do in the cabin. The cabin is 5 minutes from Pigeon forge and 15 minutes from Gatlinburg so we were close to everything. Our kids absolutely loved the inside pool, they were disappointed that the projector was down but we were made aware of this 2 days prior to our trip. The only thing I think should be mentioned in the ad that I didn’t see would be the driveway. It is extremely steep, it wasn’t problem for us but my sister in law got extremely scared her first going up. She mastered it afterwards though! Overall, we absolutely loved our stay in this cozy cabin!"

"Perfect for my daughters bday
Very nice, Very clean, Very comfortable ... there was 7 of us and it could’ve easily slept 2 more. Loved everything about it, will definitely recommend. "Nice cabin for family trip
The cabin’s location was just perfect for us. It was right on the edge of Pigeon Forge so we were able to easily get on the road into the National Park without driving through traffic. The cabin itself was clean and was well-stocked with supplies we needed for the stay. The owners were responsive with our limited number of questions. The cabin itself was much smaller than we realized, but the perfect size for our family of three. I can’t imagine trying to get 9 people in, which I believe is the maximum. The driveway is definitely a doozy but it’s workable. I would not have chosen the three separate seated couch that they did - not as comfortable for multiple people. Overall, I would recommend the cabin and the leasing company. We had a great trip. "

"Getaway to the Smokies
We loved our stay at Reindeer Bay! The cabin is spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The kids loved playing in the indoor pool and watching a movie on the theater screen at the same time. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The driveway is a little steep, but we got used to it in no time. "

"Excellent Cabin Stay
The cabin was excellent to stay at! The kids especially loved the indoor pool and we used it every night. The movie + pool combo was unbeatable. The fire pit outside was a pleasant touch and hot tub for soaking was great and super clean. The entire home was clean and smelled nice.
Honestly the only challenge was the driveway which is VERY steep, however not a problem overall. We had a 4x4 suburban and taking the corner at the top to park in the flat lot was impossible so we ended up parking at top of the drive instead at a slight angle.
Had a couple questions and the owners were quick to respond and assist.
5 stars. "

"Ladies Getaway
Very nice long weekend at the Smoky Mtns
We stayed at Reindeer Bay cabin. It is a lovely cabin , well maintained with amenities such as indoor pool, hot tub, football, nice outdoor firepit area
Owners checked in with us to make sure things were going okay. Elk Springs was also attentive .
Would definitely recommend staying at Reindeer Bay cabin.

"Don’t let the driveway detour you!
We made a last minute decision to cancel our other reservation and give this cabin a shot, so glad we did! The cabin was near others but you would never know it once you’re up there. We had a full size SUV and the driveway is intimidating, to say the least, but we made it a 2 man job and mastered it in no time! By the end of the trip we were even able to fit a second car up there comfortably, which we thought would be impossible when we first arrived. The home is loaded with all the things you’ll need; kitchen utensils, appliances, games, towels, bedding, paper products, even shampoo and conditioner! It’s clear the owners care about their property and their renters! My sister is not a fan of holiday decorations during off seasons but even she said it was a nice place. We will be returning again, thanks for sharing your home with us!"

This cabin was very nice, comfortable beds, great views of the mountains and having a pool inside the cabin was great for the grandkids and adults. Cabin was clean and in a great location, close to town. We would recommend this to family and friends. The ONLY thing that we could complain about was the driveway - very steep.

"Would not recommend this place
Cabin wasn’t ready for check in , so was late getting in cabin. Toilets didn’t work well, tv system in pool area didn’t work and was removed( and this was one reason for renting this place) kitchen counter, fridg, and stove were nasty. Floors got our feet nasty like had never been mopped. Entirely to hot in that cabin, could use fire pit outside cause was dirty and full. So I’d say it’s the worst cabin I’ve ever rented!!!!!!!!!"

" was just ok
This cabin was ok, but not worth what we paid for it. The location is great, but the cabin itself leaves a lot to be desired. The driveway caused a lot of anxiety...not because of how steep it was but because there is a straight drop off on the side with no railing. When driving an SUV, it’s impossible to see the edge and it’s very dangerous when trying to turn around. The hot tub is nice, but it’s not covered so it can’t be used when it’s raining, which it did a lot during our stay. The cabin is relatively clean but there are cobwebs EVERYWHERE. It’s in desperate need of dusting! There is no outdoor dining table. The pool room projector didn’t work when we arrived. The owner sent someone to fix it, which left me spending my afternoon managing logistics to ensure the driveway was clear for when my parents arrived...it’s not how I wanted to spend my vacation. The air conditioner needs to be upgraded. It was only in the 80s during our trip and the a/c couldn’t keep up. Expect the upstairs bedrooms to be HOT during your stay. In fact, we left a night early because the bedroom was too hot for our children to sleep. Not what I would expect for the price of this cabin. "

"Great Stay, Close to Town!
I highly recommend this cabin! I love to give detailed reviews because I love to read detailed reviews when searching for locations.
Pros:
-Very clean & well decorated!
-Great location & close to town-about 10 minutes
-Pool is heated and has inflatables and toys for kids to plays with
-Roku on each TV including in pool room
-Nest thermostat is nice and easy to use
-Kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, appliances, etc.
-Communication is very easy with resort and owners
-Information about check-in & check-out, rules, guidelines, are clearly posted
-Beds were very comfortable
Cons: (but do not let these deter you from booking, just some things I think are worth noting)
-The driveway. Like it says in the other reviews, it is STEEP! Like 35-40-degree angle steep. Initially, a bit scary. Leaving either forwards or backwards requires two people to do it safely for sure. You could always park at the bottom of the drive (use your parking brake) and walk up & down the steps each time but it’s around 65-70 steps. Be cautious if you are booking this cabin in winter!
-Upstairs gets a little stuffy but box fans are provided so that’s nice
-One bunk bed upstairs is very squeaky
-There is little to no counter space in bathrooms. Just enough for soap dispenser so no space for my make-up, toiletries, etc.
- The resort/community pool had a “spa” area which I thought would be a hot tub, but it was not
-Theater screen in pool room was a little hard to see even with lights off and no instructions on how to work the system/remotes

They committed to the theme, and the amenities were like no other house we stayed in - pool, games, appliances, hot tub etc. It was a short ride to the main strip in Pigeon Forge but tucked away enough to feel like you’re in the mountains. "Reindeer Bay Stay Review
Overall the cabin was nice for my stay, but I will say if you are looking to book this cabin(Reindeer Bay) make sure you are fine with the very very steep driveway with little turnaround space. We were very disappointed about this because we had to carry our luggage and belongings up the hill because our vehicle wouldn’t have space to turnaround after we got up this very steep driveway. Additionally, the cleaning service could do a better job cleaning, we found trash in several areas on the floors in the cabin. Overall cleaning job could be better throughout the cabin. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend to this cabin to anyone would be because of the driveway. Everything else was okay. "

"Great cabin and location
The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated, and it felt nice and homey. The internet and tv worked very well. We really appreciated all the supplies that were provided (ie soap, shampoo, etc). Would definitely stay here again, and recommend to friends and family."

Reindeer Bay is an awesome Christmas themed cabin in a great location with a spectacular view! My family of four stayed there during our fall vacation. The kids loved swimming in the indoor heated pool while watching cartoons on the projection screen in the pool room. My wife and I enjoyed the hot tub on the balcony, not too many things are better than the combination of the cool crisp air above the steamy 104 degree water with a drink in hand...non-alcoholic of course (in accordance with the rental agreement). The location was just about perfect...5-10 minutes away from the Pigeon Forge strip for the entertainment side of the vacation and just far enough away from the city lights that you can see the stars in the sky when back at the cabin. One thing I will never forget about the cabin was the driveway, pull your seatbelt tight and hit the gas when going up the driveway. I can still see the fear in my wife's face and hear the cheers from the back seat from the kiddos like we were launching our car into outer space. Check the weather forecast, if there is snow or ice expected during your stay...find a different place to stay, this was the only cabin in the Sherwood forest area with this steep of a driveway. The Christmas decorations were the deciding factor for us when we were narrowing down our choices for cabins in the area. It is nice to have that warm and loving family feeling you get from Christmas, especially when you are on day 4 of a family vacation and the kids are starting to drive you nuts. On a scale of Dasher to Rudolph...i rate this experience 8 out of 9 reindeer."

"Beautiful stay!
This cabin was everything we could have wanted and more! The owner had everything you could think of available for us. We would choose this cabin again solely because we could pack less! The Christmas decorations were fun! Super close to downtown Gatlinburg but just far enough away to enjoy that beautiful view. Highly recommend!"

"Disappointing for the price
Pool was to cool for little kids, and the pool room heat set to low to swim 77, with the controls for the heat locked in the closet had to call an contact owner to turn up heat to allow us to swim comfortably. Cabin was dirty, had to clean it completely before we could let the kids play. Tiles popping up off the floor, blinds flopping around with exposed brackets. Lots of maintenance issues and numerous safety concerns for my children. Hot tub stopped working but was able to fix. Very disappointing given the price and expectations. "

"Perfect getaway for small group or family!
This cabin was perfect for my group to just getaway for a weekend! This cabin had absolutely everything that we needed. The only issue that I had was that the driveway was not described in the property's description as being very steap! You have to have a 4x4 to get up the driveway, especially with luggage & passengers inside. Other than the driveway, it was perfect!!"
