The Pillars was chosen given it's walking distance location to attractions in Pigeon Forge as well as for it's mountain views. Based on years of local rental experience, the building was custom remodeled to include the perfect mix of amenities for the ultimate vacation getaway.
*** The Pillars is located in Pigeon Forge and is walking distance to the Old Mill.
*** Please note that occupancy is limited to 30 guests
Prepare meals for your group in the large kitchen with plenty of counter space and all the appliances you will need to provide for your group. With bar seating and dining area your group can gather in the inside dining area or outside covered dining area (also with outdoor kitchen).
Watch movies in your private theater room on your 12 foot theater screen. The lower level theater area with podium can be used to enjoy movies and/or conduct a group gathering, presentation or meeting as each theater seat includes a desk.
Conveniently located in Pigeon Forge you are just minutes from all the attractions. There is so much to do at the cabin the kid may never want to leave. Enjoy a game of pool in the game room, play on a classic stand-up arcade game for it... play in the private outdoor splash pad (open April 15th to October 15th). Not enough? Relax in the 16 person hot tub and then finish the evening watching a movie outside in your covered living area with theater screen.

This cabin is professionally managed by in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Feel free to check here for details -or- all our listings at Elk Springs Resort rentals.
Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking my be staying in the cabin.
We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are not pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Rental Agents Office.

Guests who have purchased Travel Insurance must contact Rental Agent up to 24 hours prior to check in to cancel or reschedule the reservation. Upon cancellation the full mount received less the travel insurance, non-refundable reservation fee and applicable taxes will be refunded. Reservations with travel insurance are non-refundable 24 hours prior to check in or thereafter.
CHANGE OF PLANS OR RESCHEDULING: Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

"I wasn’t going to leave a review but since you asked, here it is.
This was probably the worst place we’ve stayed in 10 years with our family. It was definitely the most expensive, but not the nicest ..They had the AC box locked and it had to be the hottest week in pigeon Forge. I feel like when you’re paying this much for a place. You shouldn’t be babysat on the amount of AC use..
At the beginning of the week we went and spent about thousand dollars worth of groceries. We have a very large family by the second day. We realize something was going on with the fridge because the milk was souring. We ended up throwing away over $300 worth of groceries. They did send someone to add Freon to get us through the week but may know offer to help out with the loss of food.
The house was conveniently located close to everything, but that also meant noise there was a party going on in the house behind us that was literally shaking our walls till 2:30 in the morning. Mine knew we have 14 grandchildren under the age of eight including a couple of babies.
There is a movie theater system that looks really cool on pictures, but don’t get too excited because it doesn’t work.
I was suggest bringing sheets from home if you’re used to sleeping comfortably, but if your used to sleeping on sandpaper, you should be fine. I did end up purchasing some for the Marshalls down the road..
On a positive note, we still got to see our family and spend time with our grandchildren and regardless of the poor conditions being with family is always fun. We just won’t be staying here again..

"Rocky Top Vacation
Beautiful large home with accommodations for all ages. Spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. Management company was amazingly responsive to questions and minor issues we had. The day before we were given a check/in time, but on our travels there we were given a 1.5 hour delay due to cleaning. The house is large, so it is understandable they needed more time. Plan accordingly and be prepared for a possible check-in delay."

"Large Family Dream
Our family vacation in the Smokies was comfortable and entertained in this lovely spacious home. First Smokies rental our family has all agreed on booking again for our next vacation.
Very clean on arrival. Maintenance was promp in responding to text and sending maintenance.
We did have a few issues that were challenging for our large group. Refrigerator wasn’t maintaining its appropriate temperature and by the end of the week we had spoiled food. Maintenance came to evaluate a few times, noting the problem but didn’t change the fridge out.
Also, the air conditioning in the kitchen was not strong enough to cool the room. There were 3 floor vents blowing air and the room needed at least 6. We used fans to blow cool air from nearby room which helped some. The rest of the house had perfect air conditioning. Both of these issues are still not enough to keep us away. Home was still wonderful and we’ll certainly be returning!
Overall would encourage other large family to stay too! "

"Great, large space but dirty and needs TLC & updating badly
The house and property are amazing with 9 bedrooms and so much space! It also has some really unique features- the sauna, videogame, movie room and the splash pad was a big hit with our kids and we enjoyed the big screen outside as well! Unfortunately, the house was not very clean with really dirty carpets and rugs that desperately need to be replaced. All the woodwork was VERY dirty and would look a thousand times better if they would just take a magic eraser to it or paint. Don't think we'll be back to the Pillars unless some serious updating and a deep cleaning occurs."

This home offers so much hang out space and easy access to venues. We noticed right away it needs a deep cleaning. It also had extremely slow wifi. We ended having to use someone’s hotspot and it was still slow. Bring additional blankets there is no additional bedding. "

"Amazing family vacation at The Pillars
The Pillars gives you so many options for gathering with family or sitting quietly in a room reading or catching up on emails. The home is beautiful and well maintained. The kids loved the basketball court (but need to catch those balls before they roll down the hill), the splash pad and the movie theatre downstairs. So many options for everyone to do. Loved the huge kitchen for our family meals. Great location overlooking Pigeon Forge. Will definitely stay again. The management team stayed in constant contact with us which was very encouraging. "

"Awesome space for retreats
We enjoyed holding a marriage retreat in this location. It was perfect for what we needed, we were able to use the theater as our meeting space for all our sessions, there was plenty to do during free time with basketball, the hot tub, pool table, And more. It was plenty big enough to be able to spread out and have privacy when needed as well. Love the kitchen, would highly recommend for large groups. "

"Great place for a gathering
The location for this place is perfect as you’re in your own zone but just a couple minutes from the main strip. And it’s got so much room for everyone to gather and yet have your own space. And the outside setup is awesome to enjoy the evenings together. The 16 person hot tub is absolutely awesome for a large group. And you couldn’t find a more spacious kitchen that is unreal huge. "

"Birthday shenanigans
House was beautiful. We arrived one of the guest beds was not made, broken window with plastic covering it. Stove door wouldn't close. When someone came and made the bed a different comforter was made on top of previous bed linen. Customer service never answered the phone. Did I mention house was beautiful. My first planning and things went south from the start. We had to make it work!another guest had a soaked bed that was made up! Needless to say when housekeeping did come by they left a bag of sheets in the kitchen on the counter, guessing as a guest O make my own bed. Dirty towels in a closet on the floor. Housekeeping and safety was not a priority for this beautiful home and for the money I paid, never again! I have pictures of all things mentioned in case you feel this review is a little unsatisfactory. There was no compensation and no one reached out to check on us with this broken window that they knew about from previous guest and still rented this beautiful house to us instead of offering something else. "

"Spacious Home
My overall holiday was enjoyable. The home was spacious enough that we were never crowded with 22 people. My family was pleased with the roominess, location and the view of the home. I have been staying with Elks Springs for over 5 years and this was the most outdated property in terms of furnishings and house upgrades. I was disappointed when comparing it to other properties in the same resort. I think with some upgrades and thorough deep cleaning it would be at same standard as other properties in the group. "

"A Manion on a Hill
Beautiful home. Looks just like the photos. Plenty of space for my destination wedding weekend. The house wasn't filthy, but could definitely use a deep cleaning (i.e. dusty, smelly garbage disposal, dead bugs in window seals).
Another issue was all the TV's had several remotes. One to control the power/volume and another to change the channel. That kinda confused some of my guests, but overall everyone was well pleased with the accomodations."

"The view made up for a lot.
We planned a family trip and chose The Pillars to accommodate all of us. The location was great and the view was phenomenal but the house was not the greatest. We were very upset after making our way through the house. The first night we slept there, our bedroom with the balcony squeaked the entire night. Every time we moved it was loud. The dishwasher leaked all over the first night for us to find broken glass from the previous renters. It honestly needs a cleaning crew as the baseboards and under the beds were caked in dust! All in all it was okay because it accommodated all of us, but after renting through elk springs multiple times and always having 5 star reviews, we were just a bit disappointed. "

"Beautiful house, just not well kept
The overall stay was great! The house is conveniently located and had it been clean, it would have been the best kept secret in Tennessee. I was notified via text, 30 minutes before my arrival, that the house wasn't going to be ready for a couple hours. Not a great start, but not the worst. At least give them time to leave us a clean house. NOT! Bathrooms were not properly sanitized and clean. There was towels and trash left near the hot tub. So nothing gave me confidence that the hot tub was drained and cleaned so we didn't use it. The grill was NASTY and we had to clean it to use it. The patio furniture had stains and tears that were not inviting. Again, my family had to take time to clean and sanitize just for comfort. The doors had cob webs that should have been removed from entering the house. The theater room was nice, but why are there so many remotes to navigate through? Thank God for Engineers in the family, UGH! I loved that pots, pans, dishes, and a laundry room was available! I don't mean to sound negative because the property is beautiful, however, the cleanliness is not up to our standards. Lastly, staff were nice and willing to help, but then there was a breakdown. I would call for trash removal from the bins because they were full. Then I'd get a text from someone asking me if by trash was full. If I didn't text back, they wouldn't come. I shouldn't have to text back. I called to have the trash picked up. I just want you to do it or I wouldn't have called. Very complex situation because my family pulled together to make it a positive experience. A home that nice will require a team of cleaners with good work ethics and attention to detail."

UNDERWHELMING TO DISAPPOINTING
examples--floors were very dirty (couldn't walk in the house barefoot or your feet would be black(
),supply of cooking utensils and pans very limited, the hot tub was disgusting and not serviced-did not use, outside patio furniture filthy and stained, the outside patio dirty, leaves and definity not cleaned and swept. When arrived both in and out theaters were not working, a shower was broke beyond a quick repair (floor cracked), another shower would not drain. These are just a few of the issues. We called the management company who was responsive to our calls. We only called on the things we felt could be repaired in a timely manner. it should not be the renters responsibilty to report issues that are so obvious. Are the homes not inspected prior to a check in? Does the cleaning staff not clean showers to see the issues there?"

"Would probably stay again
Property was as described. Location was great. Property was clean enough. The decor of the home could use some updating. Curtains, art, paint colors, bedspreads, etc. are all out dated but doesn't affect use of the home. Theater room was great for our group. Kitchen appliances worked fine. Communication with property management was great. The mattresses were okay. I would not want to sleep on them for more than a couple of nights. All in all I'd recommend the property and we'd stay here again."

"Not What We Expected
Paid hella money for a home that needs alot of upkeep (pictures are deceiving). Dining room chairs were wobbly or broken so chairs not usable; cobwebs at front exterior along the front stoop pillars entryway; active wasp next above balcony on front bedroom; stairwell cream rug heavily soiled; beds loudly creek with every turn and movement in the beds; gas pit was out of propane so not used by us; splash zone would not come on based on the posted instructions; seating window cushions in kitchen heavily soiled; refrig barely kept items cold (we bought ice and coolers) and ovens barely heated so it took forever to cook but we managed; towles and washclothes were rough and stiff (glad we brought our own). Downstairs bathroom across from bunk room need crack in shower floor repaired - opens up when in shower and water seeps down in it plus it is a sharps hazard - grey/black residue on shower grout - not sure if it was mold. Positive: great location and close to shopping as well as Tanger outlet. "

"Perfect space for large group
The house is as advertised, but not in pristine condition maintenance wise. However, it was clean. We are a family of 20 that do not need fancy and The Pillars was perfect with large kitchen and outdoor space. All the outdoor tables, chairs, and picnic tables were great. The outdoor TV screen and kitchen were perfect. Negatives were the hot tub was not hot and the air conditioner failed on the second floor. Repair people were prompt for the air conditioner but had to come again and replace a part. Good news is it was functioning by 11pm for a cool nights sleep. Hot tub never got hot. The kitchen could use a cook to figure out equipment needed and location but that is minor. "

"Large & Dirty
If your looking for a large estate type home this home is it. However, it is not up to our standards for the cost. If you are traveling with elderly that have trouble with steps or hills this is not a good choice. Not to mention the shower/Tub on the main level is not for the handicap or elderly. The bathtub on the mail level has mold around the chalked area. The Air conditioning on the main level needs a major overhaul. The AC went out while we stayed here. The maintenance man did come over however he was extremely rude with one of guest that is actually a HVAC technician and asked him some questions. There were clumps of hair in the bedrooms/bathrooms. The dust bunnies were horrible. The kitchen is definitely large,however, the doors and drawers are falling off and in much need of updating. The pictures on this home make it look very clean and tidy and thats not the case. One of our guest plugged in a phone upstairs in their room and the circuit breaker blew to 2 other rooms upstairs.The house is large and finding the breaker box which was located downstairs in the bunk room behind a closet door was a task. The carpeting leading to the basement is filthy and the walls look just as bad. The grass in the front of the house had not been mowed and was knee high. The kitchen has plenty of eating utensils,plates,bowls and glassware. However, the cooking utensils, pots pans etc were lacking for a large party of 30. The hottub did not work properly for our stay and obviously the people before us reported it also because maintenance was there during our stay and said they had to order parts. If you plan on having additional guests over to BBQ or celebrate a special occasion there is definitely NOT enough trash cans in the bear proof cages. We found at least 60 nails in the driveway and had to clean them up THis home has ALOT of potential however you can tell the owner only cares about the money he is making off the house and is not investing any money back into it."

"Large property but very dated
I was actually disappointed with the appearance of the property. The pictures make the properly look like a beautiful estate but when you arrive it’s just a very large old house. While it did meet our basic needs it certainly was not what I expected. The grass needed to be cut, the patio was filthy and the “hot tub” that looks like a pool wasn’t working or we couldn’t figure it out. We made the best of things but it wasn’t what we’d home for and the outside audio equipment never worked properly. Thank god we brought our own entertainment. Now if you’re in a large group and want space it’s fine. But don’t get sucker in by the picture they aren’t accurate. "

"Marriage Retreat
We had an awesome time, very spacious. The venue was in a location close to shopping centers and restaurants. My only concern was the bedding, they really need to be changed out. The are old and has been washed to many times, some had holes and others had lent balls in the inside. The downstairs master bathroom was poorly clean, looks like it wasn't clean in months."

"New home away from home
My family and I really enjoyed the Pilors House, great location, easy to get to and close to all the attractions. Overall the house was clean, and very comfortable. We had alot of kids and they stayed entertained with games and movies the entire time. We took advantage of everything the home had to offer, theater, jacuzzi, patio w/fireplace and grills. Unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn't getting hot enough for most of the adults but the kids enjoyed it. I received lots of kudos on the pick of the home. Thanks for a great stay! "

"Beautiful house, service questionable
The house was magnificent with plenty of space to spare when we took 10 people with us. The hot tub was awesome, but we never got to use it. It did not heat up correctly and by the time they came out to fix it, we had to leave next morning. So we never used it but it was huge. The theatre, spa, outdoor amenities were fantastic. The only complaint was the cleanliness. The house itself was spectacular and clean. But two of our guests who stayed in 2 bedrooms upstairs found hairs and stains on both of their sheets and resorted to us washing them ourselves. There was grease splashed on the refrigerator which we cleaned ourselves as well. Everything else looked great. Once we left, we received a text saying that some items were left behind but they could not tell us what it was and would not release it to us and insisted we would have to tell them what was missing and then pay shipping on them sending it back to us rather than letting us come grab them while we were still in town. We realized one thing that was missing and that wasn’t what they found. What we missed they never found until we told them where it was. So after paying nearly $7,000.00 for 3 nights, now we are getting hit up with shipping charges for one item and have no idea what else was missing because they wouldn’t tell us I’m not even sure how they can do that. But was thoroughly disappointed at this point. To the owners of the home, gorgeous and loved the stay there. The Elk Springs Resort, you may want to rethink how you handle people’s items left behind. We all had so much stuff we may not have noticed yet what is missing and may never know because you won’t tell us. We come to Pigeon Forge every year for Christmas, but next year we will use another rental company. "

"Our Pillar Stay
The Pillar was a great stay, the kitchen was equipped with enough dishes to feed our entire party, and it was enough room for everybody throughout the house to not feel crowded. The only thing I didn’t care for was I thought every King size bedroom came with a bathroom and that wasn’t the case. There were a total of 7 bathrooms, however, 4 bathrooms were in the basement, two were on the second floor and 1 1/2 was on the main floor. The master suite was also on the main floor and had to share a bathroom. "

"First timer to that area
The place itself was beautiful but the cleaning was awful. Hair in the shower,floor was dirty hadn't been swept nor mop.The outside equipment was falling apart. Maintenance had to come fix the dish washer and it smelled as if it hadn't been clean.We paid to much money for those conditions.I will not recommend this area nor will we return."

"Ask questions, Pics are not exact.
I was okay at best, but surely not what the pics made it out to be. Whoever took the pics should win an Oscar for best pictures staging a home. It had everything the description mentioned, however several guest were very disappointed for the limited personal bathrooms. Out of 7 1/2 baths , No masters bathroom, except for in the basement & kids room. And the property was very old smelling, out dated ( especially the theater in & outdoors.The beds were horrible very & uncomfortable. The best part was the kitchen and the hot tub. As the Host..I had to apologize a lot for the lacking of the property. For the price we paid, we expected a better experience. However: a a positive note, the property management team was very on point and was extremely attentive to any issues. I grade them an A..."

"Where was Hazel?
This was a Leadership retreat, but we allowed one family to bring their kids. Based on the pictures we had planned out where the different training would take place. Unfortunately, the home was extremely dirty, from the moment we walked in we could see the dust on the furniture the trash on the steps inside and out. The housekeeper was a young woman with her 3 kids , who appeared under the age of 10. There were food stains on the walls in the kitchen from the guest before. There were gnats in the kitchen, as we cleaned we found a plate of food hidden in one of the kitchen drawers. There were ants on the counters. The outdoor furniture was so dirty we could not use it. The grill caught on fire. Two of the bedrooms had dirty sheets. My husband got stuck in the bathroom within the first hour.The ceiling fan in the family room was a safety hazard. The pizza oven and smoker were unusable because they were so dirty."

From the booking and check in process to leaving, this was the perfect retreat. The Pillars is beautiful and cozy with plenty of space and room for rest and/or entertainment. The kitchen area is a real win that at one point fit up to 60 people comfortably standing around talking. It is very close to grocery stores and outings with incredible views. We loved it and would stay again. "

"Family & Friends Mountain trip
The house was beautiful, it was clean, there was plenty of room for 20 of us to sleep. The kids loved the theater room, and the pool table and games. Us adults loved the outside big screen to watch football games, while sitting by the fire. It is in a great location and isn't hard to find. You can see downtown Pigeon Forge from the house. It's also motorcycle friendly. We had 3 in our group that drove motorcycles. I would recommend this property for family gatherings. We plan to come back again. "

"House was dirty
We paid 8900 to stay in this home. The home was nice but dirty. The patio area outside was full of leaves and debris that we had to pay someone 150 to come out and clean so we could enjoy the outside area. Keep in mind this is the summer months so why it was so dirty we have no idea. The grill was disgusting and filthy. We also had to pay to have this all cleaned and taken care of before we could even use the stuff at the property. We were then charged fees that aren't accurate and really just pushed us over the edge. I will never recommend this home especially for the price. Cant believe we spent so much and still had to clean up after the last tenants and then more. "

Rented this property to celebrate our 91 year old grandmother. We had the best time here at The Pillars. The house did the majority of the work itself. With visitors of all ages, everyone was happy. I would definitely plan a stay here again for any vacation."

"Fun Week in Pigeon Forge!
My family had a great week in Pigeon Forge. The house was great. There was enough room for the entire group without feeling like we were on top of each other the whole week. The location was perfect. Using the bypass road it was easy to get anywhere in town without nearly as much traffic. Highly recommend and we plan to return!"

"Memorial Day Weekend Stay
The whole weekend was amazing! The house is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed all of the amenities and also being close to town.
We had a minor issue with the hot tub that was fixed promptly. The splash pad was also fixed (brown water) however it cleared up for about half a day and then went back to brown. Otherwise everything was great.
For future renters having a floor plan available would have been helpful for large groups.
We would definitely stay again!

"Mansion in the mountains
The location of this house couldn’t be better if you are looking for seclusion just minutes from town. Beautiful home with all the amenities you could ask for. We only had one minor hiccup, the door code originally sent was incorrect but after a few minutes on the phone it was remotely corrected and all was well. Our experience was great. "

"Amazing
Took 9 couples of friends (18 total) for a get away weekend and had an amazing time. Guys sat outside and watched football all day. Hot tub is huge and fireplace roared all weekend. Some of the best beds over slept in period. Even though we didn’t bring kids on this trip, they would have had a blast as well. Look forward to going back. It’s so close to everything in pigeon forge. "
