One hour prior to check in, we received a text stating that our cabin check in was delayed to 4:00 pm. When we called, the woman that answered the phone was so rude. She said that the check in time is "just an estimate." Once we were allowed in the cabin, there was still trash there. The dishwasher smelled so bad that we refused to use it. The worst part was when we lost ALL running water. We called because we couldn't use the toilets, wash our hands, anything. We had to call a bunch of different numbers, and no one answered any of the lines. Once we finally reached someone, the customer service was again super rude and hung up on us! How can they legally rent out a cabin with no running water. We had to leave the cabin and go into town so our children could use the bathroom and eat. We have heard that losing water has been an ongoing issue for years! There are problems with the wells due to the heat. If we had known this, we would have stayed somewhere else. FYI...if you're elderly or have someone elderly with you, the tub w/shower on the main floor doesn't have a shower bar for the elderly to hold onto and the 2nd bathroom with a stand up shower is on the lower level with two levels of stairs to get downstairs. The deck is also on the lower level. Because my grandfather can't do steps very well, we enjoyed the views from the living room instead (large windows). You may want to take a blanket for cool nights. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and large bathrooms. The cabin has an open concept that we loved. Would definitely stay again. They got into our garbage, but maintenance was available to help with the clean up, and fixing the bear-proof garbage cans. The pool area was really nice and clean. The restaurant at the pool, Coco Cantina was amazing. The food was so fresh and very reasonable in pricing. The cabin was located about 15-20 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge, and 25 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Thanks for a great vacation spot! Highly recommend!" First of all, both bathrooms are located inside the bedrooms so if someone who is sleeping in the loft area needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, then he/she has to go through one of the bedrooms. The other is the pictures of the balcony are misleading. It is much smaller than it appears on the website and is on the lower level so the view is not as good as from the main floor windows. A beautiful cabin very clean but...there are much nicer more private cabins out there for a cheaper price. This one did not feel as cozy compared to others we have stayed in. Also the amount of signs in the cabin telling you don't do this or don't do that or your card will be charged was pretty annoying. My own home is far nicer then any of these cabins and I would never have guests over and give them a list of rules that could potentially cost them money. It just doesn't make someone feel comfortable with a constant threat of being charged if something breaks. No other cabin I've ever stayed had so many rules. We get it treat it better then your own. I counted over fourteen signs throughout the cabin threatening to charge my credit card. I mean one said don't put hot pan on kitchen table or you will be charged. How about the table was bowing in the center and needed to be replaced. Overall decent experience based on veiw and location but we would not return. And was only pointing out what was wrong. the pool sticks were broken the hockey table was broken and the pacman barely worked.the downstairs smells like Pee the spa had no chlorine tablets in it and the water was dirty the oven top only had three eyes working. The air conditioning kept flipping off and would cause the evening temperature to be around 92° that's making us sleep downstairs where it smelled like Pee. All four of us sleep downstairs. This was not a vacation this was payment he to tell people what's wrong with her unit and I didn't appreciate the feedback I got from management, because there was none. The people at the front desk continue to tell me and say oh we're sorry for the delay somebody will call you and no one ever did . I will not be wasting my money here.
