The cabin does have access to a community pool which is a great way to cool off after hiking or a round of golf. It is perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing getaway with great views. We have been to the area several times and stayed in different areas and I believe this is the third cabin we have stayed at located in this area and managed by Elk Springs Resort. They are by far the best property management company we have dealt with and I would most definitely stay at this same cabin again." A very, well maintained house, but we didn't like the faux/pretend fireplace and the pathetic outdoor BBQ grill, which is nothing more than a metal box with a shallow grate/grill across its top, with barely enough room to spread charcoal. Recommend you bring your own grill if you want to cook this way. Jacuzzi is great, but waaaaay too much chlorine for our skin. We rented because of a Living Social coupon special, but it becomes much more expensive with all their additional add on expenses (read the fine print of your rental agreement!). All in all we enjoyed our 3 night stay, but I would not rent this type of place again. I would want a true cabin in the woods experience with amenities--you can find those. This place is just a property management company's log house rental on top of a big hill. But...., if that's your thing you'll love it." One thing I would improve on is that the cabin is in need of a deep clean. I lost an earring while sleeping, so I got a good look under & behind the bed. Furniture needs to be pulled out & dusted/vacuumed & the bed skirt needs replacing. I would still stay here again, because the bathrooms & kitchen were spotless. The park visitors' centers are about 1-1.5 hours away. Gatlinburg is 20-25 minutes away. Pigeon Forge is a 15 minute drive, on the way to the park." It was also very clean upon arrival. After spending the day in The Smoky Mountains, it was nice coming back to a relaxing cabin and a peaceful hot tub on the porch. The rental staff was friendly and professional and communication via email and text was seamless. The only issues with the cabin (and these are small issues) were a couple of the floor tiles in the master bath were loose and the door handle on the shower door was broken. The carpets could be shampooed. Based on the rest of the cabin, these were very small things that we just dealt with for our stay.
