Creekside cabins are hard to come by - if this cabin is available we suggest you book it quickly as the calendar will fill up far in advance. Escape to the mountains and enjoy relaxing on your covered deck with sights and sounds of the Webb Creek. Enjoy a fire outdoors in your fire pit, or gather indoors in your theater room with 9 foot theater screen, play a game of pool on the pool table or fire up one of the arcade games! (Multicade, Crusin USA). Many upgrades in this cabin including granite counter tops, woodburning fireplace in great room, fireplaces in each bedroom and smoker on the deck. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items. There wasn't any propane in the tank to grill, just had to make a phone call and someone came out the next day. The only thing I did not like was we ran out of toilet paper and had to go buy some. The website did say that we got a starter pack but when on vacation, I really don't want to have to worry about going and buying toilet paper. Other than that, the place was fantastic and we will be back again!" It was easy to access and nice not to have a long drive up the thin, winding mountain roads. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. The showers were wonderful, the beds were comfortable, and the game room/movie theater was a big hit with the kids (as was the hot tub). The creek was beautiful, however if you are wanting to actually go down to the creek it isn’t particularly easy to access. My only complaint is that there weren’t many towels or extra blankets available (there is a washer and dryer) and there were limited kitchen utensils and plates. Overall it was a cozy, clean cabin with a great view of the creek. Elk Springs provided excellent customer services and made sure to call and text to check in. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again." Both bedrooms have king beds and both of them open up to deck with the hot tub and views of the creek. Kitchen had the pots and pans for us to cook and enjoy a movie night on the home theater on a snowy day we experienced. Customer service was great when you called they answered and resolved issue very quick. Please keep in mind you will be 30 minutes from the activities in Gatlinburg and 40 from pigeon Forge. My only complaint would be the cleanest of the place the showers had a mildew smell and the furniture could use an update. We brought our own cleaning supplies and had to clean the showers before using and bedding had a hair when unfolding blankets. It is absolutely gorgeous and immaculately clean, and has every amenity you could want. We enjoyed the theater nightly and the hot tub was the cleanest one we've ever been in. Loved the firepit too. But the best part was always being able to hear the creek flowing past the cabin. We never wanted to leave and we miss it so much. It is a perfect cabin for 2 couples also and we plan on returning with family. Management checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and answered all our questions. The mattresses are pretty firm, but we are used to a very firm mattress. The hot tub was a comfortable temperature, but the jets weren't very strong. Things we weren't thrilled with: the smoker didn't work even though maintainance DID try to fix it, difficulty seeing as we backed out of the driveway, no access to the creek (long drop off), distance from town. This was our first time staying at a cabin and it is a beautiful cabin with everything we needed. A couple of things to note that aren’t in the description: The bedrooms are right next to each other and there is not a clear path to walk down to the water (it’s pretty steep). Pros: Everything was as described. The rooms are practically identical so no fighting over who gets the “better” room. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s very large and roomy. It was easy to find and the grocery store and Gatlinburg are not too far away. The pool table was amazing and the game systems were a nice thing to have as well. The kitchen had basic appliances and cookware. Enough to get by on vacation. The beds were comfy and there are plenty of blankets and pillows. The showers are amazing! You will not regret staying here for the showers alone! Cons (not really – just stuff to be aware of): The towels are cheap hotel quality – small and scratchy, I would bring some. The seats in the game room are super close to the screen and like a movie theater. Not super comfortable. The theater screen didn’t seem to be hooked up to the internet so you couldn’t access a streaming service to watch a movie. They are really firm about messing with that system so we didn’t try to figure out beyond the instructions. There wasn’t access to any cleaning supplies so you’ll need to bring them or make do with paper towels and water. There was a sticky spot in the game room that attracted tiny ants. The media/game room was so cool! The rental was very clean. I can't say enough good things about this place. the living area and both bedrooms have sliding doors that open to the creek and you can hear the rushing waters 24/7. The Inside of the cabin is cute but needs some upgrades. The beds were hard as a rock, most of the blinds need replacing, the washer doesn’t work well, and the place needs a good deep clean. The location on Webb Creek, although it was not as private as we expected. It is actually in a small subdivision and a road runs on the other side of the creek. It was certainly easy to get to. The shower was very nice and while we were only one couple staying here, the duplicate master bedrooms would be great for two couples. We enjoyed the decks and hot tub. The beds could be upgraded. The kitchen is adequately stocked but not great. We had a problem with ants in the kitchen area. We were careful to not leave food out, but if you left any food on the counter even for a short while it was covered with ants. We've been staying in the Smokies for over 40 years now and understand bugs happen. We enjoyed the fireplace and the cabin was well stocked with firewood. The property was clean but not immaculate. Overall we enjoyed our stay but can't give this cabin more than 3 stars. Customer service is great as always and we would rent with Elk Springs again, but not this cabin." We recently stayed at Talking Waters Cabin. The pics of the stream are deceiving. You have to climb down embankment to get to creek. The beds are horrible. Not enough cookware in the kitchen and the motorcycle game shown in pics is not there. The other two games are old and barely in working condition. For the money this place cost, I expected better. We will not stay here again. Oh and the living room/kitchen stayed hot and the a/c cannot be turned below 70 degrees. We were told to close off the other rooms to force air in living room. We didn't because the bedrooms would be hot. We were told to keep blinds closed and several of the vertical blinds were missing." The theatre didn’t work properly and an agent came and got it working, but it showed the same message related to the internet within 20 minutes of the agent leaving. The light fixtures were very dirty as well as windows. The cookware was so warped it was not very useable. There was a blanket I picked up and it smelled like body odor and tobacco but I just washed it. Other than that the cabin was fully functional and comfortable. The arcade games were fun. We never were able to get the media center to work but with the tv in the living room worked just fine. Definitely loved the sound of the Creek especially at night. This was actually the third cabin we had stayed in through elk springs resort, but It will definitely be our last due to things being handled so uncaringly. Upon arrival there was a very notable “raw sewage” scent present. Upon inspecting where I assumed the septic tank was located I noticed standing water. It had rained recently, so I had hoped there was nothing to worry about. Instead though the septic tank was in fact full. A pump service was unable to come out until the following day. In the meantime, no courtesy call from elk springs just to check in with us. There were massive weeds growing in front of the balcony obstructing the view of the creek. The fire pit area was also incredibly grown up with weeds, along with a beer box containing trash and debris. I did take the time to remove the weeds just to make for a more enjoyable stay. The pictures of the cabin shows a motorcycle game in the game room which is no longer there. Needless to say my kids were incredibly disappointed. So this is what I would consider false advertising since you are essentially paying extra for a loaded game room. There were chip crumbs in the floor and pull sofa which obviously had not been properly cleaned. Upon calling to speak with a manager I was unpleasantly told there was not one available and asked if this person could call me back because she would be unable to fully listen to my issues at that time. Needless to say I never received a return phone call. Please don’t waste your hard earned money booking a cabin through a company who does value customer service and only your money. There were a few maitaince issues but although they could not be fixed right away they were quickly addressed, and did not affect our stay in a negative way. There were a few cleaning issues but overall it was decent. The washer and dryer smelled, the blinds were broken, toilet paper holders and pool cue rack were broken off the wall, and outside lights did not work. We found some left items from a previous guest that should have been cleaned up. The electronics in the media room didn't work properly. The worst part was the water heater went out. We specifically booked this cabin because of the large double showers. Cold showers with almost no pressure is not vacation. We received no discount on our stay and were told it would be reviewed. We never received a call back even after I called several times.
