We've had visitors travel over 1,600 miles just to see and experience the craftsmanship and luxury of the Silvercreek. 3 Separate suites with King size beds and a 4th bedroom featuring 2 sets of twin bunk beds for the kids. 6 TV's and DVD Players, Pool Table, Hot Tub, Gas Grill and Air Hockey table are all standard amenities. Enter on the main level to the great room, there is one suite with king sized bed and the kitchen, dining, and separate laundry room with side by side washer / dryers. Upstairs is a loft sitting and sleeping area with suite and kids bunk room (2 sets of twin bunks). The lower level is a huge game room with pool table, air hockey, wet bar and sleeper sofa. Another suite with full bath and Jacuzzi tub is also on the lower level. Originally designed as a 6 bedroom, 2 bedrooms were removed to enable more living space for less guests. This cabin has 3 distinct areas for guests to gather so that someone can always find a quiet place in the cabin. A desk is available on the main level if you need to work and there is Free Wireless High-Speed Internet included in this cabin. There was amenities for everyone from 70+ year olds to 10 year olds. Swimming, pickleball courts, pool, air hockey, video games, movie theater, and space, space, space!! The bathroom vanities need replaced or at least repaired and painted. The amenities were great. We enjoyed games and especially the pickleball court. The biggest problem we had as the smell in the pool room. It was almost unbearable. When we arrived the HVAC did not appear to be running. We called and they came right away and said a breaker had tripped. The pool was the main reason we picked this cabin so we were very disappointed that the smell never resolved. We even went and got air fresheners and odor absorbers. The other issue we had was the fireplace outside didn’t work. When we had the maintenance man look at it he said he didn’t know about that and shut gas main off. We were looking forward to using that so we were disappointed about that. The other issue was a moldy odor in the basement. The exterior door could all use some better locks. Master bedroom on main level has huge gap at the bottom. Cabin has a lot of good things but could use some attention. Elk Springs staff was attentive and responsive. Lots of room to move around each other in the common areas, to be all together in the same space and not on top of each other. Lots of sleeping options for the kids too. Cabin was very clean. My only suggestion would be to take out the “Mountain View” from the description. It is a beautiful wooded view but a very distant mountain is only visible in the far corner of the bocce ball pit area, not from any balcony, window or deck. Maybe some of the other elk springs cabins can see mountains, just not silvercreek. It is still a lovely location though. We also loved the alarms on the gate and door to the pool house." We had several children with us and were looking forward to using the theatre system - it did not work the entire time we were there (we even had a repair person come twice - but could not get it to work). The pool area was great; but the outside decks were dirty and in very poor condition. The pictures showed some nice outside furniture; this was not the case - only had four rocking chairs that were chipped and falling apart. The only seating area in the living room was a sectional - it was falling apart - in horrible condition and very dirty. Many of the bed pillows did not have pillow cases on them - could not find any. The pictures made the property look nicer than it was. There were cobwebs in many places on the inside of the cabin." We enjoyed the pool and the space made it so we were always gathered together, even when we may be doing different things. Kitchen was great, bedrooms were comfy. We did have maintenance come out to reset the golden tee and the other games, while they did turn on, none of the controls worked and they eventually went dark, seems like they needs some maintenance or new machines altogether. Theater system is great, but there is not cable which is in the instructions but figured I’d call it out. We hooked up laptops and streamed and it worked great." I’d give 5 stars but there are some very small things I had “issue” with that I didn’t like. First small issue was the lack of useful items in the cabin. I’ve stayed at multiple Air BnBs where former guest left seasonings in the kitchen, dish detergent, toilet paper etc, but this cabin come with very little items and per the resort’s request, nothing is to be left in the kitchen for the next guest. That leads to purchasing those types of items and then throwing them away once you leave which is just wasteful. I can’t fly with kitchen and bathroom stuff, and whose gonna try to find a local shelter to give it to while on vacation lol. Second small issue was that if you didn’t call for trash service, no one would pick it up. With a cabin that size you’d like to think trash service would come at least once a week but it didn’t. However when I called they came within the hour. I also recommend some sort of recycling bin which would lead to less trash in the cans. Lastly was the pool room. Awesome set up and it was used daily, but b/c the thermostat is secured we couldn’t use the a/c unit which made that room steamy and muggy. Swimming was nice but it was too hot to relax next to the pool. Yes these are minor things but the cabin wasn’t cheap so at that price point I expected the absolute best. Other than those things, this place was awesome and it was close to everything!" Plenty of places to sleep and the triple bunk bed area is actually very sturdy and a cool little den style escape. The king bedrooms and their bathrooms are beautiful. The only disappointment we had the entire trip was that the Bubble Hockey machine wasn’t working. One of the goals was knocked off and their wasn’t a puck. Not a huge deal at all, but when you and your friends love hockey.. it was a slight bummer. I would 1000% recommend this cabin and I’m positive that this same group will make a return in the future! I was really disappointed with the house not being very clean and I had to clean it myself. I didn’t really want to have somebody in there cleaning it with all our stuff in there. When we first got there the games weren’t working the movie theater screen wasn’t working. They did send somebody right out and they got that fixed. The ice maker didn’t work. We found out the hard way that the floors become EXTREMELY slippery when wet. Both my father and my daughter slipped and fell down the stairs. My father was ok, thankfully but my daughter dislocated her knee and earned herself an ambulance ride and 4 hour stay at the local hospital ER to reset it. I would recommend some doormats to wipe feet when coming in from the decks after using the pool or even when it’s raining outside. There should be warnings that the floors are slippery and shoes should be worn at all times inside the house. I would also recommend somewhere to hand wet swim suits to dry. There were also not enough bath towels for 14 guests. We were out of towels every day and were constantly doing laundry. This was with using our pool towels from home. Maintenance was very responsive and courteous. Everytime I had an issue, they came right out to address it. A/C worked great on all 3 levels of the home, kitchen was sufficiently stocked, kids enjoyed the game room and pool. Overall, this was a wonderful trip! There were things to do in this unit everywhere you looked - the game room's theater seats are such a nice, unique touch that made it easy for our group to play games/watch shows together. There were three fridges so we didn't have to worry about storage space for food or drinks. The pool room was well maintained and a perfect size. I loved that it had a bathroom/changing room in it so that we didn't need to walk back inside every time. Only complaint is that there were not nearly enough trash cans in the unit (only small trash in the bathrooms and one in the kitchen - nothing in the pool room or the game room). A centralized bathroom would have been nice as well but our group made due without it. During our stay, the hot tub was not functioning but again, we made due without it. All in all, I would say this unit far exceeded my expectations. It is actually much larger and more spacious in person than it appears in the photos. Would absolutely recommend to a friend. The description and pictures were very misleading compared to what we walked into. First of all, there are no Mountain Views from any part of this property. You are living on a mountain, but the cabin is surrounded by trees on every side. While the pictures were “accurate”, there has been a significant lack of upkeep- the deck and rocking chairs were covered in bugs and spider webs and are heavily used/run down. The arcade games did not work. The pool was filthy with cloudy water. There was no picnic table on the deck as advertised and the property was infested with centipedes on the lower and main levels. The stocked kitchen lacked large enough pots/pans for a group of 15, so I would recommend bringing your own if you stay here. I wouldn’t say the property was dirty, but it definitely wasn’t clean. I will say that the customer service was very good and professional. Our garbage was picked up promptly each day, and they did send a serviceman out for the pool when we called. We had called ahead to inquire about the kitchen and dining supplies so that we could properly prepare for our week long stay. Our 11 person family was eating 3 meals plus snacks every day in the cabin. The response was not as detailed as hoped but we were ensured that there was enough to serve 18. In reality there is 6 forks total, and not even more than 11 spoons and knives. This was a daily struggle. The pool was extremely dirty, cloudy and the pool room covered in mold or algae which has a very strong odor. While the outdoor trash receptacle is secure and sturdy to keep bears out, we had to call for a trash removal Mid way through our stay. We left a message and someone called back and stated they would be there first thing in the am. They did not come. We had our garbage in the cabin so it to attract bears. We had to call again and finally in the early evening someone arrived. We were also under the impression that the cabin stay would include dish soap and laundry soap but it only provided enough for one load of each. There were not any paper towels or napkins nor was there ample amounts of toilet paper. Upon leaving, and heading 8-12 hours back to our homes, we realized we left behind an iPad. We immediately called but it took several days for someone to get back to us. We are still waiting on a response as to where our iPad is. One of our family members has special needs and requires his Ipad for communication. We feel that with a bit more attention to detail and prompt service that this would be an excellent stay. It appears that updates are also in flight, such as the new kitchen. The deck in the rear of the property is in bad shape and needs total replacement. The carpeting in the basement is also musty smelling and needs to be replaced, as does the leather furniture in the basement theater space. I would also recommend a better surround system to accompany the theater setup. The showers in the three bathrooms should also be redone, with the cheaper inserts ripped out and replaced with stone and granite and higher end shower fixtures, such as spray jets. Having shower curtains in such a higher end cabin is just shoddy and cheap, and with the large size of the bathroom space, I would make all three showers larger in size. I would also upgrade all televisions to flat screen, smart televisions that allow for Chrome or Air casting from phones or laptops. The addition that is currently being built to provide a small indoor pool that connects to the basement will be awesome. If this cabin in particular gets some needed updates as I described, my family and I would not only return, but would be even more interested in purchasing the cabin. The location of the cabin and the planned community is spectacular, insomuch as it is super easy to get to Pigeon Forge, via the backroads (the hilariously named Boogertown Road), or to get to the local grocery store or downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin is huge with nice amenities such as hot tub, 2 jaccuzzi tubs, air hockey, theater screen, billiards table, large dining area and wrap around deck. The cabin has a nice arrangement of gathering spaces and privacy. We did encounter some issues this time. The toilets ran slow so you had to monitor those. The dryer did not work, but the resort accommodated us with a few towel exchanges because nothing seemed to air dry well. The garbage disposal made a terrible noise and the refrig/freezer didn't keep things cold until the third day we were there. If TV is important to you, the TV in the main level is very tiny for the space and is the only TV outside of the bedrooms. It does not look like the one pictured. Our other concern is that the resort does not offer or encourage recycling. It would be nice to have a recycling bin somewhere on the property. The customer service is great at this resort. They really do try to take care of you and remedy any issues that arise. We plan to return and that is the best compliment!" All the electrical outlets on the left side in the kitchen didn't work. The dryer made a horrific sound. The toilet in the main level bathroom didn't work properly. They didn't pickup the trash from the outside bins in our 6 day stay so at some point we had no more space to dump it. When we arrived we had many dead bugs througout the cabin and lots of live bugs in the kitchen. The grill is small for a cabin that can sleep that many. It's missing a table in the outer deck at the level where the grill is, that would be a huge plus.
