Located on Webb Creek, visitors have been known to catch trout in the this active creek. Enjoy relaxing on your private covered deck and listening to the sounds of the creek. Bedroom and Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1: King Bed - Sleeps 2 ** This cabin is brand new and will book quickly. Since it was recently listed there are several open dates - we suggest booking as dates will fill up quickly. *** A Kiss On The Creek is located near Cobbly Nob, about 15 minutes from Elk Springs Resort main property, and only 20 minutes to stop light #3 in Gatlinburg. There is easy access to this cabin during peak travel as it's off highway 321 in Gatlinburg. Enjoy sights and sounds of the creek from your covered deck Theater Room with 9 Foot Theater Screen Covered Deck with wood burning fireplace Hot Tub Upgraded bedding Pool Table Granite Countertops and upgraded kitchen Wood Burning Fireplace (inside) Free WIFI Washer/Dryer Private and Secluded Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin. We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items. This cabin is professionally managed by in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. We also loved sitting on the back porch and watching and listening to the creek. It was very peaceful. There was a cabin on either side yet quiet and felt secluded. This is our new favorite cabin! We will definitely rent again. There was one thing that was bothersome and that was the wood smoke smell from the chimney. The drive to Gatlinburg was approximately 20 minutes which wasn’t bad.The management group Elk Springs- everyone that I talked to was very helpful and kind. Couldn’t ask for any better." Check your packing list though This was a very nice cabin! Seemed to be a new build or newly renovated. The cabin was clean when we got there and had most of the things needed for vacation. A couple notes for travelers we didn’t think about: bring extra toilet paper and paper towel (they give you a “starting supply” of 1 roll of each. Also, bring your own hand soap! They provide small coin sized bars of soap that don’t last long and do not have a soap dish to put them in. You may want to bring your own Tupperware as well if you intend to cook there, 5 very small containers were provided and did not hold much. Lastly, the cabin could really use a bigger sauce pan to cook in. There were many pot options but only one small pan. Other than the few extras to put on your packing list, the cabin was fantastic. It provided everything we needed and more. There was enough entertainment at the cabin from the pool table, to the creek, to the theatre room that you could stay there all day and never be bored. But when you do want to leave, it is only a 15 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg and pretty much on the main road. It is not secluded, neighbors are right next door. My husband and I stayed at this location for 7 nights. It was a decent price for the amenities that it came with, and the property was clean for the most part. When we first arrived, I noticed that the cabin had quite a few cobwebs in the ceiling/bed post of the main bedroom and spider webs hanging from the main area ceiling. The main bathroom shower also had a lot of cob/spider webs. The stone shower is a great aesthetic but needs a deep cleaning from top to bottom. The cabin did come fully stocked with dishes, towels, a small supply of laundry detergent, and linen. The check-in/check-out process was seamless and easy. I do wish that the swing by the creek was cleaned before arriving; it was occupied by many spiders and their webs.Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to enjoy it. The location of this cabin sits on the outskirts of Gatlinburg and is about 25-30 minutes from Pigeon-forge. Overall, we enjoyed this cabin and would recommend it. The floors were filthy, like they hadn’t been swept or mopped in awhile. One of the kitchen dinette chairs was about to lose the legs off of the chair. I always bring disinfect wipes with us and I definitely used them on the counter tops, had dust and crumbs on them. The extra bathroom toilet paper holder was about to fall off the wall. The log bed was beautiful but very hard to get in and out of. I’m not sure if we would book another cabin through Elk Springs Resort again. For the price we paid to rent this cabin, we expected everything to be on point and perfect but sadly it wasn’t." We felt close enough to all the things we wanted to do, yet tucked away from the crowds and traffic. The hot tub was especially nice and the back porch is really fun to sit on and listen to the breeze through the trees and the sound of the creek. The theater room was great. We enjoyed watching movies and relaxing. It was an easy drive to get popcorn and pizza from Cobbly Nobb market and deli the first night. And getting into town was no problem. The cabin is very close to the arts and crafts community and if you go over that way, we recommend Three Johnnys and Split Rail Eats for food options. We had to have maintenance come out for a faulty cord with the theater room but they were super fast and helpful, in and out quickly, and took care of everything. The cabin had what we needed for a nice stay with good supplies. I do think the bed is high - it made it hard to get in and out of but that was okay. Having a second bathroom when you are in a one bedroom cabin is a wonderful bonus and it's right off the theater room which makes it nice for a quick break. Communication with Elk Springs Resort was absolutely fantastic. We had all the information we needed - from directions on using the theater system to good routes to arrive, etc. We would definitely stay here again. Which made the cabin incredibly stuffy and hot during the night. We couldn’t move the air because there was no fans in the room and it was a few degrees colder than 70 during the night so the AC wouldn’t kick on. We called 4 times for them to ask if we could but they refused to let us set it below 70. We didn’t sleep at all at night and were more tired leaving than when we got there. This has been our 3rd year booking with Elk Springs, and I am not too impressed with our stay. 1. The floor was messed up from someone previously staying. We pay lots of money for a cabin and I understand things happen, but telling me a little piece of the floor is messed up is a big difference from what we had. The laundry room door would not shut due to the boards being warped. They did not apologize or offer a discount on our stay. Which made me upset considering we are repeating guest - again this is our 3rd time booking with elk springs. 2. Secondly the light on the porch did not work. We didn’t call because it was manageable to not have. 3. They told us our cabin was ready and when we got there it was not - maintenance was still there. We had to drive back to town because he said to give him a hour. (Mind you this is a long drive for a hour) 4. Only 4 towels and wash cloths for 2 people staying 8 days. I strongly remember this was not the case on elk springs resort property. They did assure us that this is the normal and a starter supply - due to washer and dryer I did not argue. Besides again - this was manageable. 5. The window on the porch clearly is bent and looks like someone tried to break in the property. This was sketchy and made me feel uncomfortable. 6. When we walked barefoot in the cabin our feet was dirty - made me question the cleanliness. I’m pondering on weather to come back to elk springs next year considering this. Yes it is a first, but we could have been accommodated better. Other than that - our theater room was nice, hot tub looked clean, and plenty of firewood for our fireplace. We noticed a couple ants the first night we got in by the window in the kitchen but we killed them and moved on. When we woke up the next day, they were everywhere. They were crawling in the sink, on the stove, and all over the food that we bought the previous day. We immediately called the property management and they said they would send someone out to spray, and they did, but then we did ask for some type of reimbursement because we had spent so much money in food and we had to throw it away because of the ants. They gave us $34 back on an over $900 stay and we called them back multiple times and they would never return our phone calls. If they would have returned our calls they would’ve known that the ants were in the bathrooms as well. The cabin was beautiful and a great set up but the company who is supposed to care for the people paying to stay, were very disappointing in regards to not even returning our phone calls. I would only recommend property if the management was better and the ants were completely taken care of.
