Fully furnished lake front property in beautiful Oak Harbor (near Ithaca, NY) with 120 feet of private beach front and an oversized dock great for boating, swimming and fishing. The dock also features a boat house with a 500 square foot loft over the water. At beach level is a two story suite with a kitchen, bathroom and breakfast area on the first floor, and a double bed on the second floor. The bedroom has a large sliding glass door great for sleeping to the sound of the waves. The main house sits on the hill with a stunning view of the lake. There are three bedrooms upstairs that sleep 7 as well as a sun porch great for kids who want to sleep "outside". A washer and dryer are at bedroom level, perfect for packing light. You won’t want to leave – a full size kitchen means you can cook a five course meal. Pots, pans, dishes and anything else you might need are there. We provide all the linens, towels and full sized washer and dryer to make your packing experience as seamless as possible. The house also features a gourmet bathroom upstairs and a half bath downstairs, three bedrooms, a sun porch and a sleeper sofa to sleep a total of 10 people, an indoor dining area that seats 8 and a covered outdoor area that seats an additional 8. The house has a wrap around porch that overlooks the lake, perfectly situated so that all you see is the water.

The beauty of the Finger Lake Region with its many State Parks, Wineries, Gorges, Waterfalls and hiking trails. Enjoy the beauty of the Fall Season and the change of color of the leaves. Quiet evenings enjoying the serenity of the lake; light a beach fire, have a glass of wine, enjoy friends and family.

1. Taughannock State Park is a quick mile away. It features a flat 3/4 mile hiking trail along the creek that flows from Taughannock Falls. Kids especially love the experience of wading through the water. There’s also a rim trail for more serious hikers, a life guarded swimming area, a huge playground, and a boat rental kiosk.

2. Ithaca State Parks. After you’ve explored Taughannock, it’s worth checking out Treman State Park, Buttermilk Falls State Park and Ithaca Falls which are all within a 20-30 minute drive.

3. Cass Park features a flat walking trail along the inlet that’s great for scooters, bikes and running. Cass Park also has a swimming pool and several playgrounds. Cass park is about 15 minutes away.

4. The Ithaca Science Center has a huge outdoor play structure and a building full of exhibits. They take many reciprocal memberships so that’s worth checking out if you’re a member elsewhere.

5. Cornell University and Ithaca College are approximately 30 minutes away. Many of our guests come for the colleges! Cornell graduation weekend and Ithaca College graduation weekend are especially popular at the lake – be sure to book early!

"Mia's Lakehouse", our name for this piece of heaven on earth, is in a prime location being only 10 miles from Ithaca and 2 miles from the Village of Trumansburg. Cornell University and Ithaca College are easily accessed from this Cayuga lake location.

Hungry? There are plenty of options! Mia’s Lakehouse is 5 minutes from Shursave Grocery Store so you don’t have to bring your groceries. We also highly recommend the Falls Restaurant in Trumansburg and Glenwood Pines a few miles down 89 for some local flavor. Then of course, there’s the famous Cayuga Lake Creamery for dessert.

$950 a night, 6 night minimum Saturday to Friday in July and August, 2 night minimum the rest of the year.
