Nautilus provides private beach access directly from the property to the public beach on Okaloosa Island. No street crossing is required to reach the beach.

Enjoy the freedom to explore the beautiful Okaloosa Island shoreline. From Nautilus, you can walk for miles along the beach toward Destin, enjoying the sand, Gulf, and scenery without constantly encountering private-beach barriers interrupting your walk.
- Beach Gear, Already Packed for You: No need to haul heavy gear from home - Nautilus 1504 comes equipped with two extra beach chairs, a cooler, a beach tote, and beach towels.
- COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE: Beach service provided by our beach vendor includes two beach chairs and one umbrella with paid stays of 14 days or less from March 1 through October 31. Your setup is guaranteed, but the specific location on the beach is not.
- Vendor Rentals: Kayaks, paddleboards, extra setups and reserved locations can be rented directly from the vendor on the sand.
- Beach Access: Nautilus provides private beach access directly from the property to the public beach on Okaloosa Island.
- Property Access: On-site private access is stairs-only.
- ADA Access: An accessible public ramp is available immediately next door.

Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

We rented unit 1504, the furniture in the unit needs updating. Housekeeping needs to do better cleaning especially under beds. Glad I didn’t look under it till we left. Overall the property is a great location, right on the beach. Sunsets and sunrises are amazing. "

"1st Beach Trip With Grandbaby
We had such an amazing time at the beach with our 2 yr old granddaughter! Our vacation started a day later than planned, due to the hurricane, but Nautilus did a great job having everything ready the next day, and communicating with us! "Unit was nice but condo building needs maintenance
Room 1504 was clean and well equipped. Kitchen countertop edges were peeling and kitchen lights were very dim but otherwise nice unit. Balcony table and chairs were the nicest we have ever had! Loved the cooler and extra beach chairs provided!
Cons: 1 elevator was broken 4 of the 5 days. Concrete/sidewalks around the elevator/pool/parking lot area was underwater every day. On Friday, the 1 day that the sun was out, the pool was closed for maintenance and the beach had double red flags so nowhere to cool off! "

This condo was the perfect size for our family of four. Close to everything and the beach was so nice. Loved that we had a private balcony just wish it had a fan out there but enjoyed our morning coffee overlooking the ocean. Staff was amazing and helpful and we really liked that beach chairs and umbrella were included. Also nice to have an ice chest and other beach things in the condo. "

This was our first time staying at Nautilus and it will not be our last. The reservation and check in process was a breeze. They kept in contact with me over email and text. The condo was absolutely stunning. We ate every meal out on the balcony overlooking the ocean except for the ones where we are out. I loved having two different doors to get onto the balcony. The condo was clean and had more dishes/supplies than any other condo I have ever stayed at. We didn't have any issues while there so I never had to even contact them. I am already ready to go back and I hope I can get this same condo next time. We used the beach service while we were there which comes with 2 chairs and an umbrella. There were also beach toys in the closet right by the front door that we were able to use and we even added to it and left some toys for the next people staying there. Hands down the best place we have stayed while visiting Florida. We love how close the condo is to the Okaloosa Island Pier!"

"Nautilus = Yes, but this unit again = no
It was our first stay at Nautilus. I honestly described this unit as feeling like I'm in a thrift store. The furniture in the bedrooms is from the 1970's or 1980's. It is time to update! The kitchen table is cheap and has damage on its surface. The mirrors are worn down with black showing and they need to be replaced in both bathrooms. One of the master bedroom pillows and a chair in the bedroom had a moldy looking spot, so we didn't use those. I would recommend another unit in this building, but this one needs updated before I would recommend it. Other than all of that, we had a good time shopping, eating, and hanging out on the beach."

"Great Family condo!!
Our family had an amazing 10 days in this unit. There was a wagon and extra chair. Sand toys, crab nets, buckets. Nautilus has areas with lots of extra beach floaters and sand toys available. We did a load of laundry every day to wash towels so bring extra pods for washer and dishwasher. We had to buy more TP, paper towels, and garbage bags. Visit the Boardwalk!! 4 restaurants and fun for younger kids!! We will be back!!"

The room was pretty good, but the furniture seems bid for the space, and there was lots of dust and what looked like wall or plaster on the floor under shelves and stands. We had a week long fight with small ants in the kitchen, which caused us to change our cooking plans. Great view and location though. We would stay hear again but not this condo."

"Great Anniversary Trip!!
Everything about the Nautilus was great. Reservation process was simple, check in was easy, Our room was ready early so we could check in sooner. The furniture in our room could use some updating and the towels need to be replaced. We were there in the fall & the weather was cooling down. A hot tub would be a nice addition to this complex. But other than this we had a GREAT TRIP and we will definitely be back!"

"Condo needs a ton of updates
Front desk was nice and yes the condo had a nice view. But that was about it. The begs all sagged, the shower curtains were rusty, fridge leaked, floors disgustingly dirty, outside patio furniture was dingy, dirty and stained. Cracks in the ceiling and all over the condo. The tv in the master bedroom would shut off randomly and never turn back on. Just not impressed. The whole condo needs updated. Called for service twice on the fridge and no one showed up so it just leaked all over the kitchen. "

Very disappointing for the money spent. The unit did mot look like the photo. The furniture was old. The beds in the guest room both creaked so loud you couldn't rest. The rugs loked dirty and worn, the shower curtains had mold and mildew on them, the bedroom furnitire was very dusty,the headboard in the master wasnt attached to the bed and the whole apt looked like the furniture was pieced together from a thrift store. Weve been in other units and they were very nice. Would not recommend this unit."

Our vacation was peaceful and very nice. The unit we stayed in fit our family needs well. Nice place and recommended. The heated pool was enjoyed and the beach is super close. Our water front balcony was on top of the beach. Recovering from knee surgery the beach proximity and balcony were much appreciated. First time I had stayed on Okaloosa Island and I love it. Slower pace and all the amenities one could ask for. Only minutes to Destin as well."

"Wonderful trip!
We had the best time yet on this vacation. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. The only curve ball was the listing said there was a sleeper sofa and there was no bed in the sofa. Not a big deal as there was enough space that we worked around it, but could’ve been a game changer if it was being counted on. The freezer dripped into the refrigerator and made the top shelf a wet mess. We just wiped it up daily and told the front desk. Really enjoyed the toys for the beach and the balcony furniture. Would stay here again. "

This unit was perfect! It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils. The only thing missing was a broom.
I cannot say enough about the amazing view! Wow! The included beach service was a great perk. Cody was the best! He was very nice and extremely helpful.

Condo was exactly what we expected when arriving. Check in process was easy and simple and within 20 minutes of arriving we had our stuff in our room and were at the beach. The perfect place for a beach getaway. "

"NO CURTAINS!!!!!
THERE WERE NO CURTAINS IN MASTER BEDROOM,THERE WAS NO ICE MAKER IN THE REFRIGERATOR,THE CLOTHES DRYER DID NOT WORK PROPERLY AND MADE LOAD NOISE, AND THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH TOWELS AND WASH CLOTHS, SO WE WERE CONSTANTLY DOING LAUNDRY. NOBODY WANTS TO DO LAUNDRY EVERY DAY WHEN THEY ARE ON VACATION. PLUS THE SOFA ON THE BALCONY WAS BROKEN. WHO LEAVES BROKEN FURNITURE IN A RENTAL PROPERTY."

"Unit 1504 BIG DISAPPOINTMENT
We have stayed here now the past 6 summers... 2014, 15, 16, 17, 18 were awesome, we stayed in a different unit every time....all good, beautiful! This year however was a different story...we stayed in unit 1504 July 26th-29th 2019... such a disappointment! Really bad... 360/per night... upon arrival the frig was not working, and the freezer was had to be repaired twice while there...the built in ice machine in the cabinets under the counter was broke so the owner had them remove the machine and replace it with a piece of , no ice, we had to buy bag ice to keep in the leaky freezer...the kitchen sink was leaking into a container underneath the sink...one of the beds in the kids room had busted springs which made it impossible for one of my sons to sleep comfortably, he had to sleep on the stained sofa.... the towel rack in the guest bathroom fell off, it apparently had been repaired before...the decor was HORRIBLE...odds and ins thrown in... no wifi for the landline...not a big deal for some, but I like to be able to phone my children from the beach...the furniture was out dated and STAINED...there were several holes that had been repaired in the walls and by repaired I mean filled...not re painted...the patio furniture did not match and was may sound like Im nit picking, but compared to the other units we have stayed was horrible and not up to the "resort" price of 360/ night... the manager did tell me she had just sent the owner some bad surveys, so obviously she knew the condition of this unit BEFORE I arrived and she did try to move me to another unit, which she could not, as none were available...also said she blocked that unit from being rented again until the owner updated and repaired..which is all fine and good but where does that leave me?? 1300$ spent on a DUMP... I wrote the manager,asking for some kind of reimbursement, NEVER REPLIED TO ME AT customer loyalty "

"Unit 1504
We loved the location of the property, but the pictures were deceiving. Although the general space of the condo was clean, the furniture and balcony were filthy. It was also a bit concerning the the maintenance man showed up 3 times during our week (we did not call to report anything amiss or ask for anything), once he entered the condo while only our teenage children were there and we're not sure what for, we only know because our kids told us when we returned. "

"Great Location, terrible condo
We have been coming to the Nautilus for years. This was our first time staying in Room 1504. From the few pictures online it looked nice. We were so disappointed with our choice. We had to complain to the manager multiple times. When our granddaughter went to use the bathroom the toilet didn’t work, Maintenance had to come and fix it. The other bad thing was the outdated appliances . The refrigerator kept dripping water from the freezer onto our food. Again maintenance had to come and they tried to fixed it but it just needs to be replaced. There’s no ice maker just plastic cubes to make your own ice with. The condo needs new furniture because the sofa is so stained we were afraid to sit on it. The whole needs to be updated!"

"Beautiful views & comfy condo
It’s wonderful to walk downstairs & be right on the beach. We watched dolphins from our condo balcony every day. The property is starting some updates but the condos are still nice and kept up pretty well. "

"Great vacation! Convenient location!
Glasses were dirty, dishes were greasy and silverware had food stuck on...furnishings were not high end but adequate with a plus for two queens in second bedroom and large table on balcony. Automatic ice maker is great! Keyless entry is so convenient. Matenance man and exterminator were both very pleasant. "

"Great Stay!
We had a great time staying at the Nautilus for the 4th year in a row. We have stayed in different condos each time and have liked each of them for different reasons. This condo was very nice and felt like home. I especially liked the tile floors. They were easy to keep clean."

"Celebrate last week before grandchildren go back to school.
We liked having a place to grill. Having an umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach everyday at no extra cost. The balcony had so much space. The ice maker(stand alone) in the room was great. The pool area small and not on beach side, but we stayed on beach most of day."

"Just an OK stay in unit 1504
Some areas need updating like light switches and outlets. Several outlets didn't work and others were so old and used that plugs repeatedly fell out. Bedroom furniture very dated and damaged by an animal. Very old clock radio on dresser needed to go. Remote for DVD player didn't work even with new batteries. Could hear every time a neighbor opened and closed sliding doors, noisy. Guests not observing quiet hours. Patio chair cushions stained and needed replacing. Beach service was nice and view of ocean was great."
