Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

The condo was great. Very spacious. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. It never felt crowded. It is beautifully decorated. The view is great. Having the towels, cooler and chairs there for use was a definite plus. When we had an issue with the bath tub thwy came and fixed it right away. Every possible utensil you can think of. The built in ice maker was also great and saved a lot on buying ice. They also had board games. Will definitely stay there again. "

"My 2nd Trip to Florida
The process to rent this condo was extremely easy.
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
The unit was exactly like in the pictures and was very clean.
The digital code for the door was nice so there was not a key card to keep up with.
Overall I am very satisfied with the unit and it was at a fair price point.
The nautilus is less than 2 miles from the pier so that was a nice bonus.
I would definitely recommend staying here it's very quiet of the evening time and there is very little traffic on the road. "

We travel to Florida every year so we have stayed at most of the rentals along Ft Walton. This wasn’t one of my top picks. It was nice enough for booking last minute. Had a good view, beds were comfortable. There was some hair in one of the showers upon arrival. I do think that for the amount of people in our room we should have had more than two rolls of toilet paper available. As well as the one quarter sized circle bar soap per bathroom. Wasn’t a huge deal we just went and bought our own. Seemed to be some electrical wiring issues(the kitchen light flickered often, some of the plugs didn’t work if certain switches were off) Overall it was decent place to stay just not one of our favorites out of the ones we have stayed along that road!"

"Clean and good location.
Very clean older condo. The view was nice and had plenty of pans for cooking and utensils. The management was very responsive and informative with text and emails regarding the stay. Close to restaurants and a Tom thumb that had icecream when my teens got late night munchies. Good location for a quite family of 5. "

Our family of 5 thorougly enjoyed our stay at Nautilus--our first time to stay in FWB! The location is perfect, the overall size of the building is just great since it never felt too crowded, even with one elevator out of operation during our stay. The staff was friendly and the texts to check in/out were so efficient and easy. We especially loved that we couldn't really hear any neighbors above/below/beside us, maybe due to the solid concrete build? Our unit was very spacious and well appointed with a beautiful view. The only small downside was the carpeted living room and bedrooms (just kind of strange for trapping beach sand) and floors left our crawling baby's knees visibly dirty after our first 20 minutes in the condo. But we found a mop inside and did a quick clean of the tiled floors even thoug they didn't look dirty to the naked eye (they had obviously cleaned, it could just have been in need of a deeper cleaning honestly.) We would return here for sure!"

"Needs work.
We honestly expected it to be better , The showers were nasty , the ice machine was disgusting. the filter needed to be changed , there was dust 2 in thick in some places. the shower head barley worked , there was so pressure... the bathtub stoppers didn’t work, and with 4 little kids I needed it. The washer looked like it hadn’t ever been cleaned.
We won’t stay here again, it was not work the $1,000 "

"I have stayed at better places for less money
The ice machine was making a horrible noise had to call maintenance who left note, he said its broke, the TV in the master didn't have a Box to Change channels had to have maintenance fix, the floor were sticky, the bathrooms were dirty the bed in the master sagged and extemely uncomfortable, the armrest on the couch were sticky and dirty, One roll of toilet paper per bathroom with 2 women for a full week is ridiculous, We had to buy our ice. walls have stains, drips of liquids running down the wall, Work was being done on the 7th floor which was noisy. Terrible experience overall. on cosmetic side, the colors and decor is mix match and brings no cozy feel, relax feel and is very outdated. Picture shows recliner but there was no recliner. I could go on and on. We have stayed in much nicer places and paid less money with a grand experience. Another note, I tripped about 3 times hitting the metal trim sticking up from the sliding glass door going out to the baloncy, this is very unsafe for guests and needs to be repaired for safe reasons."

The Nautilus complex was great! We arrived early and they said we could use pool or beach while waiting for room, We were called early for room, great again, the unit would be OK. Bot bathrooms need redone. In the one you could not sit on toilet without the toilet moving.The other one the tub was really dirty looking with mold showing where the tub needed recaulked. It looked like there was some type of work on the ceiling but never finished. The mattress on the king bed was good but the two doubles were very soft. The bath towels seem to be either old and were not cmfortable when you use them they were scratchy on your skin. I would go to the Nautilus again but try another unit hoping it would be better and a little more updated."

"Wonderful January Vacation
We needed a late minute reservation in order to catch the week of perfect weather. We have stayed in many different places in Fort Walton and Destin over the years but it was our first time at the Nautilus.
We were not disappointed. The condo was spacious and laid out well. Our adult granddaughter was with us and she had her private bedroom and bath at one end, and we had ours at the other end. The kichen was huge and very well appointed with utensils and cookware. All the appliances worked, many were new.
The view was fantastic from the condo and beach access was just right outside. The heated pool was very nice. Everything had been recently updated outside.
The staff was friendly, checkin couldnt have been easier.
The condo was an excellent place to stay for the money. "

This was one of the nastiest, dirtiest places I’ve ever stayed, and I’ve stayed all over the world. This unit should never have accepted been in the rental program. The furnishings must be 30 years old, the carpet is disgusting and filthy. The lampshades have a layer of dust on them that is permanent. No toilet paper holder. Laundry in the dryer. Dead bugs on the floor. It was so gross that I forfeited the second required night and went somewhere else. You should be ashamed."

We have rented with Nautilus for several years, and each year it's great. We've actually stayed in this unit before, however, this year, sadly the unit was underwhelming. Definitely needs to be updated - we also had some sort of water issue where there was water seeping through from somewhere onto the carpet. Wasn't ideal, but we survived. Not sure we'll choose this unit again without updates."

This unit is VERY needy. Old, outdated, needs almost everything in there replaced. The carpet is trash worthy. The ac unit froze up, maintenance came replaced the broken part, the unit froze up again the next 2 days. The patio furniture is junky, uncomfortable and worn out.
I would be ashamed to own a property in such a picturesque setting and fail to maintain that unit.

Horrible Horrible Horrible..Roaches everywhere..crawling on the stove in the ice maker on the floor and one dead in the drawer. It smelled moldiy and had a bad smell..I have video and pictures to support my claim. I requested a refund and have to wait despite of my evidence..whatever you do DONT STAY HEAR UNLESS YOU LIKE THE SMELL OF MOLD AND LOVE ROACHES..not to mention the microwave was one of the first ones made and how I know this because we had one when I was little..but had the nerve to have a trash can that automatic opens when you wave your hands in front of it..that does not match..��"

While we have stayed at the Nautilus before, this unit was not as pictures on the website portray. The furniture is different and seems older, the Master bedroom was not as nice and upon arrival I was informed the A/C wasn't working properly. After a few adjustments to the thermostat on the A/C unit it worked properly. The kitchen floor on arrival was very sandy and a burner on the stove went out. NOT that big of an issue, we made it with only 3 burners. The management was great at responding to the stove issue and replacing burned out light bulbs, just felt like this unit hasn't been taken care of by owners. "

First visit at this particular condo, but this might just be the best one yet. Love the views. Sunrises from the balcony and sunset right out the front door. The pool is visible from the front walk but no pool noise can be heard around here. The views are amazing and we can hear the sound of the surf but not the traffic. A win win. A hidden gem from the hustle and bustle of Ft Walton and Destin. "

"Nice place
The place was nice and clean. Linens were fresh which it is inportant to me. Kitchen was neat. Only issue was the tv on the library room that was not working, a cox tech was called but the problem wasn’t the cable but the Tv. Remote control in the master bedroom was missing but other than that it was great. We will come back."

Over all a really great place to stay; good view of the beach and easy access. Rental also includes umbrellas and beach chairs. Very clean but could use some updating especially the bathrooms."
