Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

"Transferred from another unit that required repairs
This is solely written for lack of CUSTOMER service. I emailed the GM specifying that I needed verification of what the workcrew found and repairs that needed to be done in my former unit. She expediently responded, but neither problem was addressed; she offered to talk to the "host". I emailed her ,again, thanking her for her kind offer and requested (for the second time) the same two findings and stated both were potential health hazards, and I needed the documentation, and to please talk to the work crew. I understand this was around Christmas, but I didn't check out uuntil Jan 5th and the GM hadn't replied to my second email. I also contacted the property/maintenance manager and received no reply. If one's personnel cannot take the time to be professional, courteous, and complete a communication, especially one with potential health hazards/issues, I do not choose to do business with them in upcoming travels.
P.S. I considered staying an additional month and one of the office staff gave me rooms and charges; this lack of professional courtesy changed my mind."

"Chilly Island Winter
I've stayed at the Nautilus several times.
Saff and maintenance are polite,friendly and efficient. I've stayed here by choice. I know it's old and needs some minor work on exterior. This last unit 2611 needs major work or updating. I don't think the owner visits often if ever. The tile inlays behind the sink and on the floor are unique. All sinks are black porcelain. Counter tops are from the '70s. Appliances are old!! Black 2 door refrigerator needs new water filter. Stove and microwave are black also. Microwave has had fire in it. Stove top has had lots of spills. Ruined finish. Works tho. Oven temp not accurate. Cupboard doors are supposed to have magnets. Don't work anymore or are missing. All furniture old and inappropriate. VISIO TV has to have maintenance do. Beds comfortable showers just ok. Mine no pressure. Faucet loose!
TOILETS NEED TO BE REPLACED!! OLD! VERY LOW!! I NOUGHT A RISER SO I COULD GET UP!!! I understand owner has been told. HOA should replace and charge owner 20% fee!! Chest in front bdrm. cheap. Drawers won't open or close. No runners. Wood on wood. Lights and lamps OLD! Loose recepticals etc. Museum quality. T-stat preset. Varied between 72&75. Maintenance tried. Trmp in 30s many nights. Slider to balcony has corroded handle and hard to open!
I like the Nautilus and will stay again. Just not in 2611!! I know Mngmt has contacted owner before. We replaced several bulbs etc. Didnt mind. Many try to come down in July if available.
Overall condition for it's age is good. My friend Maureen had a good recommendation. "

We loved the view and accommodations. Everything was there and in like new conditions.Great walks on the beach and quiet surroundings. Pool was heated and relaxing. Anytime I had a question or concern it was immediately addressed with quick responses. Was concerned about arriving late and getting to Nautilus with the code but it all worked so smoothly we would come again. "

"Perfect 6th floor view!
My family loved our stay at Nautilus! 2611 was the perfect condo for us. The entire condo makes you feel no matter where you are, you are always on a balcony. We loved the convenience of the elevator right outside our door. The master bedroom has floor to ceiling windows looking out to the bay and the ocean. Definitely one of my favorite bedrooms that I have had the pleasure of waking up in. The condo is so close to everything and so quiet. We even lucked out with the perfect day to take an excursion to Crab Island and highly recommend Happy’s for the experience & price! Having the chairs and umbrella on the beach each day was a major plus and they even have kayaks you can rent cheaper than most places on the island. We can’t wait to return again*"

"Outdated and in need of maintenance
There was only 1 elevator for 2 buildings with 7 floors and sometimes the 1 elevator was not even working. Climbing 6 flights of stairs with your beach gear and 3 children after being on the beach is not a pleasant experience. The lighting in the rooms were terrible it was dim and dark the whole time. Thank goodness for the windows in the master bedroom or else you can't see anything. The lighting in the master bathroom is non existent you along with water pressure and hot water. The room smelled like roach spray and yet we still came across numerous little roaches in our condo. All of the luggage carts are placed directly in front of the elevator making it extremely inconvenient for people trying to get on and off the elevator because it is so crowded. The space is outdated and in need of renovations. The furniture is too bulky for the space with only 1 couch facing the TV. I work remotely so I need Wifi on trips and the Wifi was very weak. "

"Perfect
We stayed in unit 2611. We had a side veiw of the ocean with a rap around patio. 2 bedroom and 2 baths. The kitchen was well stocked with the exception of no casserole pan, but we just got disposable metal ones. The office workers were very helpful and nice. The condominium also had floats,chairs and toys for the kids. Overall it was a great experience and I will rent from them again."

"Will Rent Again!
My husband and I have been renting from a private owner at the Nautilus for several years! This was our first time renting thru Nautilus and we would highly recommend! Very clean, had what we needed and the office ladies are so great! Overall this was a very easy rental experience and we are planning on returning again next year! We have stayed many places along the gulf and Nautilus will always be our favorite!! "

We had a very good overall stay. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. The complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas were very good and the workers were very nice and accommodating. The main inconvenience was the elevators. The south elevator didn’t work the whole time we were there and the north stopped working on our last day. "

The unit itself needs a deep clean. The doors had stains on them, light fixtures very dusty, garbage under the bed and pull out sofa. Great view and location with beach service was a plus. Pool is simple but our kids loved it. Elevators working was hit or miss. "

"Just a few opportunities
We came during a very busy time of summer. The unit we selected was 2 bed and 2 bath. The unit was generally clean however there were dirty dishes in the cabinets and dusty areas throughout. I'm not sure I feel confident that the sheets were clean so I washed them. I liked the amenities. There wasn't anything missing that we felt we would need. The bathrooms were severely outdated. I was also really frustrated that we only had 6 towels, 2 hand towels and 4 wash cloths for an entire week in a 2 bedroom condo. I had to wash towels nearly every day because linen service is not provided. The ac also froze while we were there. Of course it was hot and humid outside so we kept the balcony doors closed. We did go in and out but that is all. I'm not very heat tolerant so we keep the inside cool. It was very frustrating that the Maintenance crew suggested that it was our fault for and we had to have left the door open. It was asked repeatedly and clearly they didn't believe us. They were very punctual though, I will say that. We had a good time in Florida and the issue mentioned did not interfere with that. It's just that when you pay $370 per night plus fees, you expect more. Not sure if we will use the same location again, if we go back in the future. "

"Family getaway
Nautilus Condo offered the relaxing experience my family needed. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need and the washer dryer was a bonus. The views of the beach were amazing, when we went in March the balcony gets sun in the morning, rather than the afternoon. I regret not getting a rental car as it is just outside of walking distance to the restaurants and entertainment, but we managed with friends driving us. "

"Our Condo vacation
Our stay in unit #2611 had nice view. While some of the amenities were missing or not working properly, the guest service personnel were top notch!
A blow dryer was missing from the unit... they found me one. The tv in the master bedroom was not working but I didn’t watch it anyway. They were trying to repair it but Hurricane Sally did a number on some of the units. I was forewarned about damages to the unit prior to my arrival. Overall I would stay here again because of the hospitality Destiny showed throughout my booking and stay.
The big con for the property was the roach issue. They did have an exterminator come during our stay though. "
