Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

This is an older complex, but it very well maintained. The location, for us, was perfect. Close to lots of great restaurants and activities, but far enough away from all of that to be quiet. We were not oceanfront, but the way this property is designed, all rooms have an ocean view. We could not have asked for more for the price we paid. We would/will most definitely stay here again."

"Less than satisfied
Our family just stayed for one night, so I think I may be extra disappointed in what we got for the price (cleaning and processing fees would have been less per night if we stayed longer). It was well stocked and overall, surfaces seemed to be cleaned well, but the couches were stained and there was a leftover smell that lingered in the whole place and it was even in the blankets. The balcony had a nice view, staff was very helpful and nice, great access to the beach, but the smell ruined the experience for me. I was thankful to have a quiet place to sleep, but we have paid much less and gotten far more comfortable and cleaner accommodations at the beach."

The whole experience was great, the nautilus building and grounds, the condo, the beach, beach service, proximity to attractions, the whole thing. Immediately after booking we were contacted by nautilus with answers to questions we had that we hadn't asked yet and hadn't thought to ask. Leading up to our arrival we received helpful information about what to do once we arive. The lady working that day was very pleasant and helpful. Our 7th floor room had a wonderful view, both of the bay and the gulf. The condo was well stocked. The kitchen had everything you need to cook like at home (not things like butter or milk, of course). Everything was great. Highly recommend and will return. "

The condo worked out perfectly for our family. We were in town to help an elderly family member. The mgmt company was very accommodating with our requests and we would easily come back again. The condo was clean and nice, with a view of thw Gulf. Well-stocked kitchen, nice GE appliances, good A/C. The condo did have some wear and tear (towel rack in the bathroom was on the floor, one balcony chair had a small rip in the fabric). That didn't prevent us from having a fantastic time or enjoying the condo. Loved the 'left behind' stash where we could borrow extra beach chairs and floats. Beach service was available even before check-in time! Staff was super nice, always available and helpful. I will definitely stay hear again!"

"Not worth the money
First, we paid a significant amount of money for this stay and there were very few amenities to this unit. Four towels and 4 wash cloths for a 5 day stay. Really no feels to the unit...just rooms for you to sleep. The master bed felt like I was sleeping on a dorm room twin bed. Very hard and pillows were very flat. Pulled back the cover and it was long hairs underneath. Washer and drier definitely need an upgrade. You basically can get two beach towels and a couple pair of underwear in. This is especially important if you are only providing the bare minimum of towels to your guest. no beach towels are provided. Key pad went out so my husband and I were stuck with one key to share. "

Not impressed. This is the first year we used this condo, we normally use a different condo building. 1st of all the ONLY reason we used it was because they wouldn’t refund us our money because my daughter was In the PICU with RSV hooked up to oxygen for 5 days. The condo was dirty, the beds were hard, the location was mediocre at best. They were very misleading about the location of the condo on VRBO. But the heated pool was a plus. We won’t be back. "

Condo Smelled musty- very stripong when we first walked in. master bedroom missing privacy vertical blind slat, white patch areas on several walls, 3 roaches, a dirty sock under queen bed. Master bedroom is very loud with street traffic right outside sliding door. Sliding doors very hard to open looks as though tracks have never been cleaned. Would not recommend this unit at all. "

"Spring 2021
The location is great. Again this year, there were problems with both elevators. The beach facing sliding door in the master bedroom was inoperable and the one in the living room was difficult to move. This was reported while we were moving in and never addressed. There was noticeable unfinished drywall/baseboard repair in the master as well. The washer/dryer was not level and walked around when used. We’ve stayed at Nautilus at least 10 years straight and several times in 2711. TV’s are cheap, yet the master bedroom TV for years has multiple lines distorting the picture. The pricing at Nautilus has risen far above the product. We love Okaloosa Island and the top floor end unit. The property location is fantastic. But, specifically, 2711 needs to be better maintained and upgraded in support of the “Million Dollar View”."

Overall condo was nice & perfect size for 4 people. Would like a different unit next time to have a front view of beach! Being near the street was noisy at night & early morning. Unit could really use new window coverings, would really help to keep some of the light out & maybe help some of the street noise!! Upon arrival room was a little musty but quickly cleared as soon as the furnace was up on. Beautiful views and nice room. We did hear a lot of traffic being in the back of the building. Wishing we would have had better weather to enjoy the balcony but nothing you can do about Mother Nature :) We would definitely stay at the Nautilus again, but Gulf Front would be my pick."

Have stayed at the nautilus for several years. Great office. Personnel and maintenance of the units. This year the owner of our unit 2711, replaced the living room furniture with some very uncomfortable couches, so next year we have reserved a different unit. Prices did go up so we will be coming for a shorter time."

"Very Convenient Location In Ft Walton Beach
We were very happy with Unit 2711. Had one minor problem when the dishwasher wouldn't run. The maintenance man came up quickly and was able to fix the problem on the spot. We were also able to check in early since the unit was ready. The convenience store right next door was a real plus since I enjoy getting a local newspaper each morning. Enjoyed a lot of walks on the beach right out the door. "

"Family Vacation
Loved the location - beachfront and everything from dining to all kinds of kid fun within 5 minutes. Condo was just what we needed and very clean. Only disappointment was that the check-in time stated 4 but we received a call at 3:30 letting us know that the office closed on Sunday at 4. We felt horrible because we had been in the area all day waiting to check in. When I mentioned that the paperwork said 4 pm check-in and that the office sign states they close at 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, I still felt as if we had done something wrong. But it will not stop us from returning- however we will know to try and check-in early next time!"

Absolutely was satisfied. Our unit does need some up has a wonderful view, and overall the kitchen is well stocked. The furniture is a bit outdated, and the blinds in the master need to be replaced. The ice maker broke, but was late into our stay and was not repaired while we were there.. The staff is very nice and always make us feel at home. Over all the unit was clean, the cleaning staff should pay a little more attention to corners, and the fan blades. I would recomend the Nautilus to anyone! We had a great time.

"Amazing Location
Absolutely loved my stay in 2711. Very clean and wonderful views. The office staff was amazing and recommended great places to eat - other than the touristy places. The pool was nice - sometimes a little crowded, but the bathrooms were also very clean. 2711 has an ice maker that produced enough ice for our daily yeti cooler on the beach. The beds were hard, which I would recommend replacing, but other than that it was a wonderful vacation! Will definitely be back. "

"Great environment to have our family together at the beach.
We stayed at another Nautilus condo two years ago and fell in love with the atmosphere. So when we had an opportunity to return we jumped at it. This place is so convenient and family friendly that it is an easy decision to make to stay here. Clean condo, fabulous view, clean pool and grounds. Great beach service. "

"GREAT stay at Nautilus
This was our first stay in the area. After much research we decided on Nautilus. We were extremely pleased. The condo was amazing, great location, and very inviting. The staf was awesome, helping us as needed. Beach wasn't crowded nor was the pool area. We will definitely be back!!"

"Enjoyable Views
This building is unique and comfy. The view of the gulf and the harbor was nice. The unit was clean and just as pictured. It was quiet and the beaches weren't crowded. The elevators are really slow though and this unit is on the 7th floor. The kitchen was huge and we loved the icemaker. The wrap around deck was amazing! We were close to everything- only 10 minutes to Destin, but we liked being on Okaloosa Island. Quieter with less hustle and bustle. I felt safe here, but my boyfriend's truck had stuff stolen out of it one night after we forgot to lock it. Keep your vehicle doors locked!! Other than that, we really enjoyed this location and rental unit. I would definitely return in the future."
