Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

Our stay was relaxing, which is what we wanted. We love coming to Nautilus. But have to say we were disappointed in renting a “Penthouse” and finding it was no more than a 2 bdrm condo. Nice, clean, and spacious. But elements like kitchen cookware and kitchen amenities overall, need replacement and more character and welcoming needs updating to condo. Too sterile."

"Not worth the money
The dishes in the cabinet were all dirty, caked on egg and food from whoever stayed there last, half of the silverware looking like it had been used and put back in. Blinds were broken, bed was FULL of sand like the sheets had never been washed, plus there were stains on the blanket. The windows in the bed room were taped shut with blue tape. None of the sinks drained when we went to use them. The hot water ran out after 5 minutes of use so no one could use the bathroom. . Initially staff was super friendly but when we came down to check out the acted like he couldn’t be bothered to look at us. Not sure where the resort fees and $150 cleaning fee are going but it’s definitely not for cleaning and upkeep. "

"Unit 1701
The property is ok but the floors and furniture were not very clean when we arrived. We had to clean and wipe down things. The balcony below had people smoking constantly and talking very loud and it caused some problem for us enjoying the balcony as much, and our balcony had a dirty table and chairs. The unit was older and some things remodeled, but bathrooms and bedrooms still dated. The kitchen was a good size but not having any cooking items at all, coffee filters, no toiletries at all, and no additional additions was surprising for the price as most condos at least have some items left over to use. It made for many trips to the store and also having to only have minimal towels was difficult. The office staff was nice and check in was easy. The beach was beautiful. It was a great location but the property definitely didn't provide as nice of amenities or cleanliness as the other condos in the area that we have stayed. The maintenance staff did a great job being visible and working around the condo exterior. The price per night for the unit seemed high for an older unit at off season, but it worked for what we needed. Pictures do make it seem newer and cleaner than it is though. I would stay again but would like it to have some additions and be cleaner next time. "

We were very happy with the condo. It was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and it was very clean. We had a little trouble figuring out the cable TV situation as the "blue book" was missing but we got it working. The views were amazing and the staff was friendly and very helpful. "

There was young children cleaning the rooms. Our room had a live roach in the master bathroom sink. Hair was in the sink. Guest bathroom had hair stuck in the drain. Elevator didn’t want to work right. People was screaming and fighting. Someone was smoking weed. Not enough bathroom paper, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, trash bags, washer was very small, needs some new pots and pans, and dishes where dirty. Had to bring extra trash bags, paper towels, bathroom paper, laundry soap, Hand soap, and dishwasher soap. The grills was not clean out. Had to clean them before you could bbq. Very disappointed in this condo. "

My family really enjoys our stays at the Nautilus. This was our 3rd time over a few years, and it was the penthouse. Our stay was cut short by a fatal illness with family back home. The staff at Nautilus somehow was able to credit our charges back for our unused stay. Great people to deal with as usual. "A Wonderful Trip
Everything about our stay at Nautilus was perfect. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful around. The unit is wide, spacious and clean. Kitchen is well stocked. The beds are super comfy. The balcony is great, there's plenty of room to take a nap in your lounge chair or relax in a rocking chair to the most beautiful view. The elevator is pretty slow, but everything else being so great, we didn't care. We will be back! We loved Burrito del Sol, Chicago Style Dogs & Beefs, and for an amazing dinner, go eat at Brotula's in Destin... worth the wait! Call Captain Bryan Klein at Sail Away Destin for your private small group cruise, the most fun we had on our trip, he is top notch!!"

"Not what we expected
The location was wonderful but the condo was definitely not what we expected it to be. The master tub was broke, when we got there the condo was dirty we had to go to Walmart and get cleaning supplies, the elevator was gross, the outside pool area was always messy we didn’t swim one time our whole stay the comforters on their bed had stains on them, the patio furniture for a penthouse was outdated, the closets was messy, the floors was dirty and still had sand on them. We made it the best we could for the week we was there. "

"May 2019 Vacation
a little disappointed this time. I totally disagree with your policy of raising the rates after reservations had been made. The increase was $800 which is substantial. it was the 1st time I rented this unit and I was very disappointed. the TV in the 2nd bedroom did not work the entire week we were there. it was very dark - all of the light bulbs were very low wattage and we even purchased some light bulbs. If I would have put on make up in the bathroom I would not be able to see. I did not apply makeup for the week. the curtains in the living room need to be fixed - they look awful. there was a substantial amount of dust bunnies under the master bed. the patio furniture could have been upgraded with some newer cushions. If I do come back next year I will not rent that unit but I am not sure I will after you raised the price by $800 by adjusting your dates. This was our first time on Okaloosa Island. The condo was perfect for us! We chose the bigger room because it was our wedding and our room could be used as a meeting point for everyone in town. "Awesome Condo & View
We loved our condo on the 7th floor on the end. We couldn't believe how large and beautiful it was. The corner balcony was huge and beautiful views of the entire gulf. The bed was very comfortable and the full kitchen allowed us to feel at home. Location was great with a very short walk to get to the beach over small walkway from the pool. The unit smelled clean and fresh and the garden Jacuzzi tub was very enjoyable. The only negative thing I could mention is the elevator is very slow and long waits to get up and down to unit. "
